This episode was an absolute blast! Being from The Netherlands I do not get most of the Midwest geography and the idea behind it, but I love the joking around and the way you two bounce off eachother and the callers.
@@brandonmazur8977 Hunting and owning weapons is strictly supervised in The Netherlands (can't speak for Belgium). You see it less and it's frowned upon, but there have to be some for sure.
Love it. I'll never forget the first time I got a phone call while hunting and I answered, doves flew in immediately. My buddy and I let off quite the volley, I wonder what the person on the other end thought.
Carrie in Red Deer is probably the only person in town that is NOT weird. Also she seemed to be very intelligent and playful, so I can imagine what the others in the area are like.
Oh holy crap.... ditch chicken.... That was the absolute best, most midwest bit in the show's history. $200 for super-corn-case of Busch. 2nd most midwest thing on this show. Akin to me for the first time seeing the pony keg of 1919 root beer in the c-store fridge - Ope, getting that!
New subscriber here from East Tennesse. Stumbled across you guys on a tic Tok video of all things but loved some of the advice you were giving people like the, “planning your 21st birthday, too 5 tailgating things and of course the new one on the guy shooting “ditch chickens” while on the phone. Lmao “BOOM” on I only need 2 more for my limit, lol loved it
love you guys!!! I watch you guys all the time!!! From RI and I am traveling to Wisconsin in a couple weeks to see family hopefully I get to bump into you guys!!!
On my dating profile was a photo of myself at 11 years old, wearing socks and sandals sitting on a bench with Snoopy at the Mall of America. It was always a winner with the bois of the Midwest!
When one of the callers said that some of the Midwest states aren"t really in the Midwest, i was sitting there thinking Southeast Missouri. (that's where i'm from) Its a huge mix of southern and midwest. also this is probably the best podcast ive seen
The fun trips i took as a kid the local taverns and my folks got really crazy races or boating the classic pull your kid behind a high speed boat and waiting for the air they get.
Watched the video that he talked about, and the ride he had his phone out on had me laughin’! Definitely worth watchin, just sayin. I grew up on my parents family farm and y’all remind me of the guy talks I’d sit through. My dad will have been gone for 3 years now in December, and I just have to say thanks for these guy talks. Takes me back to the good ole days… 💛
Everyone I knew growing up called it the MegaMall. Not sure where it came from, but it was what we all called it. No one would ever say Mall of America.
I was born and raised in MN, and we called it the mega mall too, so definitely not just a NoDak thing. But I'm gonna be calling it the Magmum Mall from now on lol😂
Haha as someone from northern MN I can relate about yearly trips to the cities. Valley fair in the summer and then Christmas/ school clothes shopping and that it.. 612ers and the city itself can only be taken in small doses.. cidiots trying smh 🤦
As a Montanan, raised by some south dakotans and married to a north dakotan, I'll join in the midwest. We save the ditch chickens for the slow days, but many a bird has been shot 3 steps from the open truck door in a stubble field driving out to the brush patches. We have some great areas, it's deceptively hilly, looks flat compared to the mountains in the distance but enough elevation you can stalk animals and not just walk shelter-belts. Can't give up the mountains though, snowmobiles on the flats gets way to boring, and may as well just give away the dirtbikes.
I'd say southwest PA could count as the Midwest of the northeast casseroles yup deer hunting yuuuup and of course more corn stalks than people and watch for deer is a official goodbye round these parts. Plus we have a sandwich with fries and slaw on it. So in conclusion I hope you will consider us to add to your list.
51:25 should always mention that cow tipping is cruel as sometimes when they hit their back it paralyzes them and they never move again and they have to be put down when found like that, sadly they might go for days like that before someone gets to them. Don’t tip cows guys!
Calling in and putting the hosts on hold to shoot a pheasant might be the most Midwest thing to ever happen.
Lol it was fake, dude.
@bestsnowboarderuknow you're not the best snowboarder. You're fake, dude.
@@bestsnowboarderuknow no it wasn't bud
My fave podcast in the game! Small town, working class shenanigans! From a Scottish fan 🏴
This may have been the best one yet.
53:34 for ditch chickens
Thank you!
Thank you Toaster
Thanks, you're a saint 🙏
@@MrAwesomeSaucem you’re a saint

Carrie is an absolute gem. Please let sniffin stools be the next Toledo bit.
They could definitely get a bit in with that topic 😂
Oh man that Canadian lady was actually hilarious.
I had to listen to Charlie’s laugh at her question lol!
USSR: Urinal Shipping and Shit Receiving. I lost it😆😆
Not sure how I found this, but it's like a PTSD flashbang of growing up in the midwest in the 90s. Nice dudes.

you went huntin for doves?
@@vpd1453 dove hunting is a favorite past time for many Americans, opening day is a big deal in many states.

I'm from Madison Wisconsin and I love this, you guys are awesome
51 minutes in, you gotta love the kids in the back rockin the mullets.
The fact he claimed the Midwest had more mossbergs and ammo than the rest of the US is so funny as a southerner
Maybe mossberg is a midwest thing and we as southerners dont get it?

At 6:15 I really resonated with the talking in roundabouts. I hardly ever give exact numbers on stuff just in case I'm off!

Found the ditch chicken short and now I have a new podcast to listen too
The old people in the back just wondering what the hell is happening 😂

Are you guys coming up to the Chippewa Valley anytime soon? Love to come belly up with yous guys.
Would love to call in and talk to ya fellers here from Michigan lol
Charlie you’ll be happy to know snakes and lizards also have two wieners and alligator are always erect hahaha edit: they are called hemipenes
I swear I just saw Charlie at the outpost in bayview. Looked tired like the rest of us on this cold day.
You just can't say fleet farm without Miles saying "we love it". Wouldn't be the same
Does the greater midwest outside of Minnesota not really know about ValleyFair?
Great episode!
I just finished up a DUI and nothing has ever been such a pain. Very expensive and time consuming
Fleet could be a kitty 😺 name
The way Charlie talks.. his accent... I'm Miss Illinois...fyi 😘
Just so we're clear, all of Nebraska is in the Midwest, yes?
I would've love to go to a manga mall lmfao 🤣🤣
sniff some stools and watch out for deer.
How about YB for a kitty name!
This one was great! 😹

Oh those are the you betcha guys!
Another good name for a kitten is davenport
You guys should do a podcast at the crackn shack
You could name of those cats "Ice" short for the Ice-mahal
Myles should do standup
Illinois born, Live in South Carolina. No way Midwest has more ammo than the south.
How do I call in on one if these?!
Born and raised in the Midwest. Ohio is definitely NOT Midwest.
The easiest test for the Midwest: do you have Leinie's Original or Grain Belt? If neither, you're not the Midwest!
What a hoot guys
Buddy from south dakota you might be spending way too much time with the pheasants if you're gonna say michigan isn't mid west
How do I call and when!?!
