  • Rallying to the Challenge 2023 - DAY 2
    Featuring Gary Rafaloff
In this talk, Gary Rafaloff gives a broad overview of the current state of disease-modifying clinical trials for Parkinson's. Disease-modifying therapies refer to those that aim to slow, stop, or reverse Parkinson's progression. Gary is a co-author on the annual 'Parkinson’s drug therapies in the clinical trial pipeline' paper. If you are interested in learning more about the 2023 update paper or would like to read the paper in full, please visit our website: cureparkinsons....
This talk was given as a part of the Rallying to the Challenge meeting, hosted by Cure Parkinson's and the Van Andel Institute in Grand Rapids, Michigan on September 27-28, 2023. Rallying to the Challenge is a meeting designed for and by people with Parkinson’s, advocates, and care partners to explore how the Parkinson’s community can impact and accelerate research. It is a part of the larger Grand Challenges in Parkinson's Disease meeting, an annual scientific symposium for Parkinson's research.
