What a tragic, yet beautiful novel. My favourite scene was Mirabel with the vases and their both sitting in the driveway. Claire is precious and the narration for her was perfect. I do hope when we get Duke Aldingbournes story we will also meet Kit and Mirabels next child. Thank you Sofi for this new series.
I bought this novella when it first came out. It is lovely and well worth the listen. Sophie is one of my favorite authors and I have her on my must-buy list! Thanks Sophi! 💙
Oh wow what a rollercoaster that one was ❤ I’ve always thought Lucy and her Duke were your best work but this one sure is a contender, loved it! Thank you for generously posting your books, I can only find them new to buy and they are a bit expensive for me, especially when postage is added, so I really appreciate these ❤❤
I'm sorry, but when they mentioned Figaro, my mind went straight to the Bugs Bunny Figaro aria where the tenor's head shrinks and he sings like a chipmunk.
This is probably my favourite story. Love the complexity of it and how there wasn’t a single active character with a bad bone in them. I loved how everyone was working towards reuniting them. Just wondering though, if he was 21, how would his old relative been able to prevent him from contacting Mira or sending a letter, or in fact how was he ‘caught’ every time he escaped to try to get to Mira? If he was a young boy I can understand, but he was 21 - an adult with full rights and responsibilities. It’s still a story that I will be re-reading hundreds of times though 💗
Fellow readers, I ask your help, a few years ago I read a romance that I cannot remember the name of nor the author. Can you help with this outline of the plot please. It starts with a wedding day, the groom is horribly drunk/hungover and the bride, who, like him has no wish to marry, runs away, struggling to get over the garden wall, the bestman sees her, first tries to stop her then assists her and obviously after ups and downs they fall in love. Anyone, please...

Certo he mi piacerebbe capire ciò che ascolto ma soprattutto leggere i sottotitoli!!!!perché sono italiana e non ho padronanza assoluta dell'inglese...mi spiace che non sia sottotitolato perché?!!
