    Chow gar mantis is awesome. I think I've found a kung fu system that really fits me...and this is after 31 yrs of martial training. Awesome job gentlemen.

    He's "streamlined" the system and made it more street practical. His acknowledging the importance of functional strength and the distinct lack of "mysterious power" claims is a breath of fresh air Well done, Ng Sifu.

    So many great things and real knowledge , this is the difference between training in western way and Chinese way , some people are doing only the visual movements, but real meaning and significance is in the details and invisible internal work and the principles of the old methods and techniques told and explained by real master.

    Wonderful video, especially enjoyed the insight into dynamic tension and hard chi Kung. Tension is a dirty word to most martial artists but used correctly it is the gateway to real power....

    I have 45 years experience with Martial Arts most of it Kung Fu. Masters and Grand masters called me Master 36 years ago I call myself Sifu. This is an excellent explanation. I will share it with my students and community. This is much harder than it looks. The hard style chi sao in this vid. bridges Wing Chun chi sao with Tie chi push hands. These basics give power and sensitivity.

    Great style really like what I see :)>
    If you want to feel incredible explosive power BajiQuan is where it is at :)>
    The sensitivity drill reminds me of the tiger punches from BajiQuan, you punch with the scapula arms extended hip width stance, holding both fists out in front of you, both arms straight rolling your shoulders which makes your fists move in small circles then you suddenly twist from the hips projecting one of your fists forward as your torso turns side on the back to centre then turn the other way to project out the other fist which shortens the other arm like thrusting a spear you use this movement to throw punches it is quite hard to do properly with power.
    Thanks to all involved in this clip :)>

      Menyastic I couldn't possibly comment on such high level martial artists' ability, but the fact is neither of them have trained under the guidance of a sifu for almost a third of their tong long lifetimes (8 or more years) , its a bit of a long bow to draw about Henry sue as a sifu.

    • @goognamgoognw6637
      @goognamgoognw6637 5 лет назад

      You're naive, those type of front kicks are to be avoided, they're telegraphed and cannot develop power without slowness. It's a push kick. In a real fight even intermediate students can step back and catch your leg, make you loose balance. It can be used only just after you've asserted dominance in upper body attacks (to attack a high guard). As a surprise attack and only once. And why you say the Chinese student destroyed the aussie ? The chinese student looks in pain after it's over.
