@2szymi Yes, there are a number of very good reasons why these longer videos should be closed captioned. If we ever get the resources to add them, we will.
@electrodarman He does have a microphone on, but that feeds the room and the camera takes the audio from that. I'd much rather have a dedicated audio feed or take it from our audio board, but we don't have a way to sync the audio with the video. For the moment, we're stuck with what we're doing. If enough people comment on the quality of the audio, we might be able to get the PTBs to invest in some additional equipment...
...Totally raised my hand for the samples....while here at home. And I'm totally that lady in the shot at the beginning XD And for anyone who loves chocolate information, read The Chocolate War by Deborah Cadbury. While it's primarily about the Cadbury company, it covers a great deal of the history and evolution of chocolate. A very interesting and excellent read.
thanks for the video, in future it would be great to improve audio - speech quality, because its hard to understand. thats the whole point of this to hear and learn something new.
@DHdrizzle And the process of leaving a link in a comment should be easier, too. Putting three w's in a row is enough to trigger an 'error' in posting? Wow.
@DHdrizzle You can check our current openings by going to our main web site (w w w dot jlab dot org) and then clicking on the 'Employment' link on the left-hand side (under 'Public Connections'). From there, click on 'Career Opportunities' under 'Resources.' At the bottom of that page, click on the 'Current Job Opportunities' link. This process should probably be easier...

Deciphering the genome is one thing. Building an organism made-to-order is another. You can't just pick and choose which characteristics you want things to have.

Take a look at the more recent ones. We've developed a way of capturing better audio since this was recorded.
would be great if there were closed captions for this, that makes it easier for non-native english speakers to understand whats being said
We do what we can with the equipment we have.
Not a school. It was at Jefferson Lab.

@DHdrizzle The chocolate company? I don't know. You'll have to check out their website.
Why not record the audio into a feed or something. It'd be easier to hear.
