Actually, while the Vikings did score 3 total TDs in the 4th quarter, their 1st of 3 happened very early on into said period to take a 12-7 lead (a failed 2-point conversion attempt followed), not during the final 2 minutes & 5 seconds left in regulation - which was of course when those back-and-forth, consecutive, combined 5 TDs occurred (3 by BAL + 1 successful conversion on a 2-point attempt of their own & 2 TDs by MIN).

Eh, I'm not a fan of either team. The Lions shouldn't have given up a 20-0 lead. It was either a facemask or horse-collar. He still got whipped around pretty good. You can see his shirt get tugged on, which would be a clear indication of a horse-collar penalty. He no longer counted as QB, and was out of the tackle box when the penalty occurred, so he counted as a receiver. It's still a defensive penalty, and the game can't end on one. At least you're not forced to watch your teams humiliating defeats back to back in every single one of these compilations in the name of continuity. Miracle at the Meadowlands, my @ss. I suffer double, because I am from DFW, so I have a hometeam that I have to hear about every time they lose, despite the fact I will not admit to feeling anything but a passing "hometown" backing of them.

Tremendous compilation. 99 out of 100. The only one that could've/should've been better was the Saints highlight. (29:39) The 63-yard FG by Dempsey was crazy, but what made the game even crazier is that the Lions had just taken a 17-16 lead with 0:11 left. A 14-yard KO return by Al Dodd, followed by an incredible 17-yard completion from Billy Kilmer to Dodd, who barely tapped his toes in-bounds, got the ball up to the Saints' 45-yard line with 0:02 left. (possibly the best pass of Kilmer's career) Footage exists of both plays. Very surprised those weren't included, as they show just how crazy this win was for the Saints.

Honestly feel that the Patriots game should have been the 2013 Week 6 encounter vs the Saints, a back-and-forth affair between Brees and Brady, Brady threw a pick with 2:16 left, Saints went 3 and out and gave the Pats the ball back at their own 30 with 1:13 left and no Time Outs, Brady led a do-or-die drive and threw a TD Pass to Kenbrell Thompkins with 5 seconds left on the clock. That day was an epic day for Boston sports, Pats comeback win and Big Papi's Grand Slam for the Red Sox at Fenway in the ALCS against the Tigers

Dallas fan, but a big fan of NFL history in general, and I have to say... the second two Miracle in the Meadowlands just don't compare to the first in any way to put them on a level playing field. Not to detract from their greatness, they were great in their own right, but in the OG miracle in the meadowlands, that game was over.
As Merrill Reese himself said, "Pisarcik can just fall on the football and there is nothing the Eagles can do."

Giants fan. One of the craziest I've seen in my lifetime was 2002 Week 17 against the Eagles. Win puts us in the playoffs, we dominate the whole game, Tiki Barber runs for over 200 yards, but loses 3 fumbles, we get scores wiped by b.s. penalties, an end zone interception, and a missed field goal, so it's 7-7 with 2 minutes left. Then David Akers misses a chip shot field goal, overtime we get an interception, Matt Bryant kicks for the win, playoff-bound.

I remember watching that Tampa and Colts game live on TV. My Dad actually went to bed because he thought it was over. I continued to watch the game. Those ignorant, arrogant fucks in Tampa were celebrating on the sidelines after 3 quarters, lol, these kids didn't realize that when you have Manning in the game, it is never over. That was the greatest comeback I have ever seen, yes even better than golden boy Tom 'Fucking' Brady. This comeback all came in the last few minutes of the game, it is unprecedented, and may never be duplicated. This was the day that i realized that the Indianapolis Colts were the real deal.

Bro that Patriots choice is insulting. Its an iconic moment but Brady coming back down 24-0 against Peyton is by far the craziest regular season game unless you wanna count the last game of 2007 where the Giants put up an ominous and foreshadowing fight or the 59-0 blowout against the Titans.

I would've gone with the Holy Roller for the Raiders and the 2003 season finale for the Cardinals myself.
If I had to pick a favorite out of all of these, it'd be the Purple Bowl. For the Ravens and Vikings to combine for almost nothing for 57 out of 60 minutes on a snow-covered field and then do what they did in the last couple minutes, you can't make any of that up.

    • @timdanner2596
