It doesn't yellow :) As long as your painting has completely dried, there shouldn't be any issue of smudging either. If you're concerned, try a test patch before applying it onto your final painting!

My Pinterest strategy is all about growing my views, not followers. Follower count doesn't matter as much. If you notice, even this video is talking about VIEWS. The video speaks about growing to 30k+ views and if you notice, my Pinterest page is now at 45-50k monthly views. And I'm choosing not to respond to your "And you are not even profesional artist just pretending😂" remark because, LOL where did you even get that from? My account was started probably 10 years ago and I started using it for my business only over the last 2 years. It's totally fine to use your existing profile. :)

Hi :) I've honestly not used liquid varnish on gouache so I can't say for sure. But if one varnish isn't working out, it's best to try another. From my research, Dorland's Wax seemed to be the safest bet and I've never faced any issues with it. And always do a test patch before applying any varnish onto your actual painting.

@@viraatkumar3121 A 1080p file should be about 20MB per minute of recording. If you want good quality you can't compromise on the file size. Make sure you keep unloading the files from your phone to your laptop so you don't run out of space. And you don't need to change any setting for timelapse videos. Just use your editing software to increase the speed.

All publicity is good publicity, if you use it to your advantage. No one can buy from you if no one knows you exist

No matter the platform, your work can be easily stolen. You can add a watermark, but AI or Photoshop makes it easy to remove. The only way to keep your work 100% safe is to keep it to yourself. I say get your work out there so people will recognize it is your work and not the copier’s. I have seen people copying someone I follow…in the comments were tons of people pointing out this person had copied the work from the original artist. I say jump in!

Yes, I completely agree with what the others have already said. The chance of your work being copied or stolen is not unique to Pinterest. It can happen from literally anywhere, and the only solution would be to not post your work on any platform at all! But that's not going to help your art or your career. So put your work out there and build a style that's so unique and recognisable that people will know what's yours and what's fake. And when required, you can always take legal action too.

Hi, make sure you have a Business Account. Go to settings -> Claimed accounts and you should see both Websites and Instagram as options. You can even follow the steps mentioned here - help.pinterest.com/en/business/article/claim-your-website If you're unable to find it, I'd recommend contacting Pinterest customer support.

Hey :) So I've never really added 'tagged topics' manually. I try to use the right keywords in my title and descriptions so that my pins get picked up with the right search terms or topics. I'm not really sure if you're going to be able to edit those topics, so I wouldn't worry about it. Just focus on your keywords. Also, I'd do a mix of pinning directly from Etsy (in this case the title and description would automatically get picked up and you wouldn't be able to edit them) and manually uploading the images and writing your own title and description. Both can be helpful in their own ways, so I'd suggest you do a mix. :) Hope this helps!

@@shivanipatelart thank you :) I have another question: I have two completely different shops on Etsy, so do I create two different Pinterest Business accounts for each shop, or do I create different boards for each shop, but keep them under ONE Pinterest account? Or how doest that work? In one of my shops, I sell printable junk journal pages and kits and in my other shop I sell printable greeting cards, party favors and wall art. Should that all be in one Pinterest account or two different ones? Thank you in advance!!

If the two stores have completely different audiences then I'd have 2 different Pinterest accounts and have a different strategy for each :)

I've tested this out extensively and I've never faced any issues (with Winsor and Newton gouache at least). I'd recommend doing a test. Just paint out swatches of all your colours and apply the wax varnish over them. If you don't face issues with the test swatches, it's unlikely you'll face issues when applying it on your final paintings too. :)
