Your characters are so well-written and full of depth. I can't stand silly characters who spend half the book lying to each other. Thank you for another enjoyable story.
Thank you so much for sharing this audiobook, Ms. Nichols! It was very sweet, swoony, and intelligent. As the kids say these days, "it hits different" than your others, which I also love for the most part ;-). It had me in tears for Gideon, and maybe that was a trigger for me in certain ways. And, of course, happy tears as they helped each other through.
I'm here from the outdoor boys yt channel...not a fan of this genre but Melanie's got talent! Pleasantly surprised. Ironically, I'd definitely play this on a camp outing
❤❤❤❤ I loved the Jack of all Trades books and I adore this one. I am almost finished and it is so gripping. I was not attached to George or Marian in book 2. MA Nichols is a gifted writer.
Thank you for another wonderful story. ❤ thank you as well for continuing to have your stories read by a real person. I enjoyed listening to such a talented voice. I look forward to your next audiobook.
Oh Gemma is so precious. I love how honestly curious children are. “Aunt Evelyn was showing Mr Payne the mistletoe!” Poor Gideon. Without the approach from Lewis he would have been completely alone. So it was so relieving to hear his final words to his father. It was heartbreaking to watch how quickly Evelyn gave up on him due to her catastrophic thinking. Telling our heart stories about others motives is such a toxic thing to do. My favourite scene of them was Under the Mistletoe. However I really enjoyed Marian the tempest sending George inside and then speaking to Gideon with both understanding and determination, telling him to give Evelyn time but not rejecting him. People with hearts like that are the most valuable friends ever. Without Marian Gideon may have lost his confidence to reapproach Evelyn entirely.
@@m.a.nichols love that idea of a family tree. I’ve become so attached to the outcome of their beautiful beginnings and the outcomes of their relationships. As a single never married women of 63 I am seriously a spinster no doubts due to my Aspergers syndrome and so I lack proper social skills and miss the obvious social graces. Through your books, I am learning about relationships. Thank you
I started this yesterday and I can't deny that we have another masterpiece from M.A Nichols!!!
Love Evelyn’s inner thoughts and insecurities. All so intelligent and relatable. Keep your stories coming! And no better reader anywhere!
Agree, the reader is excellent!

How does the authoress remember all the people in the family tree? It’s sooo good and I am happy for Evelyn and Gideon.
I use lots and lots of spreadsheets & diagrams. So many of them...
