Our pre-valentines day date.. Honestly such a romantic dinner with a fireworks view.. they hooked it up for us! Price is a lot, Obviously.. But this really was a great time. See you next staycation Sunday

Enjoyed the video! It is very expensive. Have been there for drinks great views 😊 Don’t know how you afford it and can eat so much and stay thin. Kasey is going to be spoiled 😊 I am feeling an engagement video coming soon 😉😉

California Grill is a must do. It is so magical. The Braised Beef Short Rib Wontons was delicious but will def need to try the House-made Artisanal-style Duck À L'Orange Pizza, you promoted it all too well. Yum! We opted to upgrade to the additional surcharge for the 35oz Beef Rib-Eye Tomahawk Steak for Two* of $80.00 in addition to the $89.00 per person. It was so amazing we will do it again. Funny because our overall cost was just about $350.00. I think we sat one table away from where you were seated "the best view" when we went. Just FYI....the sunset is a must do. They announce the sunsetting over the PA system so the guests don't miss it and when it did set all the guests clapped and cheered. That was almost as good as staying long enough for the fireworks display. I would love to book California Grill for Dec 30th for the New Years Fireworks but it literally booked so quickly last time in October, the very first day you can book for Dec 30th :-( I will try again this year. The fireworks I've seen on youtube video is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. and need to see it for myself and of course experience the great atmosphere and delicious food.
Thanks to you I will need to tour the Contemporary Hotel a bit more. I never realized all the shops were there. We learn so much from your videos.
So happy you both found each other. BTW, I gave my 31 year old son a heads up about Bumble. I can only hope he finds a Casey of his own.

my Birthday dinner ! You definitely had the best table at California Grill ! The last time I Stayed at the Contemporary Hotel it was so cold they had to close the monorail doors so the monorail could not come thru it

Amazing view with dinner! I really love this vlog, it was really informative for someone who can’t really afford the deluxe resorts. The only posh resort I stayed at was the Yacht club. I really wanted to stay at the beach club then but it was not available at the time I went.

My wife and I got to see the fireworks from up there in 2019 back when we were dating. It was great. We went out on the walkways to see them.
Fun hidden fact at the Contemporary - one of the goats on the large interior mural has 5 legs. Good luck finding it!

Not that it matters now, but I ate there when it was the Top of the World restaurant with a dinner show. All of the experience was very nice! I think the dinner price range back then was around the mid-twentie$.

Since you love french onion soup so much, there are two VERY good central Florida locales I'll recommend. 1, Nona Blue Modern Tavern east of the airport on Narcoosee. Its a great date place for lunch or dinner. 2. Meg O'Mally's, an Irish Pub eatery in downtown Melbourne. They have several great soups, Emerald Island Onion soup, Potato-bacon-leek and Irish Beef Stew. Maybe check it out next time you get off the a cruise in Port Canaveral.
I did eat at Steakhouse 55 back in 2013. Amazing steak, garlic yukon mashed potatoes, 24layer chocolate cake! Its too bad its been closed. Hopefully something new will go in that space soon.

Great Video with Casey!! We went to Cinderella’s Royal Table that same night! It’s was just as amazing… was for pre Valentines as well! I noticed in the video that the Tron’s roof was also in sync with the music and fireworks!!! It’s was spectacular!! (Janika) 🥰
In 1983. We stayed at the Contemporary. All inclusive vacation. We ate and saw Broadway at the Top, and dined at every expensive restaurant we could. There was only Magic Kingdom and Epcot. They were also included in the trip.
We stayed in the same spot in contemporary but lower down so we were able to wave to the characters. It was awesome watching fireworks from the balcony.

Outside of Disney, this summer you two should come here to Ohio and check out Kings Island! They have a “camping” place called camp cedar with really cute cabins! Camp Cedar provides transportation to and from the park! Then after a weekend at Kings Island you can swing up to Cedar Point!! ☺️

@@MagicallyBlended oh nice!! We are 30 minutes from Sandusky so same thing for me up this way but with Cedar Point. We visit KI once or twice in the summer and then we’ve been doing the first weekend in December for winter fest for a few years now.

Random story: 40 or so years ago when California Grill was still "Top of the World" restaurant and hosted the "Broadway at the Top" show, I ate there with my family at dinner and seated at the next table over was former President Nixon and some of his family. My grandmother sent me over to get his autograph.
I think I was most amused that the pats of butter served there had the WDW logo (a globe with Mickey ears) molded into them.
We have been going to California Grill for years. One of our favorite places for dinner and fireworks!
Anyone else notice RUclips putting a crazy amount of ads in this video? Like literally every 2-3 mins? Usually maybe one or two breaks in a 20min video. Other than that a really fun video. Oh and totally agree on that pizza. Seriously thinking of going one more time before April just for that pizza. The crust is amazing.
$350 for that? No thanks. Disney has priced itself to the point of most people not being able to afford it. The only thing Disney cares about is maximum profit, where it used to be creating wonderful memories for the people who visited.

Just so you know about the water, I've been to Cal Grill several times and they tell me it's Tap Water that they run through a very expensive filter system in the kitchen and fill the bottles there.

My family and I would go to Disney for Christmas and on new years eve we would go to the restaurant up on the tower I remember ine year my brother got real sick and I cried because we had to leave great memories

We ate dinner at California Grill many many many years ago! Last trip was also when Steakhouse 71 was still The Wave. My two favorite hotels are The Polynesian (stayed there in 1973) and The Grand Floridian (never stayed there), with The Contemporary a close third (for the restaurants). When we always stay off property, we get to drive to any hotel for brunch/dinner and sample the variety. Oh, and Kyle is so much more "loose" now that he doesn't have to "block out" Casey from his editing. One tip though: Casey needs to be miked or closer to the microphone as it's sometimes hard to hear her (lucky for CC on RUclips). 🥰

I recently stayed at one of the Hilton hotels right next to Disney Springs. I think they are different that staying on a "Disney" hotel/resort. The one I stayed at had bussing for free for the parks, but it wasn't Disney bussing. it was a 5 minute walk to Disney Springs, Might be something to check out.

kyle...dont waste your money at chef mickeys ...Its so overpriced for basic less then great food. took my kids a couple different times pver thelast few years for the kids...and was so dissapointed all three times. Its great for ths kids to see characters...for the five seconds they stop at your table...but so many better places to go. trust me
