Hiya, your videos just get better and better. Perfectly placed music. You have shown me there is so much of London I have not yet explored. Great video. Thank you for sharing. Have a great Sunday.
Really interesting video Darren. So eerie, quite scary but had to keep watching. Thankyou for sharing. Going to brace myself to watch the video you done on Jack the Ripper. 😊❤️
Enjoyed that Darren ,have walked past previously but will call in now on my next trip to London and that fab Turkish restaurant you and Lee went too .. you guys are giving me great inspiration for London
Wow another amazing area with so much history. Thankyou for these types of vlogs and thankyou for appreciating the forgotten history people just pass by day by day.
Lol..Catching up on all your south bank of the river vids! Weirdly I walked past this exact spot 2 weeks ago and I CAN’T believe I missed Borough Market!! Only means 1 thing Darren …gotta go back! Thanks for taking the time to take us around The Clunk, music was very fitting! I’m away to search for any more videos I’ve missed!
So I was thinking, lovely… nice bit of Gregorian chant music to start how scary can this be? Dear me! 😱 we certainly wouldn’t want to be around in those days, those poor souls. The old Judge was harsh and heartless sounding wasn’t he? Phew! I think after that a glass of wine in the Anchor would have been most deserving. Again, another enjoyable but scary watch. 😀 Thank you 🙏🏻
Hi Darren. Siobhain mc Guinness. Here again. . Wow.. love historical buildings. . You do vids justice. . Love it. Man alive that's eery. Probably spelled wrong but. Hey .. 😊💕
Another great one. I imagine we have all heard the term "going to clink" but now we really know what that was about. I also guess Clink is nothing like it was in those times. Very eerie place but great filming once again. Excellent choice of music.
Another great vlog thank you Darren, I wonder how many spirits are hanging around in that place?? 🤔 Could use Some of those restraints on the yobs today lol x
DJ, going through you older videos at the moment so I don't know if you will get the comment, this was interesting, spooky, historical, factual with great narration and background music(good job I'm watching in the daytime😂)Cheers mate and take care✌️🍸
@@DarrenJohn I'm glad you saw the well deserved positive comment 👍 your last sub total I saw was 4.9k! So close buddy, martini's on Macmaster, just has to be a live celebration 😂 good luck to you and see you in the next one✌️🍸🍻
I really appreciate you training your camera on the text signs mounted next to the exhibits. So often in these kinds of videos the host passes these things too quickly to read. Fascinating place!
300 years of my family in that immediate area, my irish gt x 3 grandparents came there to may pole alley, by the crossbones graveyard. long gone now. that bishop of winchester was an evil piece of work
@@DarrenJohn me too, im always down some rabbit hole of history! Doing my ancestry has been such an amazing thing, i recently discovered the bare knuckle pugilist richard humphreys was my 5th gt grandfather

Thank you so much
So now I know where the term 'throw him in the clink' comes from. Always thought it was slang for prison cell.
It makes you embrace history doesn't it Tony 👍
A brilliant one! but where was the ducking stool?
Thank you Tricia, ducking stool would of been opposite The Anchor pub, along the river side
Have been to the clink, is a very spooky place, apparently the building is haunted!
Great little hidden gem
Another interesting vlog big up mr john
Thanks Mark 👍

lol the entrance of the museum is like the entrance of a theme park haunted house
👍🙂
Off the CHARTS good day out Clink on it
Great place to visit
We visited. It's alright but not worth the £8 entrance fee as nothing is original except for a wall and it's a very short tour. 1 and done.
the clink prison in London...
it's like Azkaban!
Great museum
Very haunted place is the clink
Wouldn't call it the best as its not very big. Its ok but doesn't warrant a 2nd visit. Museum of London is the best.
