Diplomatic immunity is a thing, but it's not like you can get away with anything forever. If you did murder someone, you would at the least be kicked out of the country, and not have that job anymore. But no jail unless your home country decided to. That is if your home country is on the same level as the country your in. They could just flex the old military muscle and give you a "what do you plan to do about us jailing your ambassador" kinda look.

Well I dunno about elementary school, but in middle school you get lockers, and almost everyone uses those cheap combination master locks. Turns out you can shim them open in about 10 seconds with a piece of cut up soda can. May have gotten a few lunches. May have left a few flying cockroaches in a few lockers. We'll never know. Ah, the good old days before cameras everywhere.
