Oh wow look another nice game from my childhood I see nobody talk about. While it ain't no Pokémon Stadium, this game is still pretty neat. If I ever do a Gen 4 LP, I gotta bring the team over an LP this game too.
I know, right? There's something so surreal about seeing your Pokemon battle on the big screen with such gorgeous graphics. I've put tons of hours into this game just seeing what all the Pokemon look like battling in 3D.
@@alceroi8280 really makes you think what the hell happened to the fanbase over ten years. Going from shunning games like this and Black&White to shamelessly praising and circlejerking the same shitty uninspired slop they’re being served on a year to year basis.
Though this game couldn't reach the greatness of the Pokémon Stadium series I enjoyed this game very much back in 2007. This game was the first one I've been planning a major video series on RUclips for. Might give it another try 14 years later. :)
Oh yeah, all the battle tracks in this game are fantastic. Neon is definitely my favorite. There are a lot of great relaxing tracks too. "What's Your Name?" is particularly nice.
Literally the same two for me as well. For me Neon Col. encapsulates how fun it was to battle back in my teen days while Sunset evoke pure nostalgia listening to it from time to time from 2007 to now now. Sunset connected the serenity and atmosphere it had; same for the other Colosseum. Still remember doing WFC battle like it was yesterday as still have so many battle passes. Good times.
I can't believe I only descovered I had this game in my Wii today, I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO PLAY THIS LIKE 11 YEARS AGO! DAMN IT! At I can play it now, but I can't feel nostalgia, at least yet.
Its a cool OST, but I've always thought the colosseum music looped way too quickly. The tracks could've been so much more but they're more like snippets rather than complete songs.
I loved this game! But listen, does anyone notice the little similarities between this ost and the soundtrack from Pokemon Colosseum/XD Gale of Darkness? I keep hearing similar notes or little snippets. Maybe it's a reference to them? That would be amazing if it was!
Wow, I forgot how much I liked Sunny Park's music. Waterfall, Neon and Sunset are pretty good too! It's a bit weird hearing the music without the announcer though lol.
Thanks so much for uploading, I hate listening to music in a playlist with ads, it's so much nicer to stick one video on and have it in the background :) Favourites would have to be Intro, Neon, Crystal and Sunset Colosseum
No prob! Nothing's worse than having an ad blare just when you're getting into the music. The Colosseum battle themes are all amazing. Those are some of my favorites too.
You know, even if they remake diamond and pearl, without a homage to pokemon battle revolution, it'll be bland like the sun and moon. PBR is better than the swsh playing field so i don't understand why there were no updates to PBR in future generations. 😭😭
It's pretty much Pokemon Stadium for the DS games. You can transfer your Pokemon from DPP and HGSS, and have them battle on the big screen with very nice visuals. There are several different coliseums that you can battle in all with their own rules. You used to be able to battle people online too. There aren't any minigames like in Stadium however. It's all about battling.
That seems to be the fate of a lot of Pokemon spin-offs. The main series is so popular that it overshadows everything else. Plus, the only thing you do in this game is battle which I could see a lot of people getting bored with pretty quickly.
@@Aarhead correct, althought Pokémon Battle Revolution was released before Platinum so if you transfer the following Pokémon in their alternate forms: Shaymin, Rotom and Giratina, they will revert back to their regular appearances, dunno about HGSS tho
@@Joseph-li3df I know this is 2 years old but the game is ratshit. The battles are ho hum and the big featured they advertised was the multiplayer and in typical nintendo fashion they fucked it up were u can only find matches with players who search specifically for the type of battle you want to fight with the same exact rules and same stadium.
Only played this with some cousins and barely won a game since they were into competitive ev iv training. I barely knew whismur granted HP evs and trained with macho brace. Fun times even thoe I lost.
Eh, it was good in terms of animation and graphics, but definitely lacking in terms of content compared to Colosseum and XD which had an actual adventure with an overworld like the main-line games. I mean, I'd still play this over Sword and Shield at least lol
Yeah it was, but the multiplayer was really cool, both random opponent battles and connecting multiple DSs with your friends. Content-wise it was definitely way too light, though.

His determination deserves an ovation.
you know the soundtracks good when the title screen music is a banger

Man, that is a genius idea. I'm gonna sub you just so I can catch that.
I always loved the front desk music.
Same
22:41 best pokemon's music ever :x

ooh i hope they add battle revolution along with bdsp :D
Lagoon reminds me of when my vaporeon took a specs thunderbolt, survived, and ohko’d my opponent in the rain with a critical hit surf 😎
When will we get bopping memes to battle revolution music?

I can't hear Neon Colosseum without thinking of the time I made some cheapass nub ragequit because I walled his shitty Palkia with my Blissey.
classic
I don't regret not selling my copy of this game, the music and animations still hold up.
better animations than scarlet and violet
Same. I still have my copy and I still play it every so often
Some really good tracks here, such as Neon Col or Sunset Col.
Oh yeah, all the battle tracks in this game are fantastic. Neon is definitely my favorite. There are a lot of great relaxing tracks too. "What's Your Name?" is particularly nice.
Literally my favourite two as well :)
sunset Colosseum is probably my favourite out of the whole ost
Its gotta be joes theme for me

You have my full respect for uploading the ost's of my childhood games, thanks so much!
Sure thing! Glad I can help you relive some nostalgia.
Reception Desk do hit different
So many memories of getting absolutely obliterated online while the sunset colosseum theme plays
12:33
I've never played this game, I had no idea it kept the GC games' victory fanfare!
16:32, 18:22
Those callbacks! Ah, my nostalgia! x)
I think Mojang should rethink their music after hearing this
LMAO
You know a soundtrack is good when there is always a memories linked to every individual song. ♡
Wow! Big Pokemon sure do make this colosseum look tiny!
I have heard that some of the music in Battle Revolution are remixed versions of the music from Colosseum & XD: Gale of Darkness.
Yep the victory theme is from them too
I can't believe I only descovered I had this game in my Wii today, I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO PLAY THIS LIKE 11 YEARS AGO! DAMN IT!
At I can play it now, but I can't feel nostalgia, at least yet.
If only the fanfares were played by an actual orchestra
These times were the best of times, simpler times of the late 2000.

Same composer did the music for all three games actually, so they're definitely references. Tsukasa Tawada is his name.
Wow, I forgot how much I liked Sunny Park's music. Waterfall, Neon and Sunset are pretty good too! It's a bit weird hearing the music without the announcer though lol.
it took me until today to realize that the name entry song is a remix of the relic stone theme from colosseum/xd

MASSIVE DAMAGE
Nostalgy was super effective !
Gateway Colosseum is fricking nostalgic af
This definetly need one more like bro :)
Thank you so much! I appreciate it :)
Thumbs up if Garchomp was a part of your squad
I think I’m gonna play this game again
lagoon reminds of the days i landed sheer cold in such clutch situation and made me win games that i shouldnt have.
i found out about this game just today and the soundtrack is great
literally i get shivers from it it's that good
It’s amazing
Mon enfance pokemon battles révolution et zelda twilight princess et ark
I had never heard Lagoon Colosseum theme until now. A tragedy it is locked to online as it’s a bit of a bop.
You know, even if they remake diamond and pearl, without a homage to pokemon battle revolution, it'll be bland like the sun and moon.

what genre of music would this be (outside of VGM)
How is this OST so short? It's half the length of Stadium 1.
I like your songs bro

very under-appreciated soundtrack

holy nostalgia
