I finally got my hands on the MKC Super Cub!
MKC is owned by Master Bladesmith, Josh Smith. He's been polishing his craft since he was in high school which is also when his mom advised him to go ahead and file his business name. It was many years later when he finally made good on it and took the chance at starting his company in earnest.
I've been lucky to call Josh a friend for a couple of years now, and it's been an absolute inspiration to watch the success he's garnered with his company.
I've been eyeballing the Super Cub since I first saw it in his shop back in December of 2021. The Super Cub is considered to a drop point hunter, and therefore more of an all purpose working knife. I'm looking forward to putting this to use around the property in Northern Idaho.

Buck stands behind their knives, too.
I have Super Cub, and like it fairly well. I have XL hands and find that the handle is still a bit small, and that little guard can poke me at times. But it is a good knife.

Speedgoat is my daily driver. Definitely smaller but that’s kind of the idea of it. The mini speedgoat has a better sheath for an edc but is just a hair small for me.
