    For the price of this projector, it gives the best performance (clarity, brightness etc.) and you get a MASSIVE 300" real estate. My only recommendation would be to wall mount this in your own setup. Awesome to see the price of high end projectors coming down and being more accessible. What would you guys watch on 300"?

    To 300" you need a wall of 22' x 14' (feets) or 6.5m x 4m (metros)
    But for a 100" screen projection you need a screen or wall with more than a 7.38' x 4.1' (feets) or 1.25 x 2.25 (metros)

  • @Gribs11
    @Gribs11 3 года назад +18

    Title is clickbait. First, you don't even test this projector on 300" screen/wall. Seconds, image from this projector at 300" will be really bleak.
    You see, specs say that it can produce such big image because projector lenses could focus the image on right distance. But when you spread 2700 lens over such huge area it will not be good. Moreover, to get 300 inches you need at least 28 feet between the projector and screen. Oh, and 12 feet high ceilings.

    I just bought this projector from LG over a week ago and it is amazing! This is my 3rd projector in 15 years and my first Lazer projector. For those who comment on the washed out look or lack of black level and contrast that can be fixed using the endless picture adjustments. The picture at night is out of this world and during the day it's like having a 120 inch led TV, so bright! And the fact that it has web os is another home run. Yes the price is hefty considering that there are many projectors at a more affordable price but not one that has Lazers! Don't believe me try looking 👍

    Karl, great review. I still prefer UST. I love having my screens just a few inches from the projector. 300 inches is insane. VAVA, LG, EPSON and Hisense have great UST projectors.

    • @tiagojordao4105

Checkout WISA (tech that enables wireless speakers) so you can use speakers from say Klipsch, Bowers and Wilkens, Enclave, etc or you can also go Sonos.

      While I agree with you since I own an OLED, this projector shows great shadow detail and awesome grayscale. When you watch a movie on a 110 inch screen or larger it's very immersive. Just think of it this way, do you pay to go to the theater?

    • @tiagojordao4105
      @tiagojordao4105 3 года назад +1

      @@kman9387 No matter what the projector is, without a proper room, it's not going to work that way. An ALR screen will help, but it's nowhere near what an OLED can do. Having said this, most people will be impressed by the 110" size and will be more than enough pleased with the tricks ANSI contrast plays with their eyes. I prefer projectors too, but I would never choose a setup like this over an OLED TV.

    • @kman9387

      @@tiagojordao4105 completely understand. As to me OLED is king I still love the theater experience when using my LG hu810p. Even though my living room is not stub your toe dark it still has quite a puch for picture quality. But one thing is for sure Samsung is realizing that they are not fooling many with QLED that's why they are buying OLED panels from LG.
