As a Pinterest newbie I really appreciate this video. It broke things down in a way that was easy to understand and gave good action steps for getting started. Thank you!
I’ve been meaning to use Pinterest for a long time to promote my art (been using it as a consumer for years). This video came at the right time. Thank you so so much for this ♡
I have created an account for my art prints but I am a beginner at pintrest. Is it best to create one board called "Wall art" or "prints" and have them pinned in there??.. like mine can't really be categorised since they are all video game and retro themed.
Hi :) I'd suggest downloading my free PDF from the link in the description for more detailed guidance. But yes, I'd create a board with an SEO friendly title including keywords like "wall art" or "art prints". But make the title and description of the board more descriptive of the exact kind of art you create so that you attract the right audience. Hope that helps!
Amazing video! I was so surprised when i saw your follower count, your content is such high quality, full of great tips:) you'll definitely blow up! How long have you been on youtube? thank you!!:)
Mam I am new to pinterest and never been selling my arts anywhere nor online neither offline. I just open an account on Pinterest rn and don't know have any other websites to link it with I have an RUclips channel but its not to that much popular. Can you guide me how and which types of website should I create and where to start
Hi, you could use Wix or Squarespace to start a website. This is a very detailed subject so it will be hard for me to answer as a comment. I will try to make a video about websites soon! :)
Thanks for the Value, Shivani! Just wanted to ask if we create a new profile & start from scratch, will it work well? As I already have one profile for more than 5 years but that is not business related. What will work the best for me?
My account was started probably 10 years ago and I started using it for my business only over the last 2 years. It's totally fine to use your existing profile. :)
Hey :) I'm not sure when I might do a painting tutorial next but if there's anything specific you'd like to learn from me, do let me know. I do publish my full length courses on Skillshare and they're also on offer on www.thejoyofgouache.com :) Hope this helps!
Thank you for your video :) I have a question, about "TAGGED TOPICS" on Pintereste: When I use the Pinterest Pin Button extension (Google Chrome), to pin my one of my Esty listings, does it add my Etsy keywords to my Pinterest pin "tagged keywords"? or is it better to go directly to Pinterest and pin from there (filling out the keywords and link and title and description)? Or should I just not worry about those "tagged topics" on Pinterest? (also, why doesn't it let me edit my tagged topics even on my created pins?) I'm new to Pinterest. Thank you in advance!!
Hey :) So I've never really added 'tagged topics' manually. I try to use the right keywords in my title and descriptions so that my pins get picked up with the right search terms or topics. I'm not really sure if you're going to be able to edit those topics, so I wouldn't worry about it. Just focus on your keywords. Also, I'd do a mix of pinning directly from Etsy (in this case the title and description would automatically get picked up and you wouldn't be able to edit them) and manually uploading the images and writing your own title and description. Both can be helpful in their own ways, so I'd suggest you do a mix. :) Hope this helps!
@@shivanipatelart thank you :) I have another question: I have two completely different shops on Etsy, so do I create two different Pinterest Business accounts for each shop, or do I create different boards for each shop, but keep them under ONE Pinterest account? Or how doest that work? In one of my shops, I sell printable junk journal pages and kits and in my other shop I sell printable greeting cards, party favors and wall art. Should that all be in one Pinterest account or two different ones? Thank you in advance!!
I'm not sure why that's happening because I've never faced that issue before! I found a quora post that you might find helpful to sort this out - qr.ae/pswRDU.
Hi, make sure you have a Business Account. Go to settings -> Claimed accounts and you should see both Websites and Instagram as options. You can even follow the steps mentioned here - help.pinterest.com/en/business/article/claim-your-website If you're unable to find it, I'd recommend contacting Pinterest customer support.
No matter the platform, your work can be easily stolen. You can add a watermark, but AI or Photoshop makes it easy to remove. The only way to keep your work 100% safe is to keep it to yourself. I say get your work out there so people will recognize it is your work and not the copier’s. I have seen people copying someone I follow…in the comments were tons of people pointing out this person had copied the work from the original artist. I say jump in!
Yes, I completely agree with what the others have already said. The chance of your work being copied or stolen is not unique to Pinterest. It can happen from literally anywhere, and the only solution would be to not post your work on any platform at all! But that's not going to help your art or your career. So put your work out there and build a style that's so unique and recognisable that people will know what's yours and what's fake. And when required, you can always take legal action too.
The video was informative but one thing I wanted to say is that your voice sometimes sounds like the famous actress Deepika Padukone ma'am is it just me or somebody else also said this to you dii....😶

If the two stores have completely different audiences then I'd have 2 different Pinterest accounts and have a different strategy for each :)

Hi :) Feel free to DM me on Instagram! @shivani_patel09
I send you with name prerna sketchbook plz check
the only thing stopping me from using pinterest to show my art is that anyone can save and use it... what do you think about that? is it just me?
All publicity is good publicity, if you use it to your advantage.
No one can buy from you if no one knows you exist
