yes it is , i am planning a 3 day mini trip this fall and have used the confederation trail a few times, it was good to see what some off the other section are.@@WanderingEyeOutdoorAdventures
You have to do all that going backwards and forwards collecting the camera to appreciate how much effort and time it adds to the day. When I'm out filming some people have suggested I have a camera man with me but not the case. And although I'm on foot and only have limited rucksack space I always take a small pillow. You realise it was worth it when you finally lay your head down at the end of the day. Keep up the good work as I can't afford to come over there to look at the scenery myself.
Hey there! I'm planning on biking the Confederation Trail next week and would like to camp the same way you did. Do you know if camping on the trail like this is "allowed"? Did anyone give you any trouble for setting your tent up there? Thanks!
Hello! So I guess your "technically" not supposed to camp on the trail but I was told by several locals that is no problem if you don't try to have a campfire. As for anyone saying anything...no never in fact I did several PEI trips and saw very few people on the trail especially in the evening. So I say go for it! I hope you have a great trip. Cheers
I have the old version of the pump sack by big agnes it was very thin but it broke so when i bought another big agnes air pad it came with new pump bag like yours … your right it to thick and dont work as well but. Understand why they went thicker .. looking for usb pump for my air pad
Hello. There was only one time I wild camped on the trail. I had talked to many locals who said a solo cyclist who is not having campfires and leaves no trace will never have a problem, and I didn't have any. Aside from that there are campgrounds on PEI that can be used if well planned out. Thanks for watching! Cheers
Hi Mike. I was fortunate enough to be living in Pictou at the time so it was a short bike ride to the ferry from there (7kms). I am hoping to get back to PEI later this summer. Cheers
