I have 3 more to add for you! The first is "My Sister Sif" I read this over and over in high school! I cried every time! The next is the "Fred the Mermaid" series, she is a mer who lives with humans daily, and she is SO sassy and kickass, I love her! The last is the "Lost Voices" trilogy!

I would like to read a book with mermaids but Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings style... do you know what I mean? Any recomendations? Thank you 😊
Just in case you're still wondering, Deep Blue fits that description to a tea. There's a ton of imagination in the magic system and world building.
