Dude this is so real!!! I've already had 2 of these, the first one had a problem with the adaptor which made the left side of the headphones die. And now in a 1 year span, the second one died aswell because of the adaptor AGAIN. I'm activating the warranty on my reseller and I'm getting some new headphones. It's a shame it ends up like this, these ones look amazing, had so much potential.
Thanks for sharing. I have problem with the Adapter too. I think is broke. I cannot even adjust the sound settings on the computer itself (its stays and stuck at 0 level) while the adapter is inserted. No sound, no mic. If I use the jack to the sound hole without the adapter, the headphone is normal; but no mic. At least I am not the only one with this problem. So my HS60 is scrap other than headphone use only.
I’ve had this headset for almost a year now and i never experienced these issues, well because i don’t use the mic. I use it as a headphone only and for that purpose it work very well. The only problem i’ve had is that the right earcup is literally falling apart. Thats the only issue i’ve had
Mine just became unusable today, after 2 years and 3 months. Audiowise it is still marvelous, but the left hinge support just broke up and it is sticking INSIDE and poking my temple. It was fractured for some while, but today it just gave up. And also it is all sticky (due to the rubber surfase "desintegration") and peeling off (due to the fake leather wearing out). I had already replaced the cups early this year, because besides the usual peeling of the fake leather, they "unglued" and fell appart from the attachment. I have replaced with a new set made of fabric, instead of fake leather. I think two years as a really SHORT duration. My previous one, a Logich G-200whatever lasted WAY LONGER than 6 years before I gave up using it
My Adapter seem broke. I can't hear, the volume control on the computer stuck at 0 level and won't let you adjust. The mic don't work either. Even with tinkering with settings, HS60 is a scrap. The only thing that does work is if I don't use the usb adapter and just plug the jack into the audio slot; but you can't use the mic.
Yeah i prefer razer, ive had my kraken x for over than a year now its still solid i use it 12 hours a day everything works fine it just depends how you take care of it
@@misconduct6845 I completely agree. Had an OG razer kraken for 5 years, it was still really solid condition and I gave it to my parents. They did not take care of it well and earrings ripped the cuffs within 6 months lol
My adaptor stopped working correctly. I hear weird noises and I can't game with the headsets because I usually play multiplayer games and I need to talk to my buddies.
Love Corsair but their quality assurance suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks! The problem is they, like 99% of other companies, get their stuff produced in China where quality standards are super difficult to maintain.
The main issue with this headset was, that the earpad part just ripped open, like the glue part was just horrible. After i ordered a replacement, it came in 1.5 times smaller. It really hurt the back of my ear because i wear glasses. I dont recomend it, unless someone knows a way to fix the problem.
My friend has this exact headset and when I play games with him he is always having issues. Sometimes he cuts out mid talking and I have to fill in the blanks. He even sounds like you!
Well, I'm experiencing the other side. You lose the mic randomly and I lose the audio output. How frustrating is that!!!! I regret buying this... Corsair sucks!!!!
Thanks ! I saw a discount on Amazon the price is 50$ so sound good I love corsair too but now I will find another one because I need mic like you in gunfight :D

I've only used it for a little bit, but after reading many reddit posts and after watching your video, I'm probably gonna return these if the store I bought it from is okay. I was gonna buy the HS50s, but since they were out of stock, I decided to buy the HS60s (which I thought was the non-pro model) instead. sadly I'm having the same connectivity issues just like you did. I wish I saw your review before I bought this disappointing headset on a black friday deal on Amazon. And just like you experienced I was losing audio and mic in the middle of the game due to the dongle and it troubled me in business meetings too.
@@Swashed_ I'll try to get it repaired or replaced by Corsair Support as it's still in warranty but I'd rather have a refund as it's already the second time I've sent it in for repairs. You can get a split cable, which will allow you to connect mic and audio ports separately
