Is a word used for debt raised for gov of India in order to meet their fiscal deficit.
For gov whenever there is total revenue less than total expenditure -fiscal deficit happens -meet by loan (given by bank insurance or public)
Due to low revenue collection gov borrow loan for continuing day to day expenses -they take loan -through some instrument-t bill ,bond
STRIPS
In bond there are two things -one pricipal and other interest
When we make principal and interest two seperate instrument which is tradable in stock market this is called strips .
Advantage is that we don't have to think about interest rate when gov will give. We can sell anytime and get that value from the market .
