I am really confused by all the comments saying the cameras arent good. They arent the best, but they are by no means terrible. The 12 shares the same cameras as the Open (but has a larger main sensor) and the Open took 4th place overall in MKBHDs Blind Test. The top 3 were all Pixels. The 3x lens specifically is amazing and takes better portraits of my kids and pets than my Pixel 8 Pro. Its natural bokeh has far less issues with cutouts and strands of hair.
I want to love this phone and also hope the camera "disappointment" is overstated. Obviously it's not the best camera but I want a realistic real world expectation setting to basically tell me I won't be disappointed with the camera and it should be "pretty good". That's all I need, everything else about the phone looks great
@@ferdia6 well with what im hearing about the camera disappointments is that they are all something that can be fixed with software updates, because the sensors and cameras are fantastic and top of the line, its just about if the software can take advantage of it. So i believe like before they will tweak the software and things for the camera to make it better.
Left oneplus after the 7t mclaren (⬅️best phone) came back a few months ago with the 11 and yesterday preordered the 12. Oneplus is back. Now jus gimme a flat screen and we have perfection.
Nah bro, Oneplus is a perfect package for me, some of us like curved screens, i like it coz easy to hold... Even the size is bigger. You have a lot of options let Oneplus alone do curved screens

Brick phones with sharp edges are irritating for me, not easy to hold because of the ergonomics. I don't kno why, I never have accidental touches, because case adds another 1-2 mm on the side avoiding touches..
TOTALLY with bizzarovision, oneplus needs to go flat screen next year. for now gonna enjoy my silky black 16gb 512gb oneplus 12 along with my s24 ultra that i STILL haven't opened yet hahaha

From what I have seen the OnePlus 12 all around is better then the Galaxy S24 and the iPhone 15. Just wish OnePlus would focus on there cameras which is a area Samsung and Apple have a advantage over the OnePlus 12. If someone is coming from a older device the cameras might work for you because there not that bad where it would be a deal breaker for me.
I really don't understand the camera comments, I am sure none have tested. I have OnePlus 11 and my wife has 14 pro. 8/10 times OnePlus produces the better pic, only issue for me is the shutter lag.

I wish they would've gone with a flat screen. Curved screens are useless, and it's hard to apply a tempered glass screen protector.

OnePlus has the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip set - with the 80 watt charger in the box I would say OnePlus is a better value.
