This is kinda my small happiness, but sitting on a beanbag or sofa and watching animations or movies on the TV. Something you’ve been invested in lately? It’s a hobby I started this year. I started cooking and it’s fun :) [I started because] a lot of money was going into eating out and I eat a lot, but also because I wanted to be able to cook and eat the things I wanted to eat. A couple of days ago I had chicken drumstick steak… gochujang-stew? Kimchi-stew? What do your members think about your cooking? Luckily they like it, but I’m not sure if they just praise me because they’re my group members…they say its not…they say it’s alright :) What kind of weather do you like? I like cool/refreshing weather with a bit a cloud rather than when the sunlight is really strong. What colours do you like? I liked black the best since I was young because if you put all the colours together, it becomes black. It kinda felt like the king of all colours. What do you do before you sleep? I set my alarm and turn the screen of my phone off, then close my eyes. Sometimes I think about things or listen to music, but I try not to look at my phone screen. Oh… I really can’t. So I have to hit myself. You came out on King of Masked Singer. How did it feel to sing with your face covered? It was the most nerve-wracking moment of my life. I think it was pretty much the first time I sang by myself since I debuted, it was probably the first time I came out of tv by myself as well. So that was nerve-wracking in itself, but I also had to cover my face… I do a lot of performances that involve looking people in the eye and at their reactions, a lot of communication, so being unable to do that made me really nervous. It was the most nerve-wracking thing in the world. What do you think is important when travelling? Eating. That’s how I decide my destinations + travel plans. I very rarely go to a place where I don’t think there’s something to eat. This Europe travel I though ‘Let’s go to some of the these major cities’ and then decided where to go from there based on what there was to eat. Your favourite travel destination? I’ve been to quite a few places now, but I think Jeju-do was the most comfortable. The weather was really nice, and the experience in the guesthouse was fun and comfortable. And the food was good. I think that was the most important thing. What’s your healing food? For me, when I get too stressed or have a tough time, I always eat ramen. The taste of ramen itself is kinda strong.stimulating so it feels a little like my stress is being resolved? Anything you’ve started and been unable to finish? Every game I’ve ever played. Sometimes I think that I really want to be able to play well, but I look at myself and think ‘what am I doing~’ and give up quite a bit in the middle of the game. Are you bad at games…? Initially, I had a love-hate relationship with the bass because I didn’t like it when I started learning. I came to like it as I kept doing it, and now that time has passed it’s become a kind of teacher to me. The bass guitar isn’t an instrument that pushes itself forward. My original personality was really forward and full of passion, but now it’s changed a bit to reflect the bass guitar. Even the way I live is related to the bass guitar. My personal small happiness? It’s a really small happiness. Buying things at the supermarket. Just going to the supermarket without deciding what I want to eat or a menu and buying the ingredients I want. And spending quite a bit on them. Recently I went to the supermarket and spent ₩170,000 in one go…
