- Black 5 locomotive 44871 has clocked up some miles over the last few days. Here she is heading back up to Carlisle after hauling a train from there the day before. Unusually for steam going into Leeds station to reverse direction and pick up passengers.

Very nice. The train looked quite healthy leaving Leeds. Sadly lost half an hour on the climb to Blea Moor. You can't have too many Black 5s !

Great video, always best being on the opposite platform at Leeds. Nice shot of the 66 luckily not when it was setting off. Just the 331 being awkward at the end.
Yes things worked out good today No blocked view like last time with Tangmere and a bonus freight, I did not know that was due. The 331 really could of messed things up, as it turned out it made a good contrast to the old and new.
