Just wanted to say thank you for posting this. My husband and I had given up (literally--I called for an pro installation), but I decided to give it ONE more try after watching this video. I ended up finishing all the rods (76 of them!) by myself. Canceled the professional installation. :) Thank you!!

That is absolutely awesome! That was our whole reason for making the video! So glad it helped!

Started building mine yesterday, was seriously struggling to get the rods into the housing with three of us so gave up halfway thru. Watched your video this morning and did the rest in about 10 mins on my own using your technique so thanks very much for posting it.

Did you do the rods in any particular order? I’m trying to just do them one at a time beside each other but it is not working very well.

Thanks for this video! Have you ever had the tabs/sockets move in after they were out during the installation process? We had them properly out and then we noticed three have gone in.. we’re trying to figure out now how to move them back, trying to uninstall but the tension is hard to get the rods out. If we manage to start over… Any idea how we can prevent from the tabs going in again? (When we started they were out but as we moved onto other rods they started moving in)

Good morning! I don't know how similar the trampolines are but If you can stop the video at 39 seconds you can see the blue tab location. It is just after the corner where the edge begins to become straight. If that makes sense. We did one rod at the 8 locations on either side of the four round corners. Then we did the next set of 8 rods to the right of the first 8 rods. Then we did the third set of 8 rods to the left of the first 8 rods, and then continued to follow the same routine.
Hard to explain with words. Let me know if you have a follow up question. I hope this helps!

So sorry I just saw your question. I believe we did one at each corner. And then we did one more next to each of the first 4 rods in each corner and then we just kept repeating the process doing one more at each corner until we got them all in place.

    how are you feeling now?
it's been 7 months since your health update.

Thanks for asking. Overall pretty good, but after weaning myself off the Flecainide for the last 7 months I did start just start taking it again 4 days ago as my breathing had been feeling more labored again. I still stay super active, but I just haven't felt quite right since having Covid 14 months ago- just really weird. We have also been super busy with life (7 Grand Children now) and Ann had another stress fracture and I'm fighting a hamstring strain from lifting so no new adventures planned at the moment, but we would like to do a major hike for our 40th anniversary next year. Maybe something around the Grand Tetons if we can both get and stay healthy and if we can make some time for it. Best wishes.
