      Looks like his signal level is too low that it's not enough to reach the compressor threshold

    Good video, I felt when the hrks were on it didn't sound as full as the SSLs did it almost had more of a tiny sound or harshness to it. Also is the popping on the SSL normal when you turn it on

      Thanks for watching. Though the popping is annoying it's on a lot of hardware sadly. Some units are quieter but as I was going back and forth vigorously you hear it alot more then it would normally happen.

      ​​@@BR_READDY225 really cuz I have the SSL six mixer and I have a ton of plugs from all the major companies they don't do that at all. If my gear was popping like that when bypassing u would assume it's broken or malfunctioning

    SSL Comp meters didn’t work? No lights

      He had basically no level on those to operate.

      Probably because they were having so many quality control issues, left and right.
