Dan's emotions in this always brings me to tears. If you notice he looks up to heaven a few times. This is one of his Father's favorites. Dan and his Father listened to opera while riding in the car. His Father passed in 2017 and never got to see Dan build his dream.
Let’s not forget, Dan sang this in his garage studio, without a professional orchestra. He does all of the music and editing himself. He has said that he spends weeks on his computer putting it all together and doesn’t rest until he feels it’s perfect. He’s amazing.
Singers whose first language is not English often roll their “r”s like that. The English “r” is a soft, somewhat muffled sound and rolling it articulates it and brings it out in the song. It’s also very dramatic.
I just listened to Pavarotti do this yesterday and he is of course the GOAT. However, there is so much more power in Dan’s voice that it is noticeable. And beautiful.
Good singers all have power in their voices, but it's very rare for singers to have such a presence! Dan Vasc producees a wave of sound that's insurmountable, but soft to listen to. That´s is what Dan has. Thank you for your great reaction. 😊
Dear Mr Viking, You are my favourite rectioner (not sure that’s a real word🤣). This rendition renders me to tears it is that good. He, is that good. Dan is amazing in all genres. Keep up the great work 🇦🇺
Dan Vasc is phenomenal. Yes, yes, yes. More Dan Vasc. He feels each song and so do we. Want more chameleon? React to Black Wind, Fire, and Steel with Luis Mariutti on bass. Then his duet with Violet Orlandi on a metal cover of Seal's Kiss From a Rose. It's better than the original, which I loved. Next, Bring Me to Life for the full metal treatment. And go acoustic with Loch Lomond. Each will blow your socks off in different ways. Just explore his over 200 covers and let us watch you discover the power of each Dan Vasc performance. You have subscribed to his channel, haven't you? I've subbed to yours so I won't miss a thing. (Yes, he does Aerosmith.) 😊
His voice, talent and hard work will take him to the world of the biggest world stars! Dan blew up RUclips! The internet is talking about this boy! God given talent! The miracle lives in your throat! .....and the hard work that got him this far! This boy is a real combination of talent, hard work and determination!!!!
I'm thinking of calling it "The Vasc Effect"... That feeling that you can barely breathe and your heart may jump out of your chest. Know what I mean? Dan is a wonder and a blessing.
Oh. My. God. Everything about that man is beautiful. His emotions are out there there for everyone to see and feel. He is incomparable. Thank you for your reaction…
No letting off, hard route rather than backing down one second (there are various ways to sing this based on abilities of the performer). 12+ out of 10 ❤
HI! I recommend Black Wind Fire and Steel, Star Spangled Banner and of course be sure to watch his "apology video" about singing it. Trilogy is another good one, a real heart breaker, sung 5 days after his Dad's passing. The emotion, the expressions, the tears will touch your heart. I love your reaction videos, I've think I've watched each one about 20 times and your videos are the ones I share with my daughter.
Speaking of Dan rolling his "R's", between his native Portuguese and his father's native Italian, there is no way he couldn't automatically roll his "R's", it's in his genes!
Did you notice that he cover 2 sentences with 1 breath?.In Amazing grace as well. Total control over his voice and breathing and emotionally connected to the song
I have never had goosebumps from head to toe during a vocal performance before. He is mesmerizing. He could be a great actor as well the way he portrays emotion.
I have no idea how I've missed ur reaction of this song for so long but it was worth the wait ❤❤❤ u and Dan have that something special when it comes to emotions and I am here for it! Still hoping and praying u'll get to have him on a pod cast some day soon!
Dan shows his emotions openly. In this song in particular as it reminds him of his who passed away who loved opera and he and Dan would listen to Pavarotti and Bocelli in the car together. He did American Trilogy as an honor to his dad who also loved Elvis Presley, it is stunning.
Love you and Dan.... he brings me to tears so often... love your reactions to him... So came back. I love Pavarotti's version but I think I might like this one one a little more 😁 He puts so much feeling to all he does... thanks again... really like all your reactions...
You said it well 👌❣️. Dan Vasc is a chameleon. I couldn't have said it better. There are so many wonderful singers, but I don't know anyone who has the same range as him. And I'm not talking about who can sing the highest, something like that. It's just the whole package that decides. Dan does the whole thing ♥️.
Dan's father was also a musician and gave him the harmonica you'll see him playing in some videos when he was 7. It was his first instrument. Dan's mother was an opera singer but despite this great musical pedigree it took him a while to decide to pursue music professionally. I am delighted that he did! Since you enjoyed this video you might want to also check out Fearless, Dan's heavy metal band. Their first album, Chronicles of Ancient Wisdom, is available via Dan's homepage. He has stated previously there will be new music coming from Fearless and a recent post by a sound/recording engineer talking about putting final touches on Fearless recordings leads me to believe that may happen in the not-too-distant future so keep checking Dan's homepage and/or any of the other sites he lists on his videos. Enjoy!
Loved your reaction to Dan's rendition of this beautiful song! He is one of, if not the best, male vocalist I've ever heard! Not just because of his beautiful vocals, his presentation style- you can feel the song not just hear it, the production style, all which enhance what he is bringing to the song. He is a phenomenal master vocalist!❤
He has the same look in his eyes as when he sung American Trilogy for his dad just after he died. A definite connection with the music. Have you watched Gethsamane from Jesus Christ Superstar? I am not at all religious but his interpretation and theatrical performance is OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! Nana Karen UK
Thank you for your great reaction to Another one of Dan's brilliant performances. As a HUGE fan of Dan's I just love watching people discovering him and all his perfection.
I personally don't like opera, but in this case, I ❤it. Love the voice, emotions, and tears. 😢I love to watch others react and I can tell you really loved this. ❤😂😊
Dan Vasc is awesome! I am a fan. Watched almost all of his videos on RUclips and he does NOT disappoint. Plus he’s attractive and very intelligent. He seems to be a down to earth, hard working guy.
LOVE your reaction - this is one of my top 5 of Dan's. I listen to it ALOT! I can tell how moved you were.....glad I'm not the only one just in awe and mesmerized by this masterpiece!
Like I’ve said…opera to metal and all in between! He is Awesome! ❤️ He has a song for all moods. Love this side of Dan! So glad you reviewed this! Your comments were great as was the review…like you said..Perfection! Keep the Dan train moving…🎶🎶🎶
Your reaction was exactly the same as mine when I first heard him do this song, goosebumps and chills. Someone coined the phrase, "The Dan Vasc Rabbit Hole". Well, I certainly fell done it, I love everything I have heard him sing. Loved your reaction, it was so spontaneous and real. Thankyou.
It's so amazingly beautiful and so sad as you see Dan gets emotional near the end❤ reminds him of his dad his Italian heritage, and is very proud of that❤ thankyou for your amazing reaction ❤
I read somewhere that his Mother sings opera. Dan can sing anything. Soooo talented with a beautiful voice. I’m a huge Dan fan. ❤ Great reaction. Listen to him sing Phantom of the Opera and Gethsemane. EPIC!!
Hey Viking, I'm here again ;) Dan's performance was, absolutely magnificent. Bravíssimo 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Dan's version was very emotional, loved it!!! I would like him to sing Core'Ngrato, Caruso and Amapola. It would be incredible!!! Thank you, once again, for your honest and authentic reaction and analysis, always 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Big hugs 🇧🇷
Hi, I'm not a metal fan. But I now have a lot of respect for the singers. I listened to Nightwish and therefore Floor Jansen here on RUclips. For me, David Draiman's version of "The sound of silence" by Disturbed is so much better than the original. This shows me that at least successful metal singers have good vocal training or are natural talents. And now to Dan Vasc. A great voice that has a very pleasant, warm tone to my ears. I'm impressed once again. Thank you. Have a nice day and Greetings from Germany
This version seems warmer? More depth than Pavarotti treasured version. Plus, did you notice his attack/approach is stronger? In areas where he could have backed down vocally to rest he went the hard route. Beautiful.
Dan's emotions in this always brings me to tears. If you notice he looks up to heaven a few times. This is one of his Father's favorites. Dan and his Father listened to opera while riding in the car. His Father passed in 2017 and never got to see Dan build his dream.

As a true virgo.
Goosebumps every time, what a vocal range and presence
He soothes my soul. Always.
His tears are from his heart because the song has deep personal meaning to him. So unbelievably beautiful.
Just learned about his parents' musical background but despite that I'm convinced he's a millennia talent.
I love Dan too!!! I just found him!!!
He sings with his soul.
Bravo, Bravo! My favorite aria. I can't imagine anyone hearing this and not falling in love with it.
Singers whose first language is not English often roll their “r”s like that. The English “r” is a soft, somewhat muffled sound and rolling it articulates it and brings it out in the song. It’s also very dramatic.
My God Jesus..it is awesome..amazing Dan.❤❤❤
I came across Dan Vasc music not to long ago. I SIMPLY LOVE HIM!! This man has a beautiful gift from God and he is using it as designed.❤❤
I love hearing him sing this song. It is incredibly beautiful.❤❤❤❤
Bravo, Bravo, Bravo 👏👏👏
I just listened to Pavarotti do this yesterday and he is of course the GOAT. However, there is so much more power in Dan’s voice that it is noticeable. And beautiful.
❤❤❤THANK YOU FOR METAL AND OPERA❤❤❤
More Dan Vasc, please.
This was Dan's father favorite song.. you can see how emotional Dan gets in performance!
Good singers all have power in their voices, but it's very rare for singers to have such a presence! Dan Vasc producees a wave of sound that's insurmountable, but soft to listen to. That´s is what Dan has. Thank you for your great reaction. 😊
So GREAT singing this sounded like Pavarotti, DAN IS WONDERFUL, POWERFUL, & BEAUTIFUL. THANK YOU FOR GREAT REACTION
Dan is a beautiful soul with an other-worldly talent!❤
Dear Mr Viking, You are my favourite rectioner (not sure that’s a real word🤣). This rendition renders me to tears it is that good. He, is that good. Dan is amazing in all genres. Keep up the great work 🇦🇺
I just love dans voice he can sing anything and the emotion that he puts into his music
Dan has such an amazing voice, that was so beautiful and heartfelt. I loved it. Viking I love your reactions to Dan's voice you're so awesome.
Omg he's fantastic.
I think he's got Pavarotti beat on this one. His depth of talent knows no bonds. As you said it was GLORIOUS!
Chills. Every time. It doesn't matter' how long it has been. Chills. Every time.
Dan can sing anything and do it perfectly. This is one of my favorites and I cry everytime I listen and watch him
He did that last part twice, which is quite rare!
I love this guy. Most amazing voice I’ve ever heard ❤️
Dan Vasc is phenomenal. Yes, yes, yes. More Dan Vasc. He feels each song and so do we. Want more chameleon? React to Black Wind, Fire, and Steel with Luis Mariutti on bass. I think there was a point when you and Vasc were both close to tears. 👍
I used to hate this song but Dan knocks it out if the park. I love watching him and he is so handsome!!!
The world stops when I hear this! Hail to the master, Mr Vasc!
Dan had tears in his eyes towards the end. He knew that he had won 👍👍
I have tears in my eyes as well. And I don't hardly cry.
I'm thinking of calling it "The Vasc Effect"... That feeling that you can barely breathe and your heart may jump out of your chest. Know what I mean? Dan is a wonder and a blessing.
I think Dan Vasc could sing the dictionary or encyclopedia and bring me to tears!👏👏👏
Oh. My. God.
Everything about that man is beautiful.
His emotions are out there there for everyone to see and feel.
He is incomparable.
Thank you for your reaction…
I am totally wrung out. All my emotions are gone, flying away on his last note.
Never known a male singer who could make cry every single time!! Dan is THE man!!
i will say this tho Steve perry in his younger days melted me totally
I liked your reaction. You show so much enjoyment when you watch a singer. Dan’s performance and technique create an epic experience.
Thank you for your awesome reactions to Dan’s rendition of Nassum 😊Dorma, which is out of this world beautiful tenor voice.
I cry every time I hear Dan sing this. I don't mind you playing it over. Thank you!
No letting off, hard route rather than backing down one second (there are various ways to sing this based on abilities of the performer). 12+ out of 10 ❤
The man's voice is phenomenal!! However, watching your face, sir, was priceless ❤

I came back to this again. My heart always breaks for him. He misses his Dad so much. This has aways been a favorite song for me.
Speaking of Dan rolling his "R's", between his native Portuguese and his father's native Italian, there is no way he couldn't automatically roll his "R's", it's in his genes!
I love the beauty of Dan Vasc's performance! I also love your reaction! Perfect, both of them! Thank you!
Damn that guy can sing and so charismatic as well. Love your reaction❤
And here I thought Vikings didn't get emotional.
I love listening to him! He is the best! Goosebumps eveytime I listen! ❤
I love you Dan... I just love you 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤
Simply Amazing! Never seen anyone do covers better than the originals. He can sing any song.
I have no idea how I've missed ur reaction of this song for so long but it was worth the wait ❤❤❤ u and Dan have that something special when it comes to emotions and I am here for it! Still hoping and praying u'll get to have him on a pod cast some day soon!

Noticed the tears
I literally think he the best vocalist in the world!!!
I totaly agree with you ! 😊
Loving that you now have a playlist of Dan reactions, just enjoy your reactions so much.
Regarding breath control, there is his Black Wind Fire and Steel ft. Luis Mariutti
That's my favorite.
Excellent reaction! Keep the Dan reactions coming!
Just watched your reaction again. Enjoy it more every time. Your emotion is so sincere. Like you I cry every time. The man is a genius. 😢
That is the most beautiful toxic masculinity I have ever seen!!!
Dan never disappoints. Always rises to the occasion.
Love you and Dan.... he brings me to tears so often... love your reactions to him...
So came back. I love Pavarotti's version but I think I might like this one one a little more 😁
He puts so much feeling to all he does... thanks again... really like all your reactions...
Beautiful xxx❤
Goosebumps never stop with Dan, absolute beatyful and breathtaking ❤🤘

To hear some more diversity from Dan, check out his cover of The Music of the Night from the Phantom of the Opera.

Dan is a very emotional performer.
Strange because he's always disavowing emotions during interviews .
But he cries in not a few performances 🤣🤣😲
This was brilliant!

First time I heard this cover. I'm speachless. Dan Vasc: You are the real deal🤘
❤ Dan so much
It looks like this was very emotional for Dan. I don't think there is any type of music he can't sing.❤
Dan Vasc is awesome! I am a fan. Watched almost all of his videos on RUclips and he does NOT disappoint. Plus he’s attractive and very intelligent. He seems to be a down to earth, hard working guy.

There’s really not much to say. The reaction suited the performance!
It's so amazingly beautiful and so sad as you see Dan gets emotional near the end❤ reminds him of his dad his Italian heritage, and is very proud of that❤ thankyou for your amazing reaction ❤
Yes, it really shows! And so he should. Pride in our history and our heritage is important :)
