Thanks for sharing! My favorite magical moment is when we were leaving Magic Kingdom and I wanted a chocolate covered Mickey ice cream bar. They were out, and my face dropped. The cast member gave me a piece of paper for a free bar, but when I told him that we probably wouldn’t be back for a year or two, he said “No problem- it won’t expire.” Would you believe I kept that slip of paper and a couple years later, I got my ice cream bar - no questions asked! Now That’s customer service! 🤣

Magical moment with my Mom at Disneyland: We were at a sort of secluded back area waiting for the rest of the family to exit Space Mountain. She was ill, in a wheelchair, with a scarf over her head, and an eyepatch over an eye stuck closed due to her facial palsy. She was embarrassed but couldn't miss one more Disneyland trip (her last, as it was) with her kids and grandchildren. Suddenly, a nondescript door opened behind us; clearly a cast member exit/entrance. And who comes out -- Captain Hook in a rich green costume and hat, AND his trademark eyepatch! He sees us and swoops gallantly toward us, removing his hat as he bows toward my mother. We burst into laughter and suddenly the embarrassment was gone, and we were basking in the happiness that we experienced on so many of our special Disneyland trips. Like the Pallos, we are a Disney family and will always be. Thank you for sharing your magical moments!
My parents, sister and I had several magical moments several years ago. We were checking in and I joked about how my dad was taking my sister and I to WDW! But keep in mind that I was 63, my sister 59 and dad was 93! We had a good laugh with the person checking us in. Lo and behold, when we got to our room we had been upgraded to a deluxe room (the Beach Club). The room was larger and there was plenty of room for all 4 of us, including my mom’s wheelchair. All during that trip dad was wearing his WWII veteran hat and I can’t tell you how many people, young and old, came up to him to thank him for his service. Several times we were bumped to the front of the line for a ride and once we got to ride Pandora twice in succession. Sadly my mom passed away a few weeks ago but it makes me happy to remember that trip!
It seems sometimes our memories of our parents are never so vivid as those moments shared with Walt and all he gave us...
We had our magical moment three years ago at Hollywood studios we were involved with crazy guests that unfortunately knocked my son over on the ground who was four and very small at the time. He was devastated and wanted to go home :( the cast members who came to his aid went above and beyond. We became vip guest at Hollywood studios for the entire day didn't have to wait in line and gave my son the most magical day 😊 we rode front row on slinky dog dash, and buzz light year rode midway mania with us. It was amazing
We had a magic moment last year at Guardians. We had been waiting in line to ride and were talking with the cast member helping us as my daughter was in a wheel chair. She was very sweet and after we got off the ride, there was a cast member waiting for us. They took us through a door and right back to the ride to ride again. Best magic moment ever! This was the same trip we got to meet you Kyle outside of of dinosaur!
Couldn't agree more; the Space 220 cast members are absolutely incredible!! Had a similar magical moment made for me on my birthday trip this past March. Got a walk-up lunch reservation, was seated at one of the best tables (imo), they loaded me up with trading cards, gave me free desserts, and our waiter even got a candle to put in my cupcake and sang happy birthday to me 🥰

One of my magical moments happened while checking into the Grand Floridian years ago. My aunt and I were in the elevator and it stopped on one of the quiet club level floors. All of a sudden Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy in their wedding attire came in with a cast member. Even just riding the elevator with them was so cool! But then when we got to our floor, the cast member offered to take our picture with the wedding characters! It was amazing! I assume they were on their way to the wedding pavilion. Such a great memory
On my college program I was talking to one of the professional interns in the seas about a shadowing opportunity and they took me up to see the top of the aquarium too. Also, let me do the shadowing in conservation education.
One time when we’re trying to get into Tutto Italia , the host saw we were all wearing Ferrari shirts. (Matching shirts made it easier to keep track of us) He was so excited to see the shirts that he bumped us to the front of the line an seated us. It was great! ✨
One night a few years ago my brother left his phone at Hollywood studios as we got on a bus to go to Epcot. When we got there, we talked to customer service and they said come back at closing time. It was close to two hours after the park left when we got his phone back but it was totally worth it. We talked to 2 cast members the whole time and it was so cool. They told us so much about the park, even some secrets. Was very very cool.
We got a reservation at Space 220 lounge during our trip last October. We ordered drinks and a plate of deviled eggs (you should really try it, they are amazing). The bacon served with it is to die for and we told our server that we could eat a whole plate of that delicious bacon. 5 minutes later we were pixie dusted with a plate of bacon. It was simple, but it made our experience special.
We stopped by space 220 on a whim to see if we could go to the lounge and grab a drink and they had 2 seats. When we told the bartender we were there for our 25 year anniversary trip, he gifted us champagne! Was amazing!
We could not get a reservation online earlier in the year and we waited in line for when they first came out to take walk up reservations. We were able to get one and we were one of the first people in the restaurant that day! Walking in with nobody else around was perfect! We also got a seat right by the outer space window! It was amazing! The service and food were excellent! The atmosphere is one of a kind and is a must do at least once!!
My magical moment was outside the tea cup ride in MK. I was feeling very motion sick after riding and had to take a break. Out of nowhere Alice and the Mad Hatter showed up to ask if I was okay and also to ask if it was my birthday (it was not) and so they started to sing and wish me a very merry unbirthday. Then they gave me a signed 8x10 photo of them. It definitely lifted my mood!
Reason Space 220 has better service is because they are owned by a different parent company, so the servers are held to a higher standard.
KYLE! I did this tour a few years back and even got to scuba in the tank. It is so so so cool and I’m so glad you got to experience it!
We also had a magical moment at space220 in October. We noticed it was Trish who also took your reservation at the desk. She was amazing and went out of her way to make our visit super special ❤
If I can get a reservation I’m going to take my husband for his birthday to Space 220. You are giving me so many ideas when we go to Orlando in 2024 for my husband’s 50th.

I got to go on a cruise back in 1990. We went to Cozumel, Costa Rica, Jamaica, and the Grand Caymans , it was a trip in search of Santa Claus. It was free for me and another cancer patient

My husband and I had a magical moment on the Astro Orbiter, except It wasn't with cast members but instead a group of sweet parkgoers. We had the just married buttons on as it was our honeymoon, We all got crammed into the elevator super tight. The group that was with us had to of been at least seven people and they didn't speak any English, but they saw our buttons, and knew what they meant, and so they sang the wedding march song to us and then congratulated us in their own language. It was something we will not forget! A memory that is a reminder of human kindness in the world :)
My mom who is a big space nerd and I (me a big Disney nerd)watched this together and hopefully we can go there one day
Calamari done right is awesome! It Should not be too chewy with very light breading and yes, dip in marinara sauce. Yummmy
I got to go behind the scenes at Sea World and watch they feed the sharks. It was so cool.

My magical moment is when I was on my honeymoon and we got stuck in Orlando due to the volcano in Iceland and we go 3 free days and nights at our hotel and at the parks and food vouchers
Back when the dining plan was a thing a solo stranger at le cellier gifted us his dining credits because his wife was sick back at their room and they were leaving the next day.
We gave our trick or treat candy to the pool team and when we got back to our room there was a tray of chocolates and mini cakes and a chocolate with AKL on it ! I rang the front desk thinking they had left it by mistake and was told it was a magical moment for our kindness! How fabulous for us x
My best magical moment happened on my 16th birthday when I was selected to be grand marshal of the parade at Magic Kingdom. At that time the car they used was one from Disneyland that Walt used to drive around! No steering wheel, just a bar to turn!

I have 3 magical moments from Disney World 1) my wife and I were in Hollywood studios, and it was the 2nd part of our honeymoon. we were in a gift shop, and my wife saw hand sanitizer with a Jack skellington cover on it. It was 13 dollars, and we were like, for that, a cast member overheard us, and she noticed our pins and said im entitled to 5 magic moments a day so take one on the house 2) I dropped a mickey pretzel at magic kingdom and a cast member noticed and said come with me got me a new pretzel free of charge 3) my wife and I got free champagne at the coral reef csuse our server saw our newlywed pins on our shirt
Glad, you to see you liked Space 220. There are however mixed reviews Kyle. I know about 12 people that got really bad food poisoning at that place. The price isn’t so affordable for the average public. Kyle, you need to remind your servers about your annual pass discount of food and drink tabs. All park restaurants qualify, excludes special events and those outdoor food booths
I am absolutely shocked I have not seen your father have any popcorn yet ha ha but it’s been such a good time watching you and your dad it really makes me happy. I said it before I did not have that kind of relationship with my father he would never of done anything like this and I just love watching you two together you really enjoy each other and your dad such a nut I love it Good job Kyle and dad
When test track first opened they pulled us aside and brought us in back and let us use fancy bathrooms, gave us snacks and water and relax in air conditioning and then jumped us to the front of the line. It was so magical.

We will be back in Feb to try the lounge as I am hoping it was just a bad day!! Can't wait to get back to Orlando and we will hopefully run into you Kyle!!
I've been up those stairs a few times to scuba dive in the aquarium! It never gets old.

Another really cool magical moment was last year we had a trip booked to celebrate our 4 year old daughters adoption. When we got to the hotel and got our celebration pins, they told us it would be a bit Longer for our rooms… shortly after a few cast members came out with balloons, snacks and toys for my daughter… AND they upgraded our room! My kids all still talk about how cool that was. 🤍
My stomach would be dropping on the elevator haha

Kyle why not try to get a seat in the bar area at Space220 you can't book that but it's available by walk up. You cam also try food at the bar too. Also the fried cauliflower is highly recommended by a lot of people.

This looks so cool! We've got a trip on the books for this coming July. As soon as I can attempt to make reservations...I'm going to attempt to reserve this restaurant. I tried for our trip last summer, but I didn't even start booking stuff until three weeks before our trip.
Also on Dec 28th 2017 at Epcot space ship earth was a 95 min wait 😮

We cried when we were in EPCOT and Space 220 was NOT open yet (their original chef quit, then one of the "space windows" cracked, delayed the opening a year! 😰 Looks like the food is a winner, but don't know if I'd spend that $$$ (we didn't for Be Our Guest). IF we are ever returning to EPCOT, we WILL try to get a Space 220 reservation though. Great vlog today!
