EDIT 7/10/21: Thank you guys for giving the video to 100 likes! I'm so glad that I started this series and have been getting positive feedback from the Skylanders community!!! I was told that it is still possible to play the Trap Team game on an android device. You'll only be able to play the first level (which was the demo) and play as Instant Snap Shot and Instant Food Fight with a life trap. Since the servers for the game were shut down, you can't play the full game or use the portal and controller.
Question do you need to own traps to beat the game also when you trap villains such as kaos do you need to own the kaos trap to trap him pls answer would help
Na man idk cos I been replaying it recently to get the platinum trophy and I haven’t had any game breaking glitches on any consoles I’ve played, mobile, wii u, xbox 360 and ps4/5
My favorite glitch in trap team is one I haven't heard of anyone else experiencing, I once had both the villain and skylander load at the same time, and no matter what I did, I couldn't reverse it. Basically the two characters would be side by side, and whatever you did would make both characters move in unison. The villains timer didn't work, swapping to a different gamemode didn't work, and using a different trap didn't work. I had to reset the game to fix this, and I still have no idea how I triggered this glitch in the first place

i never ran into any bugs in trap team (ps4) in my extended play-through. yes i 100% beat it. But i did discover a few glitches having to do with switching from traps to skylanders mid air. especially tae kwon crows jump. you can get out into certain areas you shouldn't be in. but that was really a bug that you cant do without deliberately searching for it.
Whenever I play the dreamcatcher level, it freezes in the boss fight and makes a loud beeping noise. I always have to play the level twice. It doesn’t help that my version is a Wii copy.

This is most likely why Superchargers had way less figures to collect then the previous games. 7:41 Mine's as well, I do believe it was also the only portal that works with all games. 11:31 Hehehe, yea, this was an half-baked explanation on why Light and Dark wasn't a thing in the previous games, even though they were everywhere lmao. 12:07 Don't think the creator's didn't care about him either, considering he appeared as the first level and never appeared in any cutscenes other then flashbacks. 12:38 Eh, I barely played trap team, but this hub area looks more fun to play in then the previous 3, especially the first one. 13:48 Also want to add that for some reason, chompies are the same as they are in the regular universe instead of being the opposite like everything else. why the hell is that? It would be hilarious to see them as colossal threats. It's like in rpg games where slimes are generally the weakest, but in other realms, they are very dangerous. Honestly it's a shame Trap Team doesn't look as good I thought it was. Maybe because the designs of the trap team got to me. 14:49 aww, Skystone Smash sounds like a fun game to play. 17:40 This was when skylanders was basically started to become extremely frustrating for completionists. It's extremely difficult to get some of these traps because only certain regions get a certain trap. At least it isn't as bad as Imaginators where it's out right impossible to 100% it. Which is my favorite though? That is tough to say as many of them have good designs.

May I ask what is required to play the 3ds games sense you don't need the traps for trap team also what's required to play super chargers on 3ds I'm only asking cause I've never played the 3ds games only console and thought I give them a try
All you need for Trap Team is the Portal of Power (any portal past Swap Force if you plan on using Swap Force figures) and at least one Skylander. Superchargers requires a Portal, a Skylander, and a Sky Vehicle.
Mikenoid can you think of another way for toys for bob to make money without making the elemental gates exclusive to trap team, I was watching videos of other skylander youtubers and they were complaining how elemental gates are exclusive to trap masters only and the cores were foreshadowed. I'm honestly against that to but at the same time I can understand that people would use their previous skylanders to open gates and they wouldn't be able to make money. So Im asking everyone if they could think of an idea
Dang we share a lot of favourites from trap team Enigma,Knight Light and Gearshfit are also my top 3 trap masters and Blades is my favourite core some of the other highlights for me are Blackout,Fist Bump,Bat Spin and Chopper The roster is pretty good but trap team has to be my least favourite in the series for the large amount of glitches,removal of pvp,traptanium gates and other factors that really ruined the game for me
I like the academy in this game but it was lame having it in the next two games. Past trap team, the academy no longer had cool things to do in every inch of it and the interior was made really lame.
15:35 Wait what? This game made everyone OP or buffed in someway. Like there's rarely a single Skylander in this game that doesn't have an attack that does 80 to 100 with no upgrades, everyone can get JACKED to level 20 fast cause this is the easiest game to level up and get gold.
Trap Team is overrated and my second least favorite Skylanders game. This video perfectly explains why. I used to like the 3DS version of Trap Team a lot, until I got bored of it. The adventure packs are really disappointing in the 3DS version of Trap Team. Though I do like the new elements introduced in Trap Team.
I'm glad I was able to cover the 3DS version right! I just wish we got more Skylanders to represent Light and Dark, it would've made them feel more special 🤧

I just used Blackout and Spotlight to unlock the elemental gates of the new elements. Also, there's no need to collect many trapmasters because Gusto comes with the starter pack. What I really forgot mention about the 3DS version of Trap Team is how much I hate forced gyroscope control gameplay at several times.
I hate this game its buggy I soft lock my self i tried to fight smoke screen as sproket now im pretty good as her but there's a glitch where i can't build her turrets now you might say try another character but I'm going to say shouldn't ever character be able to go though a level with out any glitches also Why can't I raise my skylanders stats you may say what about the hats but I don't like hats on my skylanders now you my say I should suck it up and put on the hat but I would say that in ssa, giants, swap-force, and superchargers, you can raise your skylanders stats without hats I lnow the reason is because the game wants the player to use villains but If i do use them the game is to easy if i dont I find my character taking only 2 hits till death I don't like this game sorry for not enjoying it but I'm not touching this for a while.

You don't need any traps to beat the game. If you want to play as Kaos, you'll need the Kaos Trap, otherwise he will go to the Villain Vault.
