Why are Africans still selling their people into slavery. As a Black Jamaican, I am very hurt and disappointed that this brutality that was inflicted on my ancestor 400 years ago continues today. Stop

Segun, are you a therapist or psychologist? If you are, you will be able to identify the very clear signs of trauma. It is not something our people understand and we are often ignorant or in denial of trauma and mental health issues. The fact that someone goes on with their life after a traumatic experience does not mean they have recovered. It is her resilience that is keeping her going. She will require counselling and support to overcome this. And the grace of God. I am trained in this field and I can see the signs.

    • @senayon85

      BrownGirl Africa thank you.
Most of the time we as Africans do not understand or even acknowledge mental health issues. It's disheartening how ignorant and insensitive we can be. But someday all that will change. 🙏🏽

I agree, she is suffering from post traumatic stress disorder and it will take a long time for her to recover from her horrific ordeal without going through counselling or therapy, wish her the best. Our young people need to be educated about how unsafe certain parts of the world are for black people, even here in the western world there are places i do not travel to because i know that my anything could happen to me and no-one will give a damn.

Promise Tochukwu Certain people who control currency values are creating desperate situations for searching people in many specific countries to do things they normally wouldn't do some more than others more than ever. And those people they go after the natural resources.
Actually initially Africans did not sell each other into slavery to Arabs and europeans to be taken off the continent etc. Later brainwashed Africans helped catch other Africans into slavery.
Arabs and europeans gave/give gifts as controlled opposition fake nice tactics to get on the good side to let their guard down of the people they were going to eventually attempt to conquer.
Africans hired Europeans to transport Africans to other parts of Africa (to other queendoms kingdoms etc)
In initial African societies sex was within wedlock to procreate children. Many people do daily tasks to help build communities like cooking cleaning Etc as slavery. Servitude is not totally dominating if you could people stripping the way their culture and making them worship the captors as gods as slavery does and loose sex outside wedlock.
People can agree to disagree or not. Respect💯

    • @wakeupworld100
      @wakeupworld100 5 лет назад +1

Promise Tochukwu Certain things cannot be restored if something is tainted in a certain way.
Many the young African women should have married quality well established African men in their country procreating children within wedlock. That could have prevented a lot of those situations like what happened to the young lady in the video.
Many more young ladies fire themselves and sabotage protection.
Compassion and constructive criticism is needed. No gender is excused from constructive criticism💯

I replied, go to their embassy, website or call the embassy and follow the steps.
She said nooo I want to go and hustle.
    I asked her how much,
How much money do you have for the trip? She said 1 million Naira for everything.
I told her all the pros and cons and adviced her to start a business with it here in Nigeria.
She told me that I don't want her to travel, that since I always travel, that I do not wish her well, that she will get there one way or the other.
    I wished her Good luck.

      African Expat
I do live in Nigeria and I have lived in the USA, RUSSIA, ENGLAND and I have visited a lot of countries for 1 month each.
The issue is not the travelling out, it's about sustainability.
1 million won't do nothing for you in Any European country
      Or USA.
      Visa fee.
      Flight ticket
      Accommodation
      Feeding
      And possibly, Healthcare.
She has no family or friends in the USA.
      And she wants to hustle??????
What kind of job will she do on a visitors visa.? That's even against the law to work with a visitors visa.
Prostitution will pay better and in a very short term, but naaa that's one Hell of a difficult Job In my opinion.
Desperation leads people to do all sort of things.
I am in Nigeria now without a job, I just have food and shelter (family home).
Everyone is looking at me and saying all your abroad nothing come out,but they don't know whatsup.
I am still not that desperate to go back.
Travel if you have money and please go legally and not true agents.
Most people that go through agents wants a semi legal entry, cuz they don't have the 💰
      Eg.
If you have 40million why would you get admission through an agent?
Call the University and they will be glad to help you.
      Remember they need your money.

So make the plans now to replace them and move the country forward. In Canada, the average politician makes $150,000CAD a year and all the other money is reinvested in the country, we have free healthcare and free school until grade 12. And student loan programs make it possible for every student to go university and graduate even become a doctor with borrowed funds from the government. Please youth rise up and BE the change you want in the world. Please.

@@user-ui3pw1ys3k yes in the past Oman conquered the south east of Africa, they enslaved and tortured people which is far away from humanity... But the Africans returned the favor by making a rebel and killing as many white persons as they could... One of the omani surviors from that rebel is my neighbor and he told me how they did unspeakable things to kick out the Omanies.. but not all Omanies were like that but the majority... And for ur information I personally know some Omanies who literally still live in Tanzania and Zinnzibar... They are Omanies.. and what happened in the past is in the past and we should not let it disturb the present... unfortunately it is doing that and in Oman the majority of people who live by tribalism which causes them to see them selves above other tribes this is a stupid ugly way of life and those people don't deserve any respect..

Unfortunately, this is a very big issue in the Middle east as a whole and also some other European and Asian countries, I have had a housemaid before in Oman, and I felt terrible for her and so did my parents, so we supplied her with a phone and we gave her a lot of breaks, because, in the end, she's human, we even went to court and tried to get her passport back in which we succeeded in. This is a problem worldwide and we cannot generalize and blame all Arab people, because that is unfair, The Omani Government is making enormous effort to crack down on this horrific slave trade. And this is not the only form of slave trade going around the middle east. Dubai wasn't built by Arabs it was built by poor Indians and Pakistanis trying to make a living and to support their families, they were promised a decent salary and job and home in Dubai but once they arrive in Dubai they're passport is taken they are sent to these facilities that are very similar to concentration camps, and they are put in the most horrendous conditions that violate human rights. This is all because of these companies who seek money and cheap labor.

I am speaking from personal experience. And experiences of many I met. I met some good people don't get me wrong but ud sebse there's a line they draw when you try to get close to them. I may be wrong I may be right but it's just my personal observationnand experience.

Beautiful Black girl. Lovely dark skin. God bless 🙏🙏 Why can't African leaders have a discussion about this and so get their ambassadors to search for these poor victims who are willing to go back to their countries. Black people need to stop going to the Arab world. Period !!!!!
