I made my first puppet using your free pattern and even added “the brain” to make the puppy puppet. I could not be happier with the results. I made my first puppet, just fallowing your videos i have found fur very forgiving to a new puppeteer i was able to hide alot of my mistakes in the fur. i started by making my own pattern. again fallowing your videos.First mistake I cut him a little short and he turned out a little small for my hand. However my son loves him.

Hey Adam! I came up with a great way to glue on half ping pong balls to my puppets for eyes! I glue a white 3/4" pom-pom inside the half ball then just glue the pom-pom to the puppet! a slightly smaller ball pulls the eye toward the fabric.

If you don't want to cut a plastic lid.. the thin plastic cutting board mats at the dollar store work great!!
You can use scissors to cut fur using toddler ponytail holders!:) make little “pigtails” out of the fur on the edge, tying it away from where you are cutting. It works really well!

For Adam kreutinger,you can make one Pattern of feet (you can make whit 3 or 4 fingers of like the video "tutorial puppets")

Great Tutorials! I already made a live-hand puppet last year with some gloves, a baby jumper and simple fabrics I had left. Now I'm about to make a new one with rod hands and polar fleece.
I was wondering, which stitch you used. I was going to use a whipstitch for head and mouth and a ladderstitch to attach the arms and legs to the body (I asume I'll need this one since the fleece is already right side up when the body is ready). I sadly don't have a sewing machine, so I'll need to sew by hand. Thanks in advance! Looking forward to your upcoming videos.
