In my opinion, Glamlite missed a huge opportunity to include beautiful yellow/orange/red tones in this palette....at least one yellow would have been great considering the packaging. And where are the midtone shades. That colorstory is dark.
I honestly don't know who that collection is for...but maybe that's just me.

As a retired kindergarten teacher the Glamlite collections reminds me of Playdough😂❤ I saw of video of the Hourglass liquid blush I think that will be my next pick up.

I’ve been feeling similarly about Glamlite. They still do some palettes I love but I’m realizing that I don’t love or want all of them coming out now - which is good!
I hear you on that Adept palette, but I don’t love those marbled shades at all. I usually get their new palettes so that I can mix and match and make my own palettes with more and varied mattes. But that is a lot of money and work when I have plenty of singles that could work similarly!
💙, yes I am over the glamlite. This new Chucky one is a big no thanks. I don't like it looks like something I would see in a kid's play makeup set. The color story is ugly I do have the first chuck palette too.
That BB Botanical pallet reminds me of the Sorcers Smoke pallet from Unearthly! Its very pretty.

had never heard of the fenty lip oil! I will try it cause my dior lip oil is almost out.
the beauty bay botanical palette is my biggest disappointment in a while. i’m mostly not buying palettes anymore but the ad campaign was SO beautiful and i was expecting to be tempted with humid jewel tones and deep shimmers, tons of purple and green. like an exciting sister to wilderness! instead it’s mostly midtone and a *lot* of warm neutral. nothing about it is anywhere near as appealing as the photos were. bummer.
Wow $55 for FIFTEEN special shades? Thats a deal tbh. I chose to do a No Buy July and a few days later Odens Eye does this drop. Im cringing because I want those blushes/highlighters. I missed the highlighters from last year but I'm holding strong to the No Buy July. I've been passing on Glamlite for awhile. Too much too fast. Last Halloween burnt me out with them. Lastly I did pre-order Unearthlys mystery palette when I picked up the summer collection 😅

I'm going to pass on this Odin's eye palette I love the first one it was far more colorful I use it all the time. Sometimes I'm not happy with their formula. I find a very quite a bit from pallet to pallet I own quite a few Odin's eye pallets some of them I love the color story far more than the formula of their Matt Shadows
I did grab the unearthly pre-order along with their high temp palette. I'm trying really hard to be more thoughtful with my purchases since I only have 2 eyes. But I'm sure I'll end up ordering the gourmande girls palette @ some point. I can't wait to see what you do with that new beauty bay palette. Have a wonderful Saturday!

I really like the look of the BeautyBay “Botanical” palette. I am going to wait for a bit before I order it though. I am totally unmoved by the new Glamlite palette. It’s hard to get really excited by eye palettes right now. I am going to shop my stash for now!

I ordered the Beauty Bay palette. I love greens and grays, pops of neutrals. Easy pass in the past couple of Glamlite releases. They're not really my vibe.
That Beauty Bay palette also reminds me of the Groovy Garden from Ensley Reign and the Venus XL II from Lime Crime. Personally, I LOVE that kind of color story, and I already ordered the one from Beauty Bay. Can't wait to get it! It's my first from the brand, so I'm excited to try their formula and see how it stacks up to the ones I already have in my collection. I might get the one from Gourmande Girls, too, but I haven't decided yet. That would also be my first from that brand as well.

oh it is a lot like the venus palette! (i think it was venus xl 2?) abh had something with that color story too, because they followed the venus palettes for a while and very few people talked about it lol.

My first thought seeing that Beauty Bay palette was that it looks like they combined the two Fantasy Cosmetica palettes I’ve had my eye on - Druid and Fighter. I’m torn as to if I should still get those two at some point or try the Beauty Bay one. If anyone has suggestions or input, please let me know!
I was ecstatic when Odens Eye announced they were bringing back the Christmas palettes last yr. Of course i bought them and 1 of the shimmers in the Merry Christmas palette got hard pan on the 2nd use. Ive had palettes older that are still fine so that turned me off from the brand. It seems influencers are getting better quality. I love their color stories but if that keeps happening, its an easy pass for me
I got the Christmas Eve palette during the second launch and every color is still amazing! However, I was also going to get the Merry Christmas palette, and I'm glad I saw your comment and didn't get it. What a shame that one shade hard panned. Grr 😢
I also experience hard pans in the OE palettes unfortunately. And can’t fix them with the most common tricks. Always wondered why influencers don’t mention this problem.

These brands are getting a bit too pricey for my taste. I LOVE so many of the new products but seem to be getting very overwhelmed. I just purchased 4 Blend Bunny palettes yet I still “want” more even though I DON’T need anything else.

Lately, I've been sticking with cream shadows for just a one and done look. Ulta's own brand is pretty decent, but I definitely prefer the Charlotte Tilbury cream shadows. They don't budge.

Hey Rene! The CP gloss sticks are very comparable to the Tarte ones, the really only difference I feel is the packaging seems a little lower quality, but it is half the price!

Not a fan of red, green, blue primary color stories. Seems more suited twds Bic multipens and TV RGB lights, not really smth ppl would wear as eyeshadow cohesively. I can see some looks, but there r more versatile color stories out there.
I like most of the Ardra color story, but I like the case more than the eyeshadows, lol.
i don’t want that palette because i already have those colors, but primary and secondary colors and excellent eye looks. i’m not quite sure what you mean by cohesive and i get a lot of people want something more neutral, but brights are a staple for a lot of people. i’m wearing hot pink and primary yellow today.
@@moonstone___ Cohesive as in "goes well together". Didn't mention anything about bright colors not being cohesive.
If u think primary RGB is a great, standalone color story, u do u. "Cohesive" is a subjective term, so ur free to have ur own take on it. 🤷🏻♀️

I’m not a fan of green eyeshadow.
Dedes and adept looks very pretty , be picking those two up , glamlite has lost me , don’t care for the gory stuff , miss there original stuff
Not interested because if the PR people are getting is broken, I don’t want to buy something that comes shattered and it would be money 💴 down the drain.
Not interested in Adept because I don’t like the colors.
Not into Glamlite. Never liked collabs and don’t see the excitement.
The colors remind me of colors that were used in kindergarten.
I have enough eyeshadow to use.
I wish Glamlite would settle down and find their own brand identity. These IP collabs are overkill. However, HOWEVER, I would forgive them if they did a Jem & The Holograms collection. That show needs some love in the makeup world and I have faith in Glamlite to knock it out of the park. They could do a Holograms collection, a Misfits collection, and a Stingers collection (to quote Theresa is Dead, my makeup dick gets so hard just thinking about it 😂).
