when i saw your comment it made me cry with joy because i feel the same way about this song and the music i hear all the sounds moving me all different ways
Stevie with his spiritual, intellectual, genius self presents a portrait of the reality of life: duality, e.g., birth/death, good/bad, up/down, right/wrong, love/hate, light/dark. in this song which is upbeat, swinging, latino-africano, joyful, uplififting, makes one want to dance...then one day I listened to the lyrics....WOW, I discovered another "somebody done somebody wrong" break-up song. I can't tell yall how many times I heard this great song doing my version of salsa on the floor till I listened to the lyrics. Well..in life if break-up is necessary then do it Stevie's way with "Another Star." Olay!!!
Where this song been all my life!!! And I'm a Stevie fan too. But my god can I get a witness cause this song is life wrapped in 8 and a half minutes. Pure goodness, heart just beats with joy!! And your foot stomps and waist shake with pleasure to this holy goodness!!
This song, this album, came out when I graduated from high school (with one Black student in a class of 650) then I left home and moved into a dorm room with a young Black man who had this album and played it along with Parliament and Funkadelics. Whew! Stevie helped us to communicate and to understand the world better.
The vocals and instruments on this record are absolutely AMAZING! This is SUPERIOR artistry! Stevie Wonder and all who were involved in the composition and production of this song are TRUE ARTISTS! I just heard this song yesterday on the radio for the first time and I haven't heard a quality song like this in such a long time.

Even if you can’t dance, you can dance to this!
yes,your soul dances
Kenneth Craddock Aché, Kenneth Craddock. You just beautifully and poignantly captured the essence of this genius.

God didn't bless stevie with sight but he blessed him with insight ..FOR ALL OF US ,, AMAZING ❤ 🐝

The vocals and instruments on this record are absolutely AMAZING! This is SUPERIOR artistry! Stevie Wonder and all who were involved in the composition and production of this song are TRUE ARTISTS! I just heard this song yesterday on the radio for the first time and I haven't heard a quality song like this in such a long time.
so much positivity and perspective from someone who hasn't seen the light of day, the sun, the moon, the sea, the mountains, a beautiful woman...makes u wonder what more do the rest of us, who have all our senses intact ,have to say about our experience in this world..
Yes . what's really amazing is now being 64 years old remembering how I loved Steve's music whilst doing heroin... having survived and still loving his musical poetry ... Stevie Wonder ..saving me all over again ❤❤❤❤❤

What Colin said. 👍🏻 Stevie's music has always played a huge part in my musical upbringing. The man is a genius so let's appreciate him while he's around. ❤
I have LOVED ❤️Stevie Wonder from the moment I first heard him on the Radio & I was in 7th Grade....And my Love has been sustained & rewarded by his Pure Musical Genius and his ability to emotionally identify what his song is all about....My favorite Stevie Wonder Song is “Isn’t She Lovely”.... Every Woman Prays her Man Feels that way about her!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
The flute that comes in at about 6mins just puts the topping on a great sweet song.
+dddave999 Thank you so much!
Yes. The flute playing is great. It should come into the song earlier!
Bobbi Humphreys the female from Houston is on flute. Quite accomplished in her own right
@@rh9793 Yep. She is responsible for one of the best known and most sampled songs around. ruclips.net/video/kVoWOSCkvQ0/видео.html

Following your footsteps, with God's blessings.
amazing song...amazing groove & vocals..hard to believe it's nearly 40 years old...love the man...stunning as ever...
so many twists and turns and ups and downs in Stevies voice inflections, just great!!
Stevie is a gift from God. And Bobbi Humphrey, those last few seconds, I literally rewind to hear her flute notes.
hear the latin beat in this song. it's irresistible.
sheldon j. Booker Irresistible is the perfect word....thank you brother Sheldon.
sheldon j. Not only a Latin beat. It is also a Latin progression. This chord progression is used in a lot of Spanish guitar works.
sheldon j. Booker I also hear African rhythms and the Shekere.
@@tlondonable The dominant so called Latin rhythms are African. They attempt to hide it by the word Latin. Latin is European. European music is not beautiful....
Jack Pea Lol well said.
To be honest this is the very first time I've heard this song and it is heavenly!!
This is my first time and I agree.
this is perhaps number 2786 of listening to this...and it gets better every time..
