The helmet is late WWII vintage as it has the olive green webbing inside. Early WWII has khaki webbing inside, and a Vietnam helmet has a completely different webbing style. Check the helmet rim, if it has a stainless steel front seam you are a winner, if it is a rear seam manganese rim it is late WWII. The webbing is chewed up, a replacement leather sweat band can get pricy and original chin straps for the liner can go over $100. Too bad the helmet's chin straps are gone, instead of restoring it, it's best to sell it as is. good luck.

I have a question for you, I have quite a bit, actually a lot of vintage things that I need to sell. I was going to do eBay but I don’t like doing it that way and I want a little booth with a roll top where I can leave my things there and have my own little store. Do you think Ramona flea market would be the place in Jacksonville or do you that Jax Beaches Flea Market would be better? Please help me figure this out as I see that you have been doing this for a long time. Thank you so much!

    • @georgiabottlepicker5200

@@georgiabottlepicker5200 yes thank you so much I’m going to give it a try at Ramona flea market. I have to figure out a spot out there. I’m going to go and talk to them. I want to go this weekend, but it’s so cold! That’s why I’m looking for an indoor booth with the rolltop. Thank you again and God bless you!
