Printing The Elephant Engraving on an Etching Press

This is a short video taken about a year ago that shows us printing a Resingrave engraving block on our etching press. We print woodcuts, engravings and relief blocks on our Conrad Etching Press using a wooden jig, or frame, that keeps the block in place when rolling under the press roller.
The jig shown in this video was our 1st, made from scrap wood and tape! We have since built a beautiful and very accurate new jig which can be seen in our future videos.
This engraving is 4x4 inches, and we are printing on Kitakata paper. This small edition was for a print trade we participated in. If you are interested in seeing the official editioned print, please take a look at our Etsy shop!
