Let’s hear it, do we want this staycation Sunday possibly ever week!?
What a great way to see places without being there! Too often we are left to guess if a new place will be good or bad and too often we just stay with what we know because of this. Also appreciate Casey's POV as she will see things differently than you. Can't wait to see a contemporary review on Laura's vlog. Ha.

@@SydDisney626 If Casey is a Cast Member they get a wonderful discount in all Disney Resort hotels and it makes them very affordable. I think that is why she went to the front desk check-in first. It will still be expensive but not as bad as it could be.
Yes I would enjoy a staycation video every week, but also doing it once a month would be a good option too

@@asteroth131 Yes of course he can get a dog. I was curious as to what plans he had for the puppy for when he travels. Puppies are a lot of work, like children. If you follow him, he travels a lot and is considering Staycations as a regular weekly thing. Kyle takes a lot of time and careful planning in his life and I am wondering what his plans are for when he gets a puppy and still be able to do these events he is speaking about.
I’m loving Casey in the vlog! She has such a soothing voice and I like how she has a lot of Disney knowledge and familiarity from growing up in Florida. She’s a natural! Also yes on “Staycation Sunday”. I enjoy seeing the resorts. But don’t feel forced to do it every single Sunday.
Best hotel I stayed at last March. Some disney magic happened when I stayed there, was suppose to stay in the garden view. I got upgraded to staying in the main building and had a theme park view. Funny thing I was making a joke about 2 weeks before the trip and said It would be cool if we got upgraded to a theme park view. I couldnt believe it happened. A few other disney magic things happened also down there. I can't wait till my family and I go back.
Hey Kyle, A staycation would be great but only once in a while because it might get expensive unless you are getting a good discount with Casey CM benefits. By the way, it is nice of you to share your house hunting but maybe you should keep it to yourself like your relationship and then surprise us. OK, Kyle, Casey is a KEEPER! She's adorable, friendly, and has a magnetic presence on camera. Plus, you are the perfect couple, to boot! The room is very nice. Believe it or not, I stayed there on the same side of the hotel with my wife and little kids in 1988. Unreal this hotel is still a special destination.

I love this idea of staycation Sunday! Such a cool way to showcase different resorts around property to help us decide, now I really want to stay at contemporary sometime! Also Casey is a natural at doing the room tours! Love her in these videos too!!😊 could do the oldest to newest resorts since you started with the first haha
I love the idea of staycation Sundays! It would be kind of cool too if you would show maybe some of the hotels near the Disney Springs area that aren’t necessarily a Disney hotel. I know that ever since I started going to WDW and staying on property I don’t know that I ever want to stay off property. However budget wise it would be kind of neat to see some of the other nearby hotels, how much they cost and what you actually get for the cost.
The Contemporary Hotel was the largest A-Frame structure in the World back in 1971; "inserting" the hotel rooms into the structure from the outside with cranes is exactly how they build many cruise ship cabins to this day. Love the theme of your room -- it's just looking so ... wait for it..... INCREDIBLE! Ha
Growing up we always stayed at the contemporary. Where would walk out see the monorail from the room and we always had a theme park view. Probably stayed there at least 30 times. I was very blessed. My parents always paid cash but I have bought into dvc which I like bay lake but we do pay cash to stay at contemporary.
I was 13 when we stayed in the Contemporary, 1978. Was great then too. Love the weekly vlog idea. These make me think of fun events from my past. So thanks!

I grew up in San Antonio TX and the first hotel built this way was the downtown Hilton hotel in time for the 1968 World's Fair there. We watched the cranes sliding the rooms in every night on the news for almost a year when I was a Sr. in high School...yep, I am 73 and an avid fan Kyle. Great idea for the weekly Staycation! Love it! Was that Edna doing the elevator voice? Edna is my favorite Incredible character! Dahling, it was goooorgeous!

Last year for Valentine's Day, we had lunch at 71 and then rented a pontoon boat (AP discount applied) to cruise around the lake. Great look at the resorts from the lake and MK (though, water patrol will only let you get so close)!

I stayed at the contemporary a few times years ago when my kids were young between 1998-2006. It was an amazing g experience a we once had a theme park view and it was awesome to watch the fireworks at night from our room. Enjoy you time there and I love your idea of Sunday staycation at a different resort each time. Look forward to those videos. The contemporary is my absolute favorite Disney Resort unfortunately it’s too pricey for me right now.

I’ve stayed at AKL when the pools were being renovated , once at kidani and once at jambo house in January! I pool hopped! Nice to see Casey in the vlog again ! Think you ought to take her to meet your family back home and vlog !

My husband and I stayed at the Contemporary in 2019 for our 30th anniversary. It was amazing!!!! I could see Cinderella Castle and Space Mountain from our bed!!! And we could watch the fireworks from our balcony. It was such a special trip.

Kyle I went to that hotel before you and went to one of the room of the best nights of all time at a boathouse for the frist time the 3 time I went to Disney I was trying to find you Kyle pallo and your vlogs are so good the theme park so much money is was quiet I would stay there agin expect the pool were not open

Please stay at the Swan/Dolphin and Swan Reserve. Those resorts are amazing and usually cheaper than Disney resorts.

Yes. Contemporary is the most noisy Disney Resort, period. It ranges from people coming and going, monorail noise and ferry boats. The rooms are a nice face lift.
Man Contemporary rooms look amazing. Definitely would pay more for that view. Thats so interesting how it was built. And yay Casey! Loved the staycation theme.
A must for me to visit Contemporary's backyard. Always walk out to end of pier.

14th floor isn’t all suites. We stayed in a park view room right after Ian. It was a nice big room, but not a suite. Concierge was fabulous.
That's amazing that you stayed on the 10th floor. My first ever Disney trip in 2005 was at the Contemporary on the 10th floor facing Magic Kingdom. I would love to have stayed there since, but no luck yet. Maybe again one day.
They have to re-diamond bright pools after so many years. 😊

Someone correct me if I’m wrong please but I could’ve swore the contemporary guests were not allowed to use the bay lake pool because it’s dvc only. And they’re only making an exception because the pool at the contemporary is closed
