      I would love to give you a challenge my friend, a lot of us people who have had to work in our home since last year may soon be going back to the workplace. And the challenge for me is to cook and carry in the same fresh healthy foods that I have been able to enjoy in my 8-hour work days at home via my own cooking. I have gone out to eat twice in the last 2 weeks and I found that the food in restaurants it's terrible and didn't taste healthy or for flavor. I need to be able to take snacks and a lunch with me and some days even breakfast and a dinner because we work a lot of hours and I bet that other people need this as well. I'm just putting this little idea in your head... Because you are the most clever of people and this is something that you could do in videos or make a whole cookbook out of.--- 'Wil Yeung's way of Healthy Portable lunches!!'
      Challenge given, Sir.👍🎵💡

      @@trinitywright7122 why not go 80% raw? Check out fully raw Kristina and many others on making your own salad dressings which is where the secret to raw living is. I'm bringing such a meal to work with me in a few mins. The more nutrient dense your food is, the less you eat. Mono meals are also easy. Also intermittent fasting. I don't see food being a challenge for me at all. Well to be fair I have a great Amish produce market and also a great Mexican farmers market close by.

    The key reason of the exotic flavour is the garam masala which is already made up of 10- 12 different spices, then ginger garlic onion that gives it a little kick , sourness of tomatoes, with spinach smooth flavour creating the base of neutral paneer or tofu gives it a unique, classy yet rustic flavour. One of my favourite too.

    One thing I'm doing lately is recipes that call for turmeric, I add ground black pepper, and those that call for black pepper, I add a little turmeric. That combination is really great for your health and a little turmeric doesn't change the flavor in most dishes, and sometimes adds a nice yellow color.

    • @tithisings
      @tithisings 2 года назад

      That is true! But turmeric is also absorbed well with just about any sort of fat. You don't need black pepper with your turmeric unless you're drinking it with a cup of water alone :)

    Oh my goodness this is a fantastic recipe.
    I have eaten it with rice and rice noodles but today I coated the tofu fried it. Then I added mushrooms and coated with some spare sauce I made the other day and froze. I served it with mashed potatoes and a medley of steamed green veg carrot and sweet potato and mushy peas of all things. My son was a bit sceptical at first but really enjoyed it as did I. A very versatile meal. I made mine quite hot with a chilli sauce my son fermented from very hot chillies. It’s an amazing sauce but the tiniest amount goes a long way.

    This dish is incredibly delicious and absolutely incomparable to the frozen dinner versions, which I thought were pretty great! Now I’m spoiled forever but it’s so easy to make! Footnote: even a very mild version of this (for someone who has sensitivities) is still sumptuous! Thank you!

    I've saved a bunch of RUclips palak recipes, but have dragged my feet making this, my favorite meal. Having made your recipes frequently Wil, I know it's going to come out well. ( I even bought some hing! ). Hugs!

    making this for a second time tonight... word to the wise for those of you living in hot climates, don't let it set out too long on the counter / in the pan when you're done cooking it! the coconut milk and/or (?) raw tofu can spoil quickly. we learned that the hard way... but at least we got to have two fresh n tasty portions right when we were done whipping it up!! and now, we have a great excuse for making a second batch. LOVE IT!
