It was cool to see you get that win! You earned it! Thanks for the shout out in the video. I appreciate you in this community and look forward to playing more with you!
Getting a win in MA3 after only eight months is impressive. Getting the win in a playoff makes it even more sweet! That's a lot of pressure, well done!
It doesn't matter the activity or the level at which you compete, the practice you put in is to improve and win. Now you're ready for the next challenge of moving up a division and focusing on competing there in 2024. When I started playing there was just intermediate and advanced, when I jumped up to advanced I was getting slaughtered. I stuck with it and playing with tougher competition improved my game even more.
Huge congratulations to you! 8 months in?! Thats awesome. You are reaping the rewards of hard work & perseverance. Keep going, love following your channel. God bless.
Congrats! The feeling's great! Been playing for a year now, and won my first MA3 tournament after 8 months as well, and it was in a playoff as well! Playoffs are so freaking stressful, good on you for staying focused. You will ride the feeling of that win for a while, it feels good :)
Big props to you to have the mental toughness to stick to the game plan, execute the shot, and finish out the win! I fell apart in my first tournament because I made dumb mistakes on my first three holes and let my mentality unravel.
CLUTCH!!!!🤩😎 HELL YEA!!! CONGRATS! Especially for only playing for 8months. I definitely need to try out for a tournament. I live up here in Phoenix. Alot of nice courses. My local course is Los Olivos. Nice lil mid-range spot. Happy trails, and keep slanging that plastic😎🤙
Congratulations on winning your first tournament! Even though its only been 8 months, sounds like you have put in the time to get good. I hope you keep at it!
Congrats man! Started playing about 6 months ago and looking forward to doing atleast 1 tournament this year. Also would like to try to do one of the MVP circuit challenges too if one comes close enough. Keep up the good work!
Nice! Congrats! That's a great tournament story. Good to know playing for par and being confident in your head is working! I'm the opposite and end up doing terribly at tournaments but good at regular rounds. 😅
That’s dope man. Congratulations on that. I’ve never played MA4. I asked my friends and they said I would get looked at as a sandbagger. I actually wanted to start ma4 initially but my friends said to do ma3 instead. Not sure if that was the right advice. Are you excited about playing ma3? I think the competition is definitely pretty good. I have another tournament this weekend. If I win it then I’m definitely considering ma2. If I win the A tier in a couple weeks I’m definitely moving to ma2
@@JusThrowitDiscGolf You see a lot of different kinds of people in MA4, I feel like MA3 everyone kind of gets a bit more serious and the pressure is higher. I've played with some people in MA4 that made me more confident in my own game just because they could mess up and joke about it or what not. I'll have to let you know how playing MA3 goes for me
Congratulation buddy! I'm just coming up on my first year of playing and am thinking about entering my first tournament this year. Hopefully, they'll have an MA4 division. If not, I'll enter MA3, but will probably get stomped. That's ok. Best of fortune to you in the future.
Thanks. The truth it’s you never know what you’re up against. Most don’t take ma4 serious that’s why I never joined that and started with ma3. I play ma3 but when I’m only I shoot like a top ma2 guy. Some days I shoot like I just started. I say join ma3 and gain the experience like I am. Sometimes ma3 guys have way better scores than ma2. Just trust yourselves and beta the course. Don’t focus on anyone else but yourself and doing your best on each hole. Good luck and come back and tell me how it goes
I have been playing for six months, and will enter my first tournament this year. I am hoping to to the same, and if I Can stand the pressure, I know I can. I compare my rounds to other people tournament rounds on the same layouts, and assuming I Can play how I normally play under the added pressure of a tournament, I should shoot at least an 875 round for my first sanctioned event.
Congrats bro. I will never forget the feeling of winning my first tournament. Loved hearing your breakdown of how it played out. First of many!

Great job on the win and for your honesty. Wishing you the best. Keep kicking ass.
So awesome man! Congrats on the win 💪

I like the way you mainly focus on shot shape in your discussion. Its a good sign that you think about how the disc is going to fly.
Congrats on the success. Thanks for sharing your journey.

Congrats dude, I've been playing a year and it's an amazing sport to play for yourself and in a group. Keep going dude. Love the journey

My boy! I just got moved up to MA3 after a couple of hot tournaments in MA4. Got 4th and 3rd in my last two.

in theory, there's no difference between theory and practice. in practice, there is.
You sound as you should, a player who just enjoys the game. And ya doing well is ok. 😂
Have you watched a professional event in person?
