I gave up make up about 3 mths ago, and wigs and nails and pants, it was hard as i use to be a model and actress, moved out of Los Angeles because I was serious about living Holy, I also gave up cable and no longer watch tv. I stopped wearing make up and high heels when I became a born again Christian 8 years ago. I still wear pants especially in winter but avoid the tight fitting body hugging ones. I also stopped listening to secular music and watching Hollywood movies around the same time too .
I used to be old time Apostolic, no makeup, no pants, no jewelry, long hair. I was living for man's approval not God's. When I humbled myself before the Lord and cried out to Him about the bondage I felt, He gave me permission to cut my hair. I wish I had time to give my full testimony. Trying to stop listening to metal music is very hard for me. I used to be a guitarist myself for about 15 years. I pray that God will Fix me. I was listening to metal long time before I became Christian and it's hard to let go of the metal music.

Now I'm on month 4 of quitting the sexual immorality. I pray that God will help me repent. I'm just glad that I'm saved by Grace but that doesn't mean I'm through trying. A lot of the KJV Bible is about quitting sins. So that's what we'll do. But only Grace is sufficient for salvation. Love you Jesus, for what you have done to help.

Truly ,you speak and preach the truth.A month ago, the Lord called me back to him through a video and after that ,I started seeking him.After days,I saw a comment where a lady said that she no longer wears makeup nor dresses immodestly etc so I asked the Lord and revealed this truth to me too in a prayer. *Note:I asked my grabdma to pray for me.I didn't tell my grandma anything. She lives in another town and I only said please pray for me and let me know if the Lord shows you anything.While talking,she even said I don't know what you guys are talking about since its between you two,[God and me] but this is what the Lord said: He said that he dislikes the things that I put on my lips, face ,hair(I had dyed my hair) etc.And he said that he has made us the way that suit us, the way we look beautiful,our eyes,lips, nose everything! and so we shouldn't change it.The same day and the next weeks ,the Lord showed me and my sis scriptures about how women should live.And he as been slowly changing and teching how our inner beauty should reflected instead.And that time,the Lord gave a revelation to my sis that we shouldn't look in a mirror for weeks(because we were too conscious about our outer beauty) .And boy when I looked at my face after that,*coughs I really did look beautifully even without anything on. And I am reminded of the verse, I am fearfully and wonderfully made , too and the verse that says we were made in his image.And if you ever struggle with low esteem, just look at how lovingly he has made us.Each one of us we are unique and special!So, don't ever let the devil decieve you with his lies that says you're ugly. Thank you for this. I struggle with this as I wear light makeup and wigs. I have acne prone skin and use my makeup to cover my many marks on my face. Your face looks FLAWLESS and the ones who have gave up makeup all I see is that their skin is without blemishes and they naturally look great without it. This is such a hard one for me. But im seeking God and asking Him for strength to know my value in Him and not in the makeup that I wear.

But in reality I have acne, red scars, and big blotchy sun spots. I have big acne that shows up in the middle of my face sometimes. Ask Jesus to take away your acne and then just take away makeup in faith. I believe He will heal you and give you the grace and confidence you need to be happy with how He made you

Makeup actually damages your face and I think that is what Satan uses to make people not to give it up because he has people using the exact thing damaging thier faces but since it covers it up too, people are hooked plus the demonic influence upon them. I used to use make up a lot. I loved it and spent good money on it. Without it, my face seemed strange to me but when God delivered me from it, my face looks better to me now and it's been about 3yrs now. God will take away any blemishes sister. I use to be a singer of secular music and was used to heavy make-up, high-lights in my hair, stilettos, jewellery, tight sensual clothing, etc. It was easy for me to give up secular music and start singing for God when I became a born again Christian (even though I've learnt later, that not all "christian music" is from God either), but I went for about years without giving up all these other things until some heavy conviction by the Holy Spirit. He helped me let go of it one by one. The clothing and jewellery were the easiest, but the make-up was the hardest. I never thought I would go out in public without at least eye-liner. I only gave up make-up about a year ago. The lock-down helped a bit with it LOL. Now that I've given it all up by the grace of God... WOW! I've never felt more free and closer to God than ever! That was the same time that I gave up alcohol completely. I've always loved my glass of red wine or sherry and kept telling myself that it was not a sin to have alcohol, but only to get drunk and even though I still believe that, it was wrong for me, because the Holy Spirit convicted me about it, because of what others knew about me and what having a glass of wine looked like to them... not glorifying to the Name of our King at all!

Thank you for making this video. I had a heard time giving up makeup and the way I dressed because I was comfortable in sin. I had lukewarm Christian's in one ear and then I also felt it was wrong. But this sin goes far much deeper than just wearing the items of the world. I even got into with my mother because she said I was over thinking it. She was so angry. I felt like asking her why so much hate. Getting closer with god is a beautiful thing. Then I thought the enemy and how I used to be angry with the laws of the bible. There is a reason for these laws. It will benefit us in our salvation
I recently returned to the Lord and have stopped watching a lot of movies , tv, and ungodly music. I stopped wearing makeup and slowly been removing jewelry. Not only that, but I check myself in a full mirror to be sure that what I am wearing is modest. My husband appreciates it a lot. A few sisters in my church have advised me to take baby steps and let God clean me up on the inside. They all have uncut hair, don't wear makeup or jewelry, and they always wear dresses. The next day I stopped wearing Make up. It’s been over ten years now and I don’t wear Make up. I don’t even think about how my face looks haha life goes on. There’s no time to waste worrying about how we look.
This is a word from God. Blessed be the name of Jesus for using His servant to send out this word. Recently, God has brought me back to Him and I'm at a place now where I'm seeking Him more and more. It's difficult bcz I have kids and no job, but watching this has spoken to my heart. I'm going to throw out most of what's in my closet, all my jewelry and makeup and trust the Lord to provide modest clothing, according to His will. I've given up watching movies and tracking what my children watch. I'm working on drawing close to God and He will draw close to me. Woman of God, may the Lord continue to use you for His purpose. ❤

I think the jezebel spirit is also in push-up bras. Because I bought a push-up thinking it would fit me better then a regular. No, the moment I put it on I felt the jezebel spirit. It was so extreme too (I think it was so extreme because the Holy spirit was convicting me.) I felt boastful, prideful, mischievious, and walked different. I even started picking arguments with people I knew that day and thought it was funny, as if I was better than everyone else (I was horrible, please forgive me Jesus). I was aware that this was happening too, like something was wrong, but as long as the bra was on there was no control. I noticed it literally came the moment I put it on. These are the things that I noticed cause the jezebel spirit: Any and all make up, push-up bras, manly clothes (if you are female), certain unisex clothes that verge on the guy side, and revealing female clothes or clothes that just are not modest. I think jewelry as well. I am currently working on trying to figure out what to wear now, please pray for me.
Wow! Thesame experience with me. I discarded the push up bra that I bought..the Holy Spirit was seriously against it. I couldn't rest that whole day, I had to go and buy the normal bra..and I have peace in my Spirit.

If we want to be peaceful in Spirit. Im still fixing my wardrobe. Most my life I wore either guyish clothes or full on guy clothes, and by the end of it all the devil tried to convince me to have a sex change or at least identify as a man. But I knew deep down I was a woman, I was just lost. Problem was when I tried to pick woman clothes a lot of the options at the store looked ...well...for lack of a better word...whore-ish.. so I attracted the jezelbel spirit. Thanks be to Jesus is reminding me of these things. I have been feeling a lot better recently, because the Lord is showing me things in my life.

I have been telling people that wearing clothes that belong to men is a form of disobedience to God and it's linked to GENDER CONFUSION and this may have been one of the reasons why many girls ended up changing their sex organs because they are now so used to guys clothing, they could as well become guys. I felt lost for a very long time (wearing either man clothes, or jezelbel clothes, thinking these things would make me happy but inside I was miserable). Its so nice to be shown these things. I stopped wearing make up and high heels when I became a born again Christian 8 years ago. I still wear pants especially in winter but avoid the tight fitting body hugging ones. I also stopped listening to secular music and watching Hollywood movies around the same time too .
I used to be old time Apostolic, no makeup, no pants, no jewelry, long hair. I was living for man's approval not God's. When I humbled myself before the Lord and cried out to Him about the bondage I felt, He gave me permission to cut my hair. I wish I had time to give my full testimony. Pray about all things and thank Him in all things. He cares.
Trying to stop listening to metal music is very hard for me. I used to be a guitarist myself for about 15 years. I pray that God will Fix me. I was listening to metal long time before I became Christian and it's hard to let go of the metal music.

@@anaflower5865 I've quit smoking Marijuana and Cigarettes, and have done away with alcohol. Lately I have been working on eliminating Sexual Immorality. Once I quit for 8 months then failed. Now I'm on month 4 of quitting the sexual immorality. I pray that God will help me repent. I'm just glad that I'm saved by Grace but that doesn't mean I'm through trying. A lot of the KJV Bible is about quitting sins. So that's what we'll do. But only Grace is sufficient for salvation. Love you Jesus, for what you have done to help.

Where Christ is glorified and where God's values and the Bible's truth is preached as truth. - I've come to doubts sometimes thinking it's not something worth doing but what you said about the media and how it turns us to evil is exactly why I want to do it. To counter the evil in this generation in media and entertainment. To give children something that will lead them to God instead of Satan.

Truly ,you speak and preach the truth.A month ago, the Lord called me back to him through a video and after that ,I started seeking him.After days,I saw a comment where a lady said that she no longer wears makeup nor dresses immodestly etc so I asked the Lord and revealed this truth to me too in a prayer.
*Note:I asked my grabdma to pray for me.I didn't tell my grandma anything. She lives in another town and I only said please pray for me and let me know if the Lord shows you anything.While talking,she even said I don't know what you guys are talking about since its between you two,[God and me] but this is what the Lord said:
He said that he dislikes the things that I put on my lips, face ,hair(I had dyed my hair) etc.And he said that he has made us the way that suit us, the way we look beautiful,our eyes,lips, nose everything! and so we shouldn't change it.The same day and the next weeks ,the Lord showed me and my sis scriptures about how women should live.And he as been slowly changing and teching how our inner beauty should reflected instead.And that time,the Lord gave a revelation to my sis that we shouldn't look in a mirror for weeks(because we were too conscious about our outer beauty) .And boy when I looked at my face after that,*coughs I really did look beautifully even without anything on.
And I am reminded of the verse, I am fearfully and wonderfully made , too and the verse that says we were made in his image.And if you ever struggle with low esteem, just look at how lovingly he has made us.Each one of us we are unique and special!So, don't ever let the devil decieve you with his lies that says you're ugly.

Thank you for this. I struggle with this as I wear light makeup and wigs. I have acne prone skin and use my makeup to cover my many marks on my face. Your face looks FLAWLESS and the ones who have gave up makeup all I see is that their skin is without blemishes and they naturally look great without it. This is such a hard one for me. Honestly, the lighting makes my skin look better than it is, videos do that. But in reality I have acne, red scars, and big blotchy sun spots. I have big acne that shows up in the middle of my face sometimes.
Ask Jesus to take away your acne and then just take away makeup in faith. I believe He will heal you and give you the grace and confidence you need to be happy with how He made you

Makeup actually damages your face and I think that is what Satan uses to make people not to give it up because he has people using the exact thing damaging thier faces but since it covers it up too, people are hooked plus the demonic influence upon them.
I used to use make up a lot. I loved it and spent good money on it. Without it, my face seemed strange to me but when God delivered me from it, my face looks better to me now and it's been about 3yrs now.
God will take away any blemishes sister. Have the courage to give it up and let him handle the rest. God bless you.
I use to be a singer of secular music and was used to heavy make-up, high-lights in my hair, stilettos, jewellery, tight sensual clothing, etc. It was easy for me to give up secular music and start singing for God when I became a born again Christian (even though I've learnt later, that not all "christian music" is from God either), but I went for about years without giving up all these other things until some heavy conviction by the Holy Spirit. He helped me let go of it one by one. The clothing and jewellery were the easiest, but the make-up was the hardest. I never thought I would go out in public without at least eye-liner. I only gave up make-up about a year ago. The lock-down helped a bit with it LOL. Now that I've given it all up by the grace of God... WOW! I've never felt more free and closer to God than ever!
That was the same time that I gave up alcohol completely. I've always loved my glass of red wine or sherry and kept telling myself that it was not a sin to have alcohol, but only to get drunk and even though I still believe that, it was wrong for me, because the Holy Spirit convicted me about it, because of what others knew about me and what having a glass of wine looked like to them... not glorifying to the Name of our King at all!

I remember as a child God showed me about the hair thing and I never wanted to cut it and my family forced me to and I would always cry because I knew it was my glory and my strength. I am growing up in a Christian church and I have never cut my hair I have never wore any makeup never wore pants and it is SOOOOOOOOOOO REFRESHING TO HEAR EVERY SINGLE WORD YOU SAID. He also asked me why I wore it and of course, women wear it to be more "attractive". I understand now that Jesus in me is attractive, the fear of God in me is attractive not makeup..

Thank you for making this video. I had a heard time giving up makeup and the way I dressed because I was comfortable in sin. I had lukewarm Christian's in one ear and then I also felt it was wrong. But this sin goes far much deeper than just wearing the items of the world. I even got into with my mother because she said I was over thinking it. She was so angry. I felt like asking her why so much hate. Getting closer with god is a beautiful thing. Then I thought the enemy and how I used to be angry with the laws of the bible. There is a reason for these laws. It will benefit us in our salvation
I recently returned to the Lord and have stopped watching a lot of movies , tv, and ungodly music. I stopped wearing makeup and slowly been removing jewelry. Not only that, but I check myself in a full mirror to be sure that what I am wearing is modest. My husband appreciates it a lot. A few sisters in my church have advised me to take baby steps and let God clean me up on the inside. They all have uncut hair, don't wear makeup or jewelry, and they always wear dresses. Amen. What you say about our natural beauty is true. I am 67 and I let the blonde color grow out in my hair a few years ago and now I am grey headed. But anymore, I get so many compliments on how pretty my hair is. I dont know why I was so worried. Praise the Lord, I wish I had done it sooner! I wear modest clothing and very little makeup. I actually get asked if I am feeling okay when I don’t wear make up ☹️ I have really dark circles under my eyes and pale skin. But I dress modestly and don’t do lip stick or crazy make up. But I need my concealer for under eyes lol I don’t think that’s jezebel 🤔
I used to have dark circles all my life, but after I went through several deliverances and stopped wearing make up, they disappeared. Hard to imagine but it changed my life ever since. I feel healthier and I finally have a stable mind. Praise God
I feel like this is a "to each their own" conviction. God sees whats in our hearts. We know what we're doing, when we put makeup on, if its done up in a provocative and seductive way. I hope that makes sense lol. For me personally I don't get my nails done, wear false eyelashes, hair extensions, all stuff like that. Not that they're sinful.

I always used to get asked if I was sick when I didn’t wear it-at which point I just put on my biggest brightest smile and tell them I was great but not wearing make up. And that always shuts them down

A few months after I got married, I complained about my mascara irritating my eyes. My husband laughed and said, “I don’t know why you wear that stuff, you look so much nicer without it“. Lol.
The next day I stopped wearing Make up. It’s been over ten years now and I don’t wear Make up. I don’t even think about how my face looks haha life goes on. There’s no time to waste worrying about how we look.
This is a word from God. Blessed be the name of Jesus for using His servant to send out this word. Recently, God has brought me back to Him and I'm at a place now where I'm seeking Him more and more. It's difficult bcz I have kids and no job, but watching this has spoken to my heart. I'm going to throw out most of what's in my closet, all my jewelry and makeup and trust the Lord to provide modest clothing, according to His will. I've given up watching movies and tracking what my children watch. I'm working on drawing close to God and He will draw close to me. Woman of God, may the Lord continue to use you for His purpose. ❤

I think the jezebel spirit is also in push-up bras. Because I bought a push-up thinking it would fit me better then a regular. No, the moment I put it on I felt the jezebel spirit.
It was so extreme too (I think it was so extreme because the Holy spirit was convicting me.) I felt boastful, prideful, mischievious, and walked different. I even started picking arguments with people I knew that day and thought it was funny, as if I was better than everyone else (I was horrible, please forgive me Jesus). I was aware that this was happening too, like something was wrong, but as long as the bra was on there was no control. I noticed it literally came the moment I put it on.
These are the things that I noticed cause the jezebel spirit:
Any and all make up, push-up bras, manly clothes (if you are female), certain unisex clothes that verge on the guy side, and revealing female clothes or clothes that just are not modest. I think jewelry as well.
I am currently working on trying to figure out what to wear now, please pray for me.

I discarded the push up bra that I bought..the Holy Spirit was seriously against it.
I couldn't rest that whole day, I had to go and buy the normal bra..and I have peace in my Spirit.

If we want to be peaceful in Spirit. Im still fixing my wardrobe. Most my life I wore either guyish clothes or full on guy clothes, and by the end of it all the devil tried to convince me to have a sex change or at least identify as a man. But I knew deep down I was a woman, I was just lost. Problem was when I tried to pick woman clothes a lot of the options at the store looked ...well...for lack of a better word...whore-ish.. so I attracted the jezelbel spirit. Thanks be to Jesus is reminding me of these things. I have been feeling a lot better recently, because the Lord is showing me things in my life.

I have been telling people that wearing clothes that belong to men is a form of disobedience to God and it's linked to GENDER CONFUSION and this may have been one of the reasons why many girls ended up changing their sex organs because they are now so used to guys clothing, they could as well become guys. Jesus is still working with me on how to be a woman of Christ, but its such a freeing experience. It really is. I felt lost for a very long time (wearing either man clothes, or jezelbel clothes, thinking these things would make me happy but inside I was miserable).
Its so nice to be shown these things.

Sister, that push-up bra just enhanced your confidence. Some people indeed have problems with some traits of personality being enhanced, but that doesn't mean push-up bras are evil themselves. The same goes with money or power, for example..
