That stuntman of Rasputin is a dancer from Georgia. He does the moves taken from random Georgian national dances. He is not russian and nor the moves and dancing is "russian". It is Georgian!
Georgia got only around 30 years of own history. Before it was a part of Soviet Union. And the Russian empire before it. Actually, almost all countries place Eastern from France are just "Russia"
the dance is absolutely Georgian (the country) and i think when you make a movie you have to know exactly from where are the elements and dancer who is teaching actors how to dance, not to hurt the feelings of the nation to whom it belongs. its ridiculous to say that its Russian. Welcome to Georgia 🇬🇪🇬🇪
These are NOT Russian dances. These are Georgian dances and no, it's not the same. Both stunt doubles (Lasha and Bachana) are trained Georgian dancers. One would assume the film Director would remember as much.
