      Sifu 70 Yes. I have access to a power washer at work and probably have used it 2-3 times a week for 6 months to wash the truck with zero problems.

      Rex Hargrove congratulations on the new truck. Absolutely you can. The handles can be tough only because it is a surface that is constantly being touched.

    Totally off topic but find it funny that most of these videos people are using printer paper to mask off areas. Nobody has newspapers anymore. I ran into this last week when building a bonfire. Maybe the last hope for print media are bonfires and painting

    Hey man, thanks for the video. How long did you wait between the last coat and peeling the excess off? I am seeing varied opinions on it all over the web but I am curious how long you waited since it looked good. Also, how warm was it outside? Is it better if it's a hot day or a cooler day? What temp range? Thanks!

    • @AutoHeadz
      @AutoHeadz  4 года назад +2

      Mitchell Milligan I only waited about 45min. It was around 75 degrees that day. The warmer it is the faster it dries, but honestly this stuff is so easy to use it doesn’t make a huge difference. I may just wait a bit longer between coats if it’s cold. I wouldn’t attempt plasti dipping below 40 degrees because the spray won’t come out as a fine. I would say anywhere between 45-100 degrees is good. I power wash my truck 2x a week and the dip looks as good as it did the first day.

    • @AutoHeadz
      @AutoHeadz  2 года назад +1

      Thank you. Plasti dip lasts about 2 years if done right. The handles unfortunately will not work. Oils from the hand and the location/type of surface just isn’t conducive to plasti dip.

      AutoHeadz I saw another video saying you can plastidip the front and rear blue Ford Emblems. Have you done that? I just bought a bright red 2016 F150. I added black wheels and had it leveled. I want to remove the badges on the sides near the rear and somehow black out the the front and rear Ford emblems. Thanks!

    • @AutoHeadz
      @AutoHeadz  4 года назад +1

      I haven’t done that because I don’t really like how they come out. The symbol isn’t raised enough to get a nice look. BUT..there are some great people on eBay/Instagram that do custom blacked out emblems that look incredible. Congrats on the new truck! Red and black theme looks awesome on F150’s.

    • @AutoHeadz

    Did you let it dry on the last go before peeling or peel right after last application?

    • @AutoHeadz
      @AutoHeadz  4 года назад

      I let it dry. Everything needs to be dry before peeling. You want a little bit bit of thick spray off around what you are spraying so you have something to peel if that makes sense. Once you use it once you will get it.
