Courageous Is Who We Are

I love this country.
I love it for all its virtues, and accomplishments as well as its blemishes and mistakes.
It’s an experiment in self governance. Like all experiments you won’t always find the solution after the first or second or third attempt.
You have to keep going.
You can’t give up on the experiment just because you haven’t found the desired outcome yet.
You keep failing until you arrive at the solution.
It’s not even a failure if you don’t stop. It’s simply discovering what won’t work, and eliminating it as a potential solution to the problem.
It takes courage to fail, and get back up and try again.
It takes courage to start in the first place.
We must always be courageous enough to find the solutions that work.
We can not give up on this great nation of our’s.
It’s our jobs to preserve it, and to embody the best of it in ourselves.
