Code of The West

I've always loved storytelling since I was a little kid. It started with movies, and very rapidly shifted to include (and then focus) on comic books. It's my belief that stories help us navigate the strange world we all live in, and the best of those stories find a way to teach us something while being entertaining.
A brand is like a story we get to live inside of.
COTW is the story about the individual; the self directed, capable individual that holds themselves to a higher standard. The sort of person that does the right thing even if no one is looking, that takes their hat off when they walk inside and that says hello to strangers and says "thank you," when they're paid a kindness.
I choose to live with courage-to keep my word and to treat everyone with respect and dignity 'til they prove otherwise.
I don't think I'm the only one. Even if I am, that's alright because I know it in my gut this is who I want to be. You're welcome to ride with if you're going in the same direction.

Courageous Is Who We Are

I love this country. I love it for all its virtues, and accomplishments as well as its blemishes and mistakes. It’s an experiment in self governance. Like all experiments you won’t always find the solution after the first or second or third attempt. You have to keep going. You can’t give up on the experiment just because you haven’t found the desired outcome yet. You keep failing until you arri...
How To Become A Cowboy Pt 2

Where there’s a will, there’s a way. PART 2 of How To Become A Cowboy . . . Jamie Nelson wasn’t always a hand. She had to figure out how to realize her dreams in more…creative ways. I get a lot of messages from folks asking if I have any advice for learning how to participate in this community, and as I’m pretty new to the REAL deal, I turned to the experts when I was out at the branding. @jami...

I got 1 an they r together asrip
Filson isn’t what it used to be
No
Sounds like an aussie drizabone
So if they are selling cattle, why is this guy Rip like a criminal enforcer? Dude just killed a medical examiner. Just started Yellowstone and still confused about the premise. These are morally ambiguous to straight up evil protagonists, i get that. people seem to really identify with. Which i dont get why.
Ironic that a character called ''RIP'' is the one to wear a Filson jacket. Rip Filson indeed.
Thanks! If I wear the jacket will I be as confident and handy?😊
Hipster crap that you'll never see on real cowboys!
Mia mentioned it in a episode
City queers got ahold of Filson, and now the prices are stupid insane
I found the same jacket, I was on the verge of buying it. But RIP is the only one who deserves to wear that jacket, RIP makes that jacket look super cool.
❤
Is it actually warm?
In Australia we a dry as a bone full length and mid length to jacket type the best check em out
In Texas that calf would’ve been down before the video started
What a looker.....RIP ❤
I purchased one after joining the Salvation Army and it’s taken a beating and performs perfectly!
Thank you! I been trying to figure it out
Folsom has great products, they are proud of them
Sweet
C C Filson's gear will outlast you. Its that good. You get what you pay for. I've had a fishing hat for 20 years and its still almost like brand new
Why does it affect you at all what someone calls a jacket? Life is a lot more difficult when we get hung up on the small things lol. Rip is a character but what do you think that character would say about it bugging the hell out of you lol
Pass
It is a cool jacket
Why did you get the jacket from
Fuck your feelings
If you think buying a thing makes you cool or cowboy you don't even know what line to stand in.
I have a wax cotton long coat I call a duster.
I want one
I was today years old when I found out RIP is the same guy who played in the movie , The Family that Preys. 😮
this guy thinks hes cool hahaha
Mines a fleece lined denim jacket. Warm as hell, weighs a ton, it’ll last forever, makes my wife frisky. It’ll do 😉
You can pick one up at the brokeback mountain store.
Rip likes to paddle young boys
With the name RIP how could you not be cool.
Rip wants to be cool but he’s not. And the jacket is too small
How come you look like such a dork in it tho
Hardbody
He's wearing a man girdle
Overpriced and made in Bangladesh no thank you .
Wild West wannabe quote comparable to Live laugh love soccer moms
WEAR THE TIN PAINTS FOR MANY YEARS IN THE WOODS
And for $1,450 you too can own one of these Roughout Leather Short Cruiser jackets by Filson or....buy the ole standard rancher jacket, Carhartt for under 200

I don't care what Rip is wearing. He is just 🆒 with or without that jacket.
