Everybody hates nargis in rockstar but I totally get why he cast her. She was perfect for it. There were imperfections in her acting but she still was the best choice. I cannot imagine anybody else as heer

no matter how much its justified by Imtiaz or anybody else but...Nargis wz a clear miscast in Rockstar... she degraded the emotional connect the story actually aimed for...
Rockstar will go down in History as one of the best movies ever made but Nargis Fakhri as a heroine really takes the shine off of the film. She cannot act and her "plastic" face makes it unbearable to watch her on screen.
She is an average actress but here she acted well. She adds to the charm of rockstar. I cannot imagine any other heroine in it now that i watched her in it
Cut Some slack it was her first movie and that too of a language and culture she was not familiar with. Plus she acted better than Katrina when she first joined the industry.
