A-Women, A-Men. This is one of my all time FAVORITE pieces of music. I STILL have my vinyl copy of Songs in the Key of Life. The 2014 Grammys included Pharrell, Daft Punk, Nile Rogers, and Stevie Wonder doing "Get Lucky" - except it wasn't just "Get Lucky." It was a medley, and it ended with "Another Star." EVERYONE was on their feet. Pharrell was so excited to be on stage with Stevie Wonder, he couldn't contain himself. I cannot fathom who could possibly give this a thumbs down. How can there be 925 people on the planet who do not like this. They must hate music.

I can honestly say this song is one of Stevie's best. The reason is all the elements of R & B are there, with classical and Caribbean flavor. God didn't bless Stevie with sight, but Stevie blessed the world with his wonderful talent.....

He is the best there was- the best there is- and the best there ever will be. Everything he does that has to do with music from the production of the music to the lyrics of his songs is phenomenal in every way and the way he phrases each and every word is utterly breathtaking. Stevie Wonder made my childhood and youth feel that the world was a wonderful, hopeful place to grow up and live. The music of today is sad, and vulgar and is indicative of the experience many people are experiencing.

Stevie with his spiritual, intellectual, genius self presents a portrait of the reality of life: duality, e.g., birth/death, good/bad, up/down, right/wrong, love/hate, light/dark. in this song which is upbeat, swinging, latino-africano, joyful, uplififting, makes one want to dance...then one day I listened to the lyrics....WOW, I discovered another "somebody done somebody wrong" break-up song. I can't tell yall how many times I heard this great song doing my version of salsa on the floor till I listened to the lyrics. Well..in life if break-up is necessary then do it Stevie's way with "Another Star." Olay!!!
