I was so excited when you got that whopper of a lobster mate!! I literally jumped in the air like Rocky Balboa at the top of the stairs! Lol ha ha!! This is my new drug...no... it's better... it's healthier, more knowledgeable, so serene, visually appealing on every level ( foraging, fishing, walking, cooking,... everything!lol) ... these have become my "Happy Place" ... so thankful right now... seriously *wipes tears* y'all are there best! Thanks for the sight seeing, foraging, the DIY vids, the live chats, the fishing, the "how to" vids, the knowledge you've shared(I've gotten pretty good now, I can usually name the species before you say it - so proud!) , sharing your friends ( howdy Sam (Chopper) and Inglorious Fishing.. and others), sharing your family (the Mrs Smash, your sister and your Pa.. and others), you've partied with us out and about.. but also.. right at home in the shed... you've opened your world, your home, and your hearts to us and I hope y'all truly know we know the work, the dedication, the vulnerability, and the sacrifices you've made making these lil slice of heaven videos... and WE coz I know I'm not thet only one that feels this way... WE ARE SO THANKFUL
When he poured that hot water @19:15.. Brown crab got disturbed and came out mad, claws out: "Who the..Hey! This is my spot!" Then Smash dumped him with the lobster head for cover.. and for breakfast as well.. fair enough! Hahaha!

With smaller fresh water lobster, crayfish, you can pull off the middle tail fan, and pull out the intestine all in one go, before you cook them. You should try it with the larger lobsters you find. There are lots of crayfish cleaning videos that show how to do it on youtube.

Hi, got a couple of lobsters online line as I live nowhere near the sea. How would suggest cooking? Boil or Grill, or can you boil then finish off under the grill? I know it depends on taste, but just after an opinion? Cheers Steve
Either way works great , what I do at home is boil for 5 minutes when the water is at a rolling boil then cut the lobster in half long ways an cover it in garlic butter then grill it until the butter is bubbling 👌 it’s amazing
Our season is open and I am waiting for 20lbs . I love bigger 3 to 5 lbs ones . I love the meat in the bodies , and most here just throw it away !!! When I am done the crows are mad , not a lick for them !!!! Stay Safe . Love the videos !!!
