    The safety locks got closer together in time after it got higher. Somethings not right? Not level, cables not adjusted properly or cable stretched and need adjusted?

      +WhiskeyRiverRifleman I agree. Guys with 2500 or 3500 series diesel trucks should buy at least a 10k. We merely shot this video to prove that the lift was indeed strong enough to do it.

    The only thing that holds the lift to the concrete is 6 bolts on either side?

      gravity and the weight

      They actually required a minimum of 15cm concrete 250lbs per square inch. I threw 45cm 300lbs per square inch cement should hold even the 12k no problem

    Hello
    I just bought the 9000 AC Asymmetric lift but my question is....why would mine come with straight 2 stage short arms instead of curved like I see on this one? My front arms definitely dont look like yours.

    • @RedlineStands
      @RedlineStands  4 года назад

      If all your arms are straight two stage arms then you didn't get an asymmetric lift, you got symmetric. If you bought it from us, please email pix so we can evaluate what has happened.

      Is it possibly a true asymmetric lift meaning the columns are turned?

      @@RedlineStands I bought the lift from Koi Auto parts. The manual says it's a Titan HD2P-9000AC Asymmetrical clear floor lift. And they are 2 stage straight arms. I took pictures also. Even all the labels on the lift say its asymmetrical. So I'm really confused.....

    • @RedlineStands
      @RedlineStands  4 года назад +3

      @@sullie35 Man I'd say you should contact Koi. I didn't sell you the lift so I really can't say what you received. I can tell you this though. If all four of your arms are identical, it ain't an asymmetric Titan...

      @@RedlineStands the front 2 are shorter then the rear guessing by 6 or 8 inches but they are not curved...I thought the front 2 were supposed to be curved.
      Is it possible the titans are straight but not curved?

  • @sullie35

    Why did you not have the lift adjusted properly so the locks would be in sync.

    • @RedlineStands
      @RedlineStands  4 года назад +9

      So this is a double edged sword. Neither is right or wrong. If they're adjusted in sync, then you can't hear them both. If one lock fails and sticks in the open position, you might learn about it the hard way. However, if they're slightly off from each other, then you can hear them both, and you know to continue raising the vehicle til you hear both. I prefer the later of the two, because that way I know with absolute certainty they're both engaged.
