Love the show guys, I’m from DC, I ended up goin to Marshall to play ball, spent 5 years out there and this pod just makes me think of the wholesome people out in WV, definitely not Midwest, but that the closest this city boy got…
11:00 i had the exact same surgery as the caller...problem with it the wound is left open and it has to naturlaly close...so you have to have gauze packed into the wound and x2 a week the wound has to be cleaned. So they have to pull the gauze out and clean the wound and then repack the wound....the recovery is about 3 months or so. At least mine was. I wish him luck
about the cyst thing: it's called a pilonidal cyst. it can be genetic, my family gets them. I've had a few although not in a long time, my brother still gets them. they are very painful, you can barely even stand up. the last time I got one, I basically just had to lay on my stomach for days, because bending over or standing up is almost impossible. it's not just "in the crack," it's actually on your tailbone, which is why it's so painful. my grandma has surgery to remove something down there. the last time I got one I was fed up and went to the ER to have to drained, ever since then I haven't gotten any anymore. my brother is terrified of that stuff so he just suffers, but getting it drained was the best thing I ever did. btw when I got it aspirated (they basically just slice it with a scalpel), it has so much pressure it literally shot across the room and onto the wall. the liquid is a disgusting thick purple and puss mixture that smells like death. if you don't get these cysts count yourself lucky, they are debilitating, and even though sitting and being overweight can exacerbate them or cause them to show up, there can be genetic component as well. they suck.
You’re spot on. I don’t get pilonidal cysts but get genetically predisposed to getting cysts elsewhere (including surgeries to remove them). Can’t imagine one on the tip of my crack. Unfortunately the swass he previously complained of is a major culprit. Hope the guy is healed and it doesn’t come back!
Another great podcast! Way to sniff out the BS Miles!😂😂 The butt puns were flowing Charlie!🤣😂 Prayers for Elliot's(?) surgery. Hope all goes well!🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
As someone who is forklift certified firstly watch Claus the forklift driver. It's everything you need to know about forklifts. Secondly, that piece of paper is the start. You've still gotta have your wits about you
It sounds like he has a pilonidal cyst. I found this out by having mine removed 3x, 3rd time being a charm. You inherent the gene as to whether or not you will have a pilonidal cyst. I found that out to be very interesting.
As an aircraft mechanic, when you’re hanging jet engines with a forklift, you should be certified with at least a hands on test. I’ve worked at a couple part 121 places that needed forklift certification, and a couple of 135 operators that do not trust many people to stab a jet engine.
I guess if I won the roast in the meat raffle but that's a lot of roasts if everyone has one. The only question now is pork or beef, I remember my first surgery I broke my wrist when I was fifteen and my mother knew I had it scheduled, but she had to work. I had to catch a bus and check in . But in hindsight I felt very scared because it was a cut screw and immobilize .end of the day it went well. But I don't advise anyone to do it alone if you can help it because your mind will mess with your head. Not everyone has both oars in the water.
Dudes surgery is minor, and outpatient. The recovery depending on where it is, maybe dicey, he will spend a good deal of time on his stomach, my guess is it is a distant memory now, but what he remembers is the recovery, not the surgery.
The first time I used a forklift my boss basically gave me a run down of this does this and that does that. Good? Ok send me up and drive slow. It did have one of the people baskets on it
I know I'm late to this video, dam guys no need to beef on the Mafia! I guarantee the Bills Mafia can convert yous! Through all the crap we've been through, it's shown that we have been some of the most loyal fans in the NFL
pilonial cyst. it will need to be lanced and then treated with antibiotics. once its calms down the sinus track will need to be surgically excised. one of the most foul smelling things you can possibly imagine
I'm a fellow Midwest guy from Caseville Michigan right up in a very tip of the thumb snow apocalypse was a joke we got an inch of snow now your boys y'all need to be drinking some two hearted ale that's some good beer whats more Midwest than q good beer with a fish on it right there I drink that oh s*** I'm drinking right now and I'm slowing my words religiously also got to go to the king of beers Budweiser Busch light cmon are unon diet light 🍻 beers for women
You don't need a certification for a forklift I used to operate industrial size forklifts down in South Carolina and lumber mill stacking Lumber 50 60 ft in the air it was cool except I was the only white guy all the rest of Mexicans so I can never talk to him on the radio LOL
This is why the internet was invented
Is that sarcasm or are you being serious kind of hard to tell over a message/comment?
@@matthewbenton6739 he's being serious. Because of the Internet we can relax with some Midwesterners and belly up to the bar.
Golly! I’m so glad I’m watching old episodes!!! These are Gold!
The “swass” caller talks like Bob Newhart 😂
Guess what… my dad has been forklift certified and has worked for fleet farm for over 30 years now.
Legend
Idk who I love more; Charlie or Myles 😂❤😂❤
Whats a fork lift?
Mostly food 🤭
Merry Christmas boys, much love from England 👍
I think Myles just cured my anxiety with, "You're not that special." True. 😅
You know it's a good episode when Myles starts wheezing with laughter

I've startled my partner, and the dog with laughter multiple times, now I have to deal with that, thanks very much. ;)
Officially my favorite podcast
I was running a lift for almost 2 years before they certified me 😂 they just kept saying "we need to get you certified" 😂😂😂
All jokes aside, solid business idea. Can even get the You Betcha and Ope merch

Oh geez! So sorry you ever went through that. Glad you got it resolved and I pray you never have them again.🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Another great podcast! Way to sniff out the BS Miles!😂😂 The butt puns were flowing Charlie!🤣😂 Prayers for Elliot's(?) surgery. Hope all goes well!🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I would listen to these guys talk about anything together
You guys are hilarious!
I had a cyst removed. no issues. A bit scary going in to the procedure but it was a breeze.
We need a live live coverage lol
We know someone at OSHA heard this guy talking about forklift training and will be making a stop at his place of work😂
I need to go retake my forklift certification and call in. It expired during the pandemic never renewed it haha
Real Midwestern women know how to pee off a boat, canoe, or deer stand. That's something that guy can teach his daughter 😂

legends, happy holidays

Funny enough, Washington state has a forklift certification class that takes 6 weeks.
You gotta buy the anathesiologist flowers.
"your gonna eat those words miles I'm gonna serve em to you." Not a Packers fan myself but I know not to count them out.
Cheers from California well done boys
Would absolutely love to be in Charlie’s family that sounds fantastic
Yes. It'll be like when Seth Myers brings his family on during the holiday shows.
For real. Can you imagine the hilarious chaos?! 😂
You guys need someone from Minnesota on here
From Ya boy down in st Lou, thanks for drinking our cold brew✌🏻

How and when can I call in?
Secret finish traditions peppermint cake
When can I call in I have been fork lift and man lift certified multiple times and would love to offer some insight lol
My friend has a cyst on his ass crack and he let it go too long so it's definitely better to get it sooner than later guy
I used to be the instructor that certified forklift drivers.

I'm loving it.
1:06:28 I worked for Yale and ny dog’s name is Yale ❤
If it's a pilonidal cyst. The surgery is pretty quick n easy. But the recovery process is boring, sore n slightly disturbing.
Well Charlie how is bills mafia treating you so far?
Need some beef jerky too
Dudes surgery is minor, and outpatient. The recovery depending on where it is, maybe dicey, he will spend a good deal of time on his stomach, my guess is it is a distant memory now, but what he remembers is the recovery, not the surgery.
Something here stinks and it's not the cyst
I want to move to Milwaukee
The first time I used a forklift my boss basically gave me a run down of this does this and that does that. Good? Ok send me up and drive slow. It did have one of the people baskets on it
And no no surgery. One puts your legs in the forceps and then pop - lance…. Whish lol men in forceps 😅
My dad had a similar issue. That’s how he met my mom. She was the receptionist.
Any other forklift operators watching this episode?
Every child should be instructed in gun safety, they should learn to swim, and how to be safe in a car and boat.
What’s the phone number?!

You also don't need to inspect your car in SC...that used to freak me the hell out
