The woman’s name, Fanny, in this song is referring to their old housekeeper who cleaned their studio. They told her they were going to put her name in one of their songs. The boys mentioned this in an interview. Concerning their “sound” they were signed to the company the Beatles were signed to when they moved back to the UK from Australia. They were just teens. The Beatles had already made their splash in the music world. Bee Gees were younger, very much enthralled by them, partied with some of them, and Maurice was very good friends with one of them and was gifted a Beatles guitar. There is so much musical history with this group. They were and are way more than just a “disco” group.
Not only were the Bee Gees one of the Greatest groups ever, but they wrote and produced almost every number one hit they had, and they wrote songs for other Artists as well. They were so talented, LOVE them.
"Wish you were here" is the song they wrote for little brother, Andy Gibb, who died just after his 30th birthday in 1988. They only rarely performed it because they all broke up when singing it. Too painful. Love these guys. At the moment my favourites are For whom the bell tolls, Blue Island, Love so right, Inside out, Nights on Broadway and To love somebody. Next week it will be another list. All of their songs are phenomenal
My fav Bee Gee’s song. Their range, harmony and song writing skills are second to none. Musical geniuses that simply ooze talent. Love Barry’s chest voice in this song. Mo rocking that bass and the pink shirt and Robin’s voice like velvet as always. The Brothers Brilliant never disappoint.
Robin’s vocals in this song are amazing, he’s high he’s low. It’s the battle of the falsetto between him and Barry and then Mo with the harmony. Love it and them!! ❤️
They became super popular because of the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack, but their older stuff was so much better. "I Started A Joke", "I Can't See Nobody", "Words", "Massachusetts", and "Saved By The Bell" are some great songs. They were more "folksy" before the disco stuff.
This song was released around the year 1975.These talented Gibb brothers performed this song in such amazing live version 😮😊❤...they written it themselves.amazing....❤❤❤
I had completely forgotten this song and to me it's one of their bests. Someone in the comments said that they still get chills and i got them also. Great group and catalog of music.
All three sing lead. Barry mainly sang lead for the so called "disco" era so is better known. Prior to and after that (60's and 80's onward) Robin sang many leads and Maurice also did a few. My favorite voice of the three was Robin. Often Barry and Robin sang in unison but the camera was usually on Barry for his looks. All three were great songwriters. Many of their songs were written primarily by Barry and Robin together. Maurice was the master musician who put their songs to music. Robin and Maurice were fraternal (not identical) twins. These brothers started singing since the twins were @6 and big brother @9. They wrote over 1000 songs for people like Barbra Streisand, Kenny Rogers/Dolly Parton, Dion Warwick, Celine Dionne, Diana Ross, Olivia Newton John, &c. The dueling falsettos @9:12 between Barry and Robin, each going higher, is amazing. The youngest brother, Andy, did NOT die of an overdose although had previously used drugs and was clean but died at 30 of a heart infection, myocarditis.
Wish You Were Here Bee Gees ~ Wish You Were Here, Lead vocal by Barry Gibb. Written a couple of weeks after Andy Gibb's death, in March 1988. This song was dedicated to him. "Wish You Were Here" from Bee Gees' studio album "One" released in April 1989 (August 1989 in the United States) 👍🏻🤩🏴
My favorite Bee Gee's song, this one is special and a lovely song. It shows all of their ranges. Fanny wasn't a popular name in the 70's, it was rare and unique.
One of those artists that I didn’t appreciate when I was younger and they were releasing these songs. I do appreciate them greatly now. My favorite track is Nights On Broadway. But they have so many great tunes.
Loved the reaction Paul McCartney and Quincy Jones thinks this is one of the greatest R&B song ever written. This song was never done live because of the complexity of the layers of harmonies. Fanny was their housekeeper in the studio in Miami and when they were writing the song Mo said they should add a name of a lady and Fanny walked in.
Their harmonies are awesome. The vocal range is much greater than you might think. They are famous for the high vocal.harmonies. it is Barry, Robin and Maurice. The younger brother was making waves in the music scene when he suddenly passed, Andy died in 87 or 88 if i remember right.
Andy Gibb, the youngest Bee Gee brother died of Myocarditis at age 30. His heart was weakened by long term drug use. He was a singer in his own right. Please react to Andy, who sings a great song called "I just want to be your everything".
Barry Gibb was the hottest guy in the industry woman loved him and men wanted to be him. Paul McCartney, Lionel Richie, Barry Gibb to me was the best song writer of my lifetime, period. His music makes you want to be part of it. Sir Barry Gibb and his brothers the Bee Gees might be the best band ever and I'm into Rock go figure.
You've only begun to scratch the surface with the fabulous Bee Gees. Here is just a sampling of their songs to do: The kiss of Life, The Only Love, Just in Case, One, Living Eyes, Blue Island, Heartbreaker, Love you Inside and Out, Lonely Days, Rings Around the Moon, Alone, For Whom the Bell Tolls
The Beatles do a three-part harmony and so do the BeeGees, so it makes sense they remind you of each other. This is my favorite BeeGees song because of the layered harmonies. 💜💜💜
5 decades of hits, in the late 70s they dominated the airwaves. And for a time had 5 of the Top10 songs on the charts. The Beatles were the only other group to have done that. You might also like You Should Be Dancing.
I remember when their debut American single came out in the Spring of 1967 'New York Mining Disaster 1941' people thought it was the Beatles. There were rumours that the Bee Gees were the Beatles recording under a pseudonym (Bee Gees = "Beatles Group").
Love your Bee Gee reactions. Here’s a list with my interpretation of what genre I think they fall under: I know you’ve reacted to about 4 of them, so disregard those! Too Much Heaven (R&B) How Deep Is Your Love (R&B Ballard) Staying Alive (disco) Night Fever (disco) You Should Be Dancing (R&B or disco) Fanny be tender with my love (R&B) Jive Talking (R&B) Nights on Broadway (R&B/Funk) Tragedy (Techno? Pop) More than a woman (Disco/R&B) Love you inside out (Funk/pop) To love somebody (R&B) Massachusetts (pop/country) Wind of Change (funk/r&b), live 1975 from the Midnight Special) Alone (pop) Love So Right (R&B) Words (pop, 1979 Spirits Tour) Lonely Days (pop) You Win Again (pop) Run to Me (pop) How Can you mend a broken heart (R&B) Kiss of Life (rock) Rest Your Love on Me Awhile (country) Bodyguard (R&B) The 1989 One for all tour medley (excellent vocals & some humor) If you want to see them (the Bee Gees) and how they work in the studio try: (A) the making of their song "Tragedy" from 1979 (B) The making of the song "Just in Case" (C) The making of the video "This is Where I Came in" from their last cd in 2001 Some that only the avid Bee Gee fans might know that you might want to react to: My Lover’s Prayer (pop ballard) Letting Go (pop ballard) Subway (R&B) You Stepped Into My life (Funk/r&b) Children of the World (pop) Search, Find (pop or R&B) Songs written by Barry Gibb (that other artists sung), alone or with his brothers (Robin &!Maurice Gibb): If I Can't Have You (Yvonne Elliman) Woman in Love ( Barbra Streisand). In fact, Gibb wrote every song on her Guilty CD, and did 2 duets with her. And he did most of the background vocals on a lot of the songs. Islands in the Stream (Kenny Rogers & Dolly Partons). In fact, Barry wrote all the songs on Kenny's "Eyes that See in the Dark" CD Heartbreaker (Deion Warwick). In fact, Barry wrote every song on this CD too. The Bee Gees also did the Background vocals. Chain Reaction (Diana Ross) and yes, Barry wrote all the songs on this CD too. Barry also did the background vocals. Immortality (Celine Dion) The Bee Gees also sung background. The live 1997 from Vegas is excellent! More Than a Woman (Tavares) Love Me (Yvonne Elliman) Come on Over (Olivia Newton John) Emotions (Samantha Sang, with a lot of background vocals with Barry). Destiny's Child also recorded it. Grease--from the movie (Frankie Valli) Heart Beating in Time (Leo Sayer) Let me wake up in your arms (Lulu), who use to be married to Maurice Gibb A lot of Andy Gibb songs (Shadow Dancing, Everlasting Love, Love is Thicker than Water, Our Love, Don't Throw It Away; Desire;)
Three brothers, two of them Twins, singing together since 6 (Barry) and 4 (Robin/Maurice) years old. I know of no other group that has harmonies like the Gibb Brothers. They turned it into their signature sound. There are many very good ones, but none better.
1) "Fanny" was so complex with dubs and overlays they shied away from performing it in their concerts. 2) It's Bee Gees' drummer, Dennis Byron's, favorite BG song.
I saw the Bee Gees in concert in San Francisco in 1979 during their Tragedy Tour. It was an amazing show. I was a huge fan then as a small kid and still am today.
They are harmonizing the high and low parts. Maurice said on the you know how easy it is to hurt/break me that is Barry &Robin singing in unison almost makes a third voice.
This song Fanny Be Tender is one of my favorites! I think it is better than How Deep is your love! Barry, Robin & Maurice were are the Bee Gees. Andy was their younger brother who died at 30 from heart failure. (complicated from long history of drug use).
Love this song from their great album Main Course. The falsetto adlibs on this song were mostly Barry, which is one of the reasons why they never performed this song live: too many layered adlibs by especially Barry. The BeeGees were: the tallest and oldest brother (with the big hair and beard), Barry Gibb, born September 1, 1946, the only surviving Gibb brother. Robin Gibb (with the long hair, no beard), born December 22, 1949-passed away May 20, 2012, and Robin's fraternal twin brother Maurice (the balding brother with the beard, pronounced "Morris") Gibb, born December 22, 1949-passed away January 12, 2003. They also had another, younger, brother Andy Gibb, born March 5, 1958-passed away March 10, 1988. The three oldest brothers were born on the Isle of Man (UK). Oldest brother Barry got seriously burned when he accidentally pulled boiling tea over himself at 18 months old. He was in coma for a while, nearly died and was in hospital for many months. Because of this, he did not learn to talk until after the twins were born. Later the family moved to Manchester and from there they emigrated to Australia in 1958, right after Andy was born. All 4 brothers are just natural musical talents. All of them dropped out of high school in their early teens and none of them could read or write music. All their compositions were created completely organically. Their musical career, which they had started as little kids, didn't lead to international success so they moved back to the UK in 1966. Then they had a string of big hits, until they temporarily broke up around 1970 for 15 months. Started back up, looking for a new sound which they first found in 1974 with the transitional album "Mr. Natural". After that "Main Course" was the first album that moved them into a new direction: more rhythm&blues, dance music like with great hits like Nights on Broadway and Jive Talkin' (and was also actually the first album on which their logo was introduced). From 1976 on they went all out with falsetto driven dance music which lead to their biggest commercial success as they provided classic songs for the Saturday Night Fever Soundtrack (1977 Stayin' Alive, How Deep is Your Love, Night Fever amongst them). You should react to the 1979 live version of Stayin' Alive, too ruclips.net/video/7niXSh7vWRI/видео.html Other great songs to analyze: great album tracks from the 1979 Spirits Having Flown album, the title song: ruclips.net/video/WH_j90fCIk4/видео.html, the outrageously beautiful song Reaching Out ruclips.net/video/vfHUS5Mf00Q/видео.html. Maybe a fun-fact for you: The name of the band is a short cut of Brothers Gibb, B.G's, so Bee Gees...... 🙂They have sooo many hits, and they wrote soo many hits for other artists.
The Bee Gee’s loved the Beatles. The brothers are from oldest, Barry, the twins Maurice & Robin, the youngest was Andy, he was like 12 yrs younger, he had a soloist career, with help from his brothers. Andy died from myocarditis, a heart infection which caused his heart to fail, his lifestyle probably contributed to his heart problems. However it was not a drug overdose! He was going to join the Bee Gee’s, he died before that could happened. The brothers were so tore up over it they couldn’t even work right away! Barry and his brothers were talented composers. Barry even wrote the title song “Grease”
They played Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club band in the movie with Peter Frampton and Robin sang the hell out of Oh, Darlin' in it which was released as a cover single.
The youngest's name is Andy Gibb. Successful solo career, with amazing support from his older siblings..Gone too soon. Pls check out Andy's "Shadow Dancing", "I Just Want To Be Your Everything", "One More Look At The Night", "Everlasting Love" and "Our Love (Don't Throw It All Away)".
I have been a Beegees fan since the early 70s. I was fortunate enough to see them in 1978. Maurice’s name is actually pronounced MORRIS I know a lot of people get that wrong. These brothers have been together since 1958, and they are in my opinion, the best singers and songwriters that have ever lived. I’m a little bit obsessed. I spend a lot of time on RUclips, watching interviews and RUclips videos of their older music. You need to listen to some of their very old stuff from the 60s like to love somebody, also holiday, and New York Mining disaster. They have written every single song they’ve ever sung. They’ve wrote over 1000 songs, including music for other artists, such as Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton, Celine, Dion, Dionne Warwick, and Barbra Streisand. They only did that because after the I hate disco era where they blew up vinyl records that were considered disco. The radio stations were told not to play anymore Beegees. It was a low time in their career and very suggested we got to get out there so let’s just write music for other people, and then that finally faded away, and they started Coming out with some really good music after disco. Barry kind of gets aggravated that people consider them a disco band because that was a three-year period out of almost 60 years of singing together. Watch their documentary called Hiw deep is your love. Btw. That song was not written for brother Andy. The song they dedicated to him was Wish you were here. Great reaction ❤
How deep is your love was dedicated to Andy at a concert after his death. The song Wish you were here was written for him after his death in 1988. Maurice is the twin with the beard and Robin was the other one. Andy had his own successful career but was much younger. Barry announced Andy was going to become a BeeGees in January but he passed in March before it actually happened in 1988. There is a clip of Andy singing You should be dancing with them. Mo was the king of bass. All 4 had phenomenal vocal range and harmonies were off the charts.
The Best Bee Gees was before and after they had their Disco Success. You want to hear Robin doing "I Started A Joke".... "I Can't See Nobody".... "And The Sun Will Shine".... what a voice.
Fanny the House Keeper was a middle aged woman at the time they knew her apparently so that shows how long ago the name was popular. Fanny was short form of Frances.
Maurice is pronounced Morris (also nicknamed Mo). Barry is the tall one, Mo the bass and keyboard player, and Robin usually stands in the middle. The youngest brother was Andy, 12 yrs younger than Barry. Just Barry and his sister are still with us. She could also sing but chose to not be in showbiz.
One time, early 1970s, when Robin temporarily went solo, Barry and Maurice had their sister Lesley perform onstage with them. I've seen photos. But I've never found any audio recordings of those performances. Andy, sort of Barry's younger twin in looks and voice, was a solo artist. Sometimes performed with the Bee Gees but was never an official member. I've heard that he was on the verge of becoming a member (maybe so Barry could keep a closer eye on him), but it was too late. He passed away a few days beyond his 30th birthday. Here's a tribute song to Andy that they did in Vegas during a 1997 tour. Video footage, with a mixture of live and prerecorded audio. ruclips.net/video/-XKPU1MHASU/видео.html
About sounding like the Beatles-- The Bee Gees spent 7 years or so of their early childhood in Manchester-- so regional accents are shared with the Fab Four, as some have brought up. Then the Brothers spent 1958-1967 in Australia before they returned to try their luck in their native UK narrowly making that British Invasion, Flower Power era. They got snapped up by NEMS, the Beatles' management company and the second in-charge guy-- Robert Stigwood-- signed them within several weeks of their landing in London to a 5-year contract! Stigwood wanted his own "Beatles" to manage and Fate obliged. The rest is history! I can almost guarantee you'll enjoy one of these, judging from your other BeeGees reactions: "Love You Inside and Out" (funky R&B) "Love So Right" "Nights on Broadway" (funky R&B)
The “Brothers Gibb” were Barry and the twins Robin & Maurice (pronounced Morris). They had a younger brother, named Andy who did a solo career (although many times with backup vocals from his brothers). He was the first to pass away and then the twins , Robin first then Maurice. Barry, the oldest is the only surviving brother. They have 1 sister Leslie who only sang with them once, for a live concert when they had a disagreement beforehand. She has always preferred to stay out of the “limelight”.
New Gen X subscriber. It's funny, I was around your ages when I too first discovered the true greatness of the Bee Gees. I was an 80s new wave punk rocker. 🤘 🤭 I humbly recommend Night Fever (the John Trevolta, Saturday Night Fever version 😎.) It would be a great segway into their more upbeat stuff. Rock on. I love your energy. ❤
It's amazing that they sound the same live as the recordings. I love all of their songs but have narrowed my favorites down to 141. Fun Fact: None of them ever learned to read music.
You definitely want to check out the younger brother Andy Gibb, who was a big star in his own right. By the way, the two middle brothers Robin and Maurice were twins.
The Gibb bros are literally a world treasure!
They are The GOATs
My favorite song!! Love the Bee Gees 😍
Over 50 years of hits…This will remain my Favorite!!
Bee Gees Live is so important to see who you are “hearing”.
Trump should be belting this tune to Fani Willis!
The Gibb Brothers sang with ONE VOICE. Nobody else like them, or ever will be again.
Still gives me chills 45 years later.
Same here!!
They had a lot of hits, but I think this is their masterpiece.
Try, Tragedy, it's amazing, all in falsetto!
100%
Agreed. I'm a big fan of Jive Talkin', but this beats even it.
I agree.
Too much heaven
The woman’s name, Fanny, in this song is referring to their old housekeeper who cleaned their studio. They told her they were going to put her name in one of their songs. The boys mentioned this in an interview.

There is so much musical history with this group. They were and are way more than just a “disco” group.
I've just never seen anybody write The "Beetles" before! 3 times! Ok, never mind.
Amazing that Barry is ONLY three years younger than the late George Harrison. Seems like a decade
Maurice's gift was the amazing bass lines he created. Jive Talking too.
And Mo's harmonies and ability to put Barry and Robin's compositions to music.
That run of that bass line……..it’s brilliant!! Love Maurice ❤❤
Maurice Gibb, bass player extraordinaire...love the tempo of this song
On a fretless bass no less! How does anyone do that?
“Massachusetts” is one of the most beautiful songs sung with the hauntingly amazing voice of Robin Gibb.
Great , great song!!!!
Pretty sure Fpr Whom the Bell Tolls was also about Andy. Another favorite.
My favorite is Words. They wrote it when they were very young and it has stood the test of time as an amazing love song.
They are so dam good love this tune
Greatest group of all time
This song is so killer I can’t believe it’s not more famous 🙌
At this Song you can heare how they can switch there Voices like nobody else. I love it so much. 🕺🥰👍
Jive talking by bee gees ❤
The Bee Gees ave been around since the 1960s the falsetto sound really took hold during their disco era
This. Was a Bee Gees masterpiece one of many brilliant songs they. Have produced
Just can't beat their harmonies no one comes close
My fav Bee Gee’s song. Their range, harmony and song writing skills are second to none. Musical geniuses that simply ooze talent. Love Barry’s chest voice in this song. Mo rocking that bass and the pink shirt and Robin’s voice like velvet as always. The Brothers Brilliant never disappoint.
This is such an incredible song. Quincy Jones once stated this was one of his favorite R&B songs of all time.
The bass line in this song is awesome!
The Bee Gees had a hit in the 60’s called “Lonely Days” that was often mistaken for the Beatles. It’s a great song!
Robin’s vocals in this song are amazing, he’s high he’s low. It’s the battle of the falsetto between him and Barry and then Mo with the harmony. Love it and them!! ❤️
Love the BeeGees..:: endless hits

I prefer all of their eras EXCEPT disco. Just not a style I liked. Dancers liked it.
I don't know if their older stuff was better, but their popularity increased tenfold after the movie soundtrack.
Yes. I love their older songs. I use to listen to them on my older brothers 45 records
One of my favorite Bee Gees songs
Yes!! Plz do massachusetts. My fave B.G. SONG😁
This song was released around the year 1975.These talented Gibb brothers performed this song in such amazing live version 😮😊❤...they written it themselves.amazing....❤❤❤

The youngest brother, Andy, did NOT die of an overdose although had previously used drugs and was clean but died at 30 of a heart infection, myocarditis.
Thank you! I was goin to correct them that Andy did NOT die of an overdose! He was clean and sober when he died.
Barry also sang with Michael Jackson’
They were so much MORE than Disco!
Wish You Were Here
Bee Gees ~ Wish You Were Here, Lead vocal by Barry Gibb. Written a couple of weeks after Andy Gibb's death, in March 1988. This song was dedicated to him. "Wish You Were Here" from Bee Gees' studio album "One" released in April 1989 (August 1989 in the United States) 👍🏻🤩🏴

Old song but not being boring till now, the lyrics, the music, their voices.... Wow and wow....
Best of the best from the brothers. Never again.

Love Maurice!!
Excellent reaction!!! Barry going nuts with the Falsettos in this one, although they can all hit the Falsettos.
Great dueling falsettos between Barry and Robin @9:10.
The best example of their singing voices is in the song Massachusetts! 🙋😃👍
Thanks for another Bee Gees reaction! 👍
It was 50 yrs ago when I saw them live (Andy too), when these songs came out, and I have always loved their music. It NEVER gets old. Great group!
Andy Gibb, the youngest Bee Gee brother died of Myocarditis at age 30. His heart was weakened by long term drug use. He was a singer in his own right. Please react to Andy, who sings a great song called "I just want to be your everything".
Fanny is a song the three dedicated to their nanny.. named fanny.. so cute

I bought the Main Course LP yonks ago and I was blown away with the album. This song is one of my favourites from them.
I can remember waking into the bar and this song always would be playing on the Jukebox.
You've only begun to scratch the surface with the fabulous Bee Gees.
Here is just a sampling of their songs to do:
The kiss of Life,
The Only Love,
Just in Case,
One,
Living Eyes,
Blue Island,
Heartbreaker,
Love you Inside and Out,
Lonely Days,
Rings Around the Moon,
Alone,
For Whom the Bell Tolls
Thanks for that great Bee Gees reaction. Please react to a fantastic R&B song by The Bee Gees called LOVE YOU INSIDE OUT. ❤❤❤
My favorite is "Alone". Please react to that BeeGees song. You get to hear Robin's amazing vocals more in that one.
According to Maurice Gibb, producer Quincy Jones called "Fanny" one of his favorite R&B songs of all time.
just a great "feel good" song... the vocals are beautiful and soaring..
You should listen to some of their earlier songs like, "Massachusetts", "Words", "I've Got To Get A Message To You" or "I Started A Joke".😁
"I started a joke" live in Melbourne in 1989 is the best!
The Beatles do a three-part harmony and so do the BeeGees, so it makes sense they remind you of each other. This is my favorite BeeGees song because of the layered harmonies. 💜💜💜
Andy was the baby he died in1988 at age 30. Robin, maurice and Barry sang together.

Songs written by Barry Gibb (that other artists sung), alone or with his brothers (Robin &!Maurice Gibb):
If I Can't Have You (Yvonne Elliman)
Woman in Love ( Barbra Streisand). In fact, Gibb wrote every song on her Guilty CD, and did 2 duets with her. And he did most of the background vocals on a lot of the songs.
Islands in the Stream (Kenny Rogers & Dolly Partons). In fact, Barry wrote all the songs on Kenny's "Eyes that See in the Dark" CD
Heartbreaker (Deion Warwick).
More Than a Woman (Tavares)
Love Me (Yvonne Elliman)
Come on Over (Olivia Newton John)
Emotions (Samantha Sang, with a lot of background vocals with Barry). Destiny's Child also recorded it.
Grease--from the movie (Frankie Valli)
Heart Beating in Time (Leo Sayer)
Let me wake up in your arms (Lulu), who use to be married to Maurice Gibb
A lot of Andy Gibb songs (Shadow Dancing, Everlasting Love, Love is Thicker than Water, Our Love, Don't Throw It Away; Desire;)
Three brothers, two of them Twins, singing together since 6 (Barry) and 4 (Robin/Maurice) years old. I know of no other group that has harmonies like the Gibb Brothers. They turned it into their signature sound. There are many very good ones, but none better.
My favourite is Run to Me..
This is their best song…..by far! Nothing else ever reached this level. This song was so complex that they could not sing it live!!!!
Of course they could sing it live which is what they're doing here.
@@suzanneprock7286 lol no there not
@@jettsteari3062 Yes, I think so.
I love them, but they are terrible lip sync'ers@@suzanneprock7286
Wish You Were Here was written for youngest brother Andy who died age 30.
Can't go wrong with a tender Fanny.
Love Robin! The one in the middle.... try I started a joke...
Robin and Maurice (pronounced Morris) are the twins.
I was going to say this too! As Maurice was British it would be pronounced Morris rather than the quite American pronunciation Maureece.
Main Course is my favorite album of theirs. With Still Waters a close second.
Maybe a fun-fact for you: The name of the band is a short cut of Brothers Gibb, B.G's, so Bee Gees...... 🙂They have sooo many hits, and they wrote soo many hits for other artists.
Their mothers favorite recording of theirs. Quincy Jones said they were the best he had ever heard with the R and B feeling going on.
Their singing changes over their decades
My favourite Bee Gees track
They played Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club band in the movie with Peter Frampton and Robin sang the hell out of Oh, Darlin' in it which was released as a cover single.
Their younger brother died of a heart condition due to drug use, but he had been clean for some time before he died.
All 4 had phenomenal vocal range and harmonies were off the charts.
ok! yall are quickly becoming my favorites! this song rules! yes Andy Gibb was the youngest brother he was so talented and so tragic!
Love hearing that! :)
Nights on Broadway, studio version
Samantha Sang Emotions written by the Bee Gees

Mo
Very cool!
Mo said they never do this live. He said with all the layers are a. Bitch to do live. 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶. Great song, great guys. ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
😂
New Gen X subscriber. It's funny, I was around your ages when I too first discovered the true greatness of the Bee Gees.
I was an 80s new wave punk rocker. 🤘
🤭
I humbly recommend Night Fever (the John Trevolta, Saturday Night Fever version 😎.)
It would be a great segway into their more upbeat stuff.
Fraternal twins obviously 😊
