Who was your player of the tournament for the New Zealand team?
Pledger looks one for the future
Pledger by a long shot! Without him they didnt really click. Very unfortunate France just happened to have the game of their lives in that semi.
Pledger.
None of them pretty weak need scrap that whole team and the coaches
Get Wayne smith back
Nobody.
Great game and tenacity from both side fighting till the end. Can see many years of entertainment ahead from these groups
Well done, lads. Nice way to finish the tournament. NZ Improved immensely from last year.
We'll take the win. These Irish lads are the business. Closer than the scoreline
Shuddup
Shardarp 😂
If we sent our best players then what?
I thought NZ dominated the game, particularly the 2nd half. The 2nd 5 for NZ is a class act.
What sort of business...losing business 😊
Some beautiful tries both ways there 👍🏾
No matter grade, gender or competition. NZ is always holding it down for the Southern Hemisphere. Unlike South Africa, NZ is good in all competitions.
And they get away with spear tackles again which was a clear red (none of this 20 mins rubbish, its foul play) and the try that was "grounded" wasn't. Not even Irish but fed up of dodgy refs.
@@secondhalfcomebackwomp womp
@@secondhalfcomebackNZ has had their fair share of dodgy calls against them that's for sure. It's amazing what they have achieved considering what a small country it is
After being at 6s & 7s in past World Cups, have to be very content with Bronze..Irish displaying hearty resolve to the end
U20 rugby today is as good as - or better to watch - than the senior teams. They build them bigger, faster and more rugby mature today. Impressive competition. Really enjoyed it. Well done to England, France, NZ and Ireland!
HAWK EYED IRISH..loved it challenge..less gooo
Some redemption but a timely reminder for these young guys to not get ahead of themselves in the rockstar position.
Just because they lost a game doesn’t mean they think they’re the top dog or have inflamed egos 😂
@@Harryja They lost the tournament.
@@fu8713 what?
@@icefarrow7959 Please provide an example where I said they claimed they are the best. Oh that's right you can't.
The NZ under 20s have definitely have improved. That Irish team was good team.
Most of the French team have already played top level professional rugby.
That French team is very well drilled team.None of our boys have played top level professional rugby.
The NZ’s attacking play is good. The defence was not good, especially in the backs.
Too many missed tackles!!
That one kid, Tito Harris, has been playing for NZ 7s for a while now.
We need to eat more concrete in defence with some of our backs. Forwards have been doing both including cover tackles.
@@senseisaitama8684 7's footy is not 15's bro - no comparison whatsoever.
I'm sorry did he say... "Collins" as a unit with bleached hair storms his way to the tryline 😢
Yeah, That hit me in the feels too!
Thank for a brilliant game.
Amazing how big these guys are for U20's!
Great game well done NZ
awesome win boys
Just too good!
what a game!!
Красавцы!!👍👍
Looks like the usual big crowd and great weather that they have had throughout
Yep, that’s the boys.
Congratulations
Lets be real here, the 20 min red card is Fing disgusting rule. How the AB No. 11 is allowed back on the pitch and score 2 trys after that should be seriously looked at world rugby. nearly broke the guys neck.
It was never upgraded to red which is why he came back.
If it was upgraded to a red, nz would’ve been able to put another player on after 20 mins but not 11
If the ref had given a red straight out without the review, nz play with 14
Those are the facts
😢😢😢
@@loki_mischief10 yes think he has really misunderstood the rules. 20 minutes red cards are needed to help rescue the game from the health and safety madness of our age
@@harbourhavenmadness? He nearly broke his neck
@@GreeBoman it's not tiddlywinks. And, yes, madness. With refs regularly handing out red cards because of the modern health and safety laws there are far more red cards than there were in the past. So, the move to 20 minutes for a red card and the player not being able to return is the best way forward. Prevents games being ruined while also punishing the offending player.
Hurry up & get on with the game!
No
Exactly. I'm a die hard All Blacks fan but man, there's no need for the haka to be in the highlight reel
If only there was a way to skip ahead in a video or something.. ah well, shame such a thing doesn't exist.
@@icefarrow7959 easily. Just tap twice on the video on the fwd side and it will go forward 10 secs, same as going backwards
Mean bruthas 💪💯🔥👌
Good win for the Kiwis, well played also Ireland. World Rugby has a lot to answer for in 2 years in a row having SA host the event and both years in Capetown a month of rain and appalling conditions that happens at this time of year, so many other venues in SA or even in Northern summer venue, could have hosted. As for each game having empty stadiums thats an embarrassment for the hosts SA, not just these final games but for the whole tournament. Well done all the teams but a pathetic effort in venues, crowd support and overall mediocre run tournament. Congrats to England on winning the final over France
So second try of Ireland should have been a penalty try for the high tackle, plus a yellow card. First try of NZ wasn’t clearly grounded. No way that can be given. Disgusting clear out by NZ 11. Shouldn’t have been on the field. If I was Irish, I would be pretty disappointed with the officiating
Waa waa waa 😢
Call the waaambulance
But NZ won by a big margin 😂😂
Commented on this earlier (and I see the usual NZ children are out with silly comments). Quite agree with you - some very dodgy officiating and when a ref cant see a spear tackle for what it is then they shouldn't be on the field. NZ very good which bodes well for their future but Ireland didn't get any decisions. Anyway, its only two poxy islands in the Pacific (great Scott Johnson quote)
@@secondhalfcomeback go and have a cryyyy😂
Three, actually. And there have been no recorded cases of the pox for a hundred years. @secondhalfcomeback
That half back is amazing! All blacks one day
Yellow card against seven was ridiculous. Never offside, if he was it was marginal, so why card him?
the stadium are empty, its a shame ....
20 min red card is a joke
It's a joke if you can't take advantage of 14 players against 15 for a long 20 minutes
I just think Ireland secretly like losing to Nz lol their superiors 😂
Who heard the Irish player cry “ ow my shoulder” 🤣🤣🤣
❤
Well played kiwi boys.
Ireland - the perennial chokers of rugby world cups at all levels 😁
Not sure its a true reflection of the Ireland teams at the moment. Beaten by better teams on the day does not mean you choked....
You would think New Zealand won the World Cup . France put an embarrassing 55 points on them, and England are champions. I also remember ye didn't even make it out of the group phase last time out .
Chokers.
Well done U20's our future AB's are ingood hands.
What a catastrophic end for Ireland. They will question what went so terribly wrong against a bad All Black side.
The answer is glaringly obvious to the Irish lads - they were more 'bad' than the 'bad' AB's side.
Even in world cup U20 , all blacks beat Ireland !😂😂😂
What did they win
@@pmc237 The game
Just can't beat south Africa hey😂😂😂
Bronze medal
Stolen in the finale…
This is high tackle in second try of ireland this is red normaly
Crikeys halftime already yet they still eyeing each other out after the N.Z Haka 😂😂😂
mahi tika ana 🇮🇪🤝🇳🇿
Spirited fight by Ireland but the All Blacks score a try with a man down.
Broke his arm.... not a red card?
Where will Pledger be in the ABs nine pecking order after the next world cup?
well if he continues on this current trajectory hopefully number 3.
1-Roigard
2-Peranara - Ratima
3-Noah Hotham
4- 🤷🏼♂️
Ireland were a battered team after their game against England. Don't think they would have beaten NZ though either way.
Great performance from the ABs. But ffs the Haka is a national embarrassment surely?
The last part of the Haka translates to "English or Spanish"
Irelands Daddy 🇳🇿
score flattered Ireland with NZ scoring with a man down and conceding two tries in last 5 mins
Can’t believe the kiwi didn’t get a red card on this action…he clearly tackled the green right on his head…when would the ref and TMO give a car then? Unbelievable…
Another mascarade of referring…
TV pundit working his bollocks off, desperate to create atmosphere at Haka’s end: “…a tense stand-off that has everyone in the stadium gripped…” Yip, all 200 of them.
Sky Sports pundits: hilarious.
Well done boys 🎉🎉😂
The little Irish boy laughing then he loses the game lol 😂
Gg boys.
How that line out was "straight" at 3:06, not sure? Reffing in rugby still suffers from inconsistencies. And I'm a NZ fan. It was that glaring.
Tell me you don’t know the new rules without telling me you don’t know them. They are testing a new rule where you don’t penalise a team for not throwing straight if the other team doesn’t contest
@@loki_mischief10 fair call. Didn't know that. I stand corrected. Good job.
Paddy got pumped
Again 😂
The stadium is empty
Will the Irish ever understand staring isn’t much of a challenge is it
Helps if you've *influenced* the ref
*IF they could just stop making the Haka so unnecessarily melodramatic, and make it more respectably brief instead, it would have drawn in more mana in their delivery of the game!!! AND they got hammered after making such a long drama of BS!!! Gawd, whoever dreamt this long-dragged BS up should get his head examined!!! RATHER PATHETIC!!!*
3rd place for baby blacks but it is not their standard when you see all the titles !
Absolutely nz fédération must give place to U20 players in their teams : saders canes chiefs blues highlanders.
No, you don't get given a place based on age.
If U20 don’t play , they cannot be good
@@bremCZ College rugby does not prepare the NZ youngsters to the highest level. The way they were thumped by France should be considered seriously.
@@cgrant1960the days of abs dominance is over since now we're finally seeing the fruits of the game being professional. The worlds caught up and moving on
But nz fédération will care this sure
No reply for the haka
What does that mean ?
England U20 are the world champions❤❤❤😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉
Always funny when Ireland try and challenge the haka thought they would've learnt by now even though there statement Means nothing 😂go home bae🤘
Just makes them get a bigger hiding 😂😂
Especially when those little boys smiling lol be crying now little try hards
Yeah, but France. 😢
Ireland moved first lol that’s why they lost
why that haka?
Great game of freeze , terrible highlights …was here for rugby
NOW IT STARTED.....
Ireland 😁 New Zealand 😛
HOW IT ENDED.....
Ireland 😭 New Zealand 😂
France put 55 points on this NZ team 😉
England, the champs .
37 test matches played between the All Blacks and Ireland
NZ won 31
Ireland won 5 👀👀😳😳😂😂😂
That Irish kid laughing all the way to the bottom where he belongs lol with the amateurs 😂
These weren't test matches though, so not only is this a pointless, stupid comment, but a poor attempt at bait too.
@@icefarrow7959even if you include the test matches only, you’re still in the single digits of no. if wins either way 😂😂
Ehh it's the bronze playoff, congrats on coming 3rd.
Whoop whoop head on a stick mic man says two of the worlds best teams - slight over exaggeration ….. heap on praise but it’s not what most of us think we are hopeful lol great rivals of the game haha cmon mate be honest and that means factual
Really…let’s call time on this Haka nonsense!
Dont see how, you can allow the perpetrator of foul play to stay on field, that results in an injury to Ireland hooker, should be a straight red and not just 20mins, not saying Ireland would have won, baby blacks great in the conditions.
Last try wins
Why waste two minutes on a haka most viewers want to see rugby
They got done by referee against French but we still did get a win against them ….
..Irl u20's extremely pooor ..they gave up
Irish no 2 should be ashamed of himself faking the injury. Disbraceful.
Disbraceful? you should be ashamed for posting that
@@mickser101 LOL great reply 🤣
and that's what happens lol
Another boring Hakka and stand off- 12:30 highlight time 2:30 wasted on the pre show !
NZ should have been in the final got screwed.
But they're not, France beat them. They'll have to be better for next time. Solid team nonetheless
And what does your whining change? Nothing. So why dwell on it? Move on.
France put fifty on y’all
Worst refereeing ever .. even Nigel Owens agreed lol
Living vicariously through the French did not help the Irish much.
Something you can’t do 😂
@@valurogers99 see yall in the Aviva , bring Black kleenex
@@niallsheehan474 Someone never learned their lesson at the RWC about being overconfident.
Again, NZ giving away points through half-hearted tackle attempts.
Stupid immature "stair down" rubbish - oh yeah its under 20's!! Silly show pony NZ team. That's why they're playing for third!😂
you mean 'stare down' (unless the pitch has a hidden basement)
Irish were just shocked they made it out of the quarters
Stupid immature stairs. How dare they provide us a way to ascend or descend levels. How dare they!
3rd place ain't bad considering France and England were excellent, the Springboks didn't progress despite being the #1 rugby country in the world and the hosts of this tournament, and NZ have had a bad run at previous Under 20s. You are a Kiwi hater!
They thrashed Ireland who are supposed to have the best systems in the world and in the pouring rain which is what NZ typically hates.
France will win the Actual world cup one day.
Said the Irish crybaby
Depth in nz rugby is looking good.lets hope Ireland dont poach half of them. Ireland choke again its hereditary.
Yellow card for off-side? Serious?
If thats the futurr of New Zealand rugby there needs to be some drastic changes.
Good grief
They needed you out there🤭 that would of been a laugh good grief
That’s right bronze is ridiculous for Nz team
Well done NZ, but cut out thé thuggery with off the ball tackles as well as dump tackles… should have been a red 🎉..
The Irish ☘️ lads lost heart during the second and fell off too many tackles, an easy win was therefore on the cards.
Word of advice to the Irish ☘️ fullback, always nail yer man as the cross field kick showed y’a !
Rock on the Olympique’s “7’s” in Paris 🎉
