Flo is an actual genius. The problem with switching units is that you invested in upgrades for other units, so if he doesn't invest in them at all it doesn't matter what he builds. Might be too much science in my brain but i can understand the weird flexibility that comes from not making upgrades.

Do landed vikings get a bonus from vehicle weapons though? Or do they still require air weapons for that? Because of they do, vehicle ground weapons would have been totally worth it.

Infantry and vehicle armor will always help, even if they just keep your workers alive a second longer(while repairing the planetary). Also, +1 attack is cheap and just as effective as +3 , when you have none. However, in this match Flo only needed like 6-10 marauders to bulk up his ground forces and slow the zerg while his real army did the damage. Furthermore, SC has this trick that allows your units with +1 attack to reduce the number of shots needed to kill an enemy, most obvious on tanks and thors, but also helions.
The funny thing about that bunker in the mineral line?
That's how it used to be done StarCraft 1.
I think if you look around you can still find Star Craft strategy guides telling people to build a bunker there as part of their standard defense.
I did that once found the overloads with a speed banshee, then warped bcs to then and started killing them Yamato on the ones further away, gives you a chance to deal damage while Zerg has to use their current supply of larvae just to build purely overlords

I am not kidding: Every time I fall to sleep while watching the Florenico Files or his channel I wake up with really massive headaches. I used to think that was coincidence, but it proved otherwise.
This is why you say no to hammering macro fundamentals into your brain before micro and situational awareness, kids. This is actually grating to watch. These kinds of players are like bad SC bots, completely lifeless.

@@GruppeSechs of course, but how many games does he lose because the game goes plus 20 and he just can't fight against a max upgraded opposition.
I love every single thing he does and all the science except this one thing.
It would actually make him a scary player.
@@jamesimeson8554 But having those glaring faults is what makes his games so hilarious. He fucks up in such glaring ways and still beats people because he's a squirrely fucker.

I just hate him doing all his magic just for a sweat to grind out the win because he got upgrades and that's it.
@@jamesimeson8554 Upgrades are only extensions to your overall skill. But it's important to learn your skills first before you pledge your allegiance to brut strength. It's always easier to grab a weapon then to tighten your fist.

I really respect your intelligence and you know way more then I about SC2 but you're wrong.
He is not having a 200 minerial handicap by going planetary.
Because it's not a straight loss, he is gaining a planetary which plays into he's tactics.

this is silly playing against lower league players like this one. Obviously the guy he is playing has a big limitation of micro.
To be fair though, I'm pretty sure flo is about diamond level with terran. He only hit masters with protoss.
@@danm2084 Yeah this is Diamond level atm because i'm learning Random. The Florencio files is going to be getting into masters videos next then GM's in the future. It's a progressive series where you see a player grow in time as a freestyle player.

@@danm2084 I don't say i'm GM just because I got it once. I say i'm GM with my toss because I reached it in all 3 servers. ruclips.net/video/gDNh0F8oW7U/видео.html but I did it with my own styles. I will be doing the same with Zerg and Terran. But now i'm learning Terran and Zerg i'm fine with starting at the bottom again. Because It's about the journey.
