Nice video. I need to get a fish-finder.
How much weight do you put on live bait rigs? Are you free floating or trolling
Here we are using 2oz straight down. Boat moving very slowly with trolling motor and spot locking over schools.
@@MikeSmedleyOLDSCHOOLSTRIPERS thanks Mr Mike. Been trying every thing but your videos on chiro are really helping me out. Don't have the expensive ones like you do but the lowrance elite 4 chirp does me good. Still learning how to set it up... Ping speed, high, med chirp fishing modes. Lord!! Thanks again!!!!
Where did you get those rod holders?
What were the settings I want to try them out thanks .I also have a simrad system thanks
Ping speed cranked all the way up. Scroll speed normal. TVG-0. gain AUTO. +1 or 2.
Color 39.
Are you trolling, drifting or anchored and vertical fishing? Thanks!
We’re are anchor locked with the MotorGuide trolling motor over schools we find on the fishfinder. We just move slowly with the MotorGuide until we find fish and then lock over them.
How do you like them shimano tekota reels good or bad
Timothy Mcvay don’t really know. I’ve never used them. They are Steve’s.
Do you use an after market line counter? I have 4 rod and reels I would like to add counter to.
drumpearl these line counters are built into the rod, but I have some that clip on to any rod too. They are made by Shakespeare
Oh ok... thanks for the up date. I will look at the Shakespeare line counter. I am currently using the Simrad GO7 and love it. Really glad I went with the Simrad. Great video also... Thanks for the help..
With Regards,
Danny
drumpearl any time Danny!
real question do you get tired of the finder theres no excitment for the hunt. you know exactly what you right on top of
Jermz Money Not really. The videos can be a little mis-leading sometimes for lack of a better word. Sometimes we NEVER find fish at all, or we find them, but they won’t bite. The excitement of finally finding a big school after hours of searching never gets old, especially when rods start bending over. Good question brother! Thanks!
can I get more info on your fish finder please
1nation1life sure. It's a Simrad Evo2. With an Airmar tm150 medium CHIRP transducer.
thank you so much for the response !
1nation1life you got it brother!
@@MikeSmedleyOLDSCHOOLSTRIPERS what's the difference between Medium Chirp and High Chirp?
Was he really complaining about swimming thirty laps? I understand he hasn’t swam in a while but thirty?
Ashtyn Reuben HHHHMMMMM. Help me out brother, I can’t figure out that this comment means.
