World Heart Restart Day October 2023

In 2022, Medisaver Vincent suffered a cardiac arrest at Clapham Junction Train Station in London.
Today is #RestartAHeart Day. Every year 30,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests happen in the UK. Sadly, less than 1 in 10 people survive. Early CPR and defibrillation can more than double the chances of survival.
#RestartAHeartDay actively promotes the use of public access defibrillators and highlights the inequality around accessibility to defibrillators.
